- Answer There is a low-level setup in my Yamaha receiver that allows it to safely run 6 ohm speakers. Yours might have something similar.

- Answer To be honest it won't make a huge difference as these are really more background sound. I would not go any smaller than 14 or 16 guage

- Answer These speakers must be hardwired. You will need in-wall or in-ceiling wiring from your receiver to the speakers. They are not bluetooth operational to my knowledge.
