    This Amp is great works flawless with the 10in sub I purchased. The Amp and sub was installed by best buy and I am completely satisfied with the work.

    The agent installed a Kicker Amp, Line out converter, and Kicker 12inch Subwoofer using a Kicker wiring kit. The install was super clean and doesn’t take up much trunk space.

    Gil, the tech that did the install. TOP NOTCH!!! I’ve had him 2 remote starts on other cars, his customer service is great. Answered every crazy question I could come up With.

    I believe Best Buy is awesome but when installing the wiring from amp to battery they didn’t strew the bass absorber down which cause it to start melting and now is splitting I have to replace my alternator n battery which I find isn’t my place to be doing so I’d like if they replace what they have messed up and what I came out of pocket for

    Sergio installed our amp and subs for us and it all works incredible with no problems. I'm so glad my boyfriend and i had them install it.

    Well the installer he the only one that installs and was not pleasant at the midtown location in Charlotte . He said the installation would take 4 hours . Which was a joke because the battery and every is located in the back of the car so no wires had to be fed to the front for anything . I was also blindsided with an extra $25 custom fee. Plus some other fee . When I asked the installer initially I asked what was need and was that it he said yes I guess he assumed he was going to up sale me in the store but I purchased everything and brung it in so boom he had to hit me with a sneaky fee . If you go be prepared The images show my battery in the trunk on the right and on the left the " custom installation " that he preformed that took another 30 min it just that one tiny box that's about 5 inches long. from an installer that prides himself on telling customers with his sassy mouth that He's been working installation at bestbuy for 11years to do in between those two is my speaker and amp all in the trunk it took 4hrs he told me smh

    If I could give a minus star rating I would! The car audio crew at the Best Buy in Salinas California are amateurs posing as professionals. I made an appointment to have a car amplifier installed and had to wait almost 2 weeks for an appointment date. Now bare in mind that you must include the model and year of your vehicle at time of booking. With that said I went to the store on 5 seperate occasions to speak with an installer to make sure they could do the job and was told noone was available to speak to me on 4 occasions. Finally the 5th time I went to the store I was able to speak with a car audio installer; I had already waited 8 days to have it done and my appointment was 2 days out. The installer "Jim" looked at my set up and said that if I couldn't figure out how to install the amp than he couldn't either. Huh, what?? I thought they did this for a living. He eventually went and retrieved a Manager that said they could "try" to install the amp but they probably wouldn't be able to. The next day I received a phone call from the same Manager that basically said don't bring my Mercedes-Benz beacuse they can't work on it. To add insult to injury; I received an email from the Geek Squad on the scheduled date of install stating I missed my appointment with them. I wouldn't let the car audio guys at Best Buy babysit my pet rock much less install anything in my vehicles!!! Needless to say I installed the amplifier myself as you can see below

    MY WORST EXPERIENCE WITH BEST BUY EVER!!!!

    The closest Best Buy where I could get my amp installed eas in Sweetwater, Okla., 120 miles from where I live, I get up at 6am, shower and everything and leave at 7am, my appointment is at 10am. I get to the Best Buy in sweetwater at about 9:40am, it was supposed to be a 2.5 hour job, keep in mind that I have installed the speakers and run the speaker wire. So I ask the guy if I can do some pinstriping on car while he is installing the amp snd promise to get in his way, he tells me no and also tells me that i can't even be in the room where he's installing my amp, he sites insurance reasons, which is probably true even though this is NOT a garage per-sa with heavy equipment not even a floor jack its a stereo installation room with some screwdrivers and such, but I ask him how long he will be and he says about 2 hours. So I go to Lowes which is in the same mall and waste about 2.5 hours, When I get back he's on the phone, the backseat is still out of the car, the speakers are still out of the car, the exact way they were when I left, when I tried to talk to him, he just waved me off and,pointed to the phone at his ear. I go to the front and ask to speak to the store manager, this young girl approx. 22years old comes and ask's me what the problem and I explain everything that I just wrote above and told her that I had already been waiting close to 4 hours by this time, I also asked her if I could do some pinstriping on my car while I was waiting and that I wouldn't get in the installer's way, oh no she says "your not even allowed to be in that room", but she said that she would find,out what was taking so long, she came back about 20 minutes later and gave me mumbo jumbo and said he would be finished soon, well soon was over 1.5hrs later. As I was driving home I kept saying to myself that the radio was sounding like crap, this amp that I had installed in my Audi was the same amp that was in my Camaro, so I knew what it should sound like. The next day I took the amp out of my car as I was going to have someone look at it, but I noticed the two fuse's were sitting lopsided so I took the amp apart as I couldn't pull the fuse's out when i got the amp apart i seen why I couldn't them out as they were welded in to the spot where they are supposed to be able to remove them from and it looked like they had been shorted out. Needless to say I will never go back to Best Buy again!!!!!

    Order Number1120361588038 Dec 26, 2020 Total: $317.99 KICKER - CX 1200W Class D Digital Mono Amplifier with Variable Low-Pass Crossover - Black Qty: 1 Picked up on Jan 2, 2021 at Walker, MI. Picked Up I paid with my credit card for the amp and also was charged for installation fee of 119.99$ WITHOUT letting me know. Then I get charged on February 21 another 119.99$ installation fee and got a 30.00$ late fee for some reason on my credit card. Now I will see Susan today and find out if the 30.00$ late fee was reported to my credit; and why was I charged installation fee on February 21 again on my credit card. I also was charged installation fee again when I picked up my car on February 7 after audio was installed with 2 damaged parts (door seal, and door sill plástic cover) to my car that best buy paid for because I did not know I was already charged for the installation when I paid for the amp. It seems I was charged 3 times and was refunded twice now. The reason why I was charged 2 times 119.99$ on my credit card installation fee is because I paid off the card first week of January January 2 2021. Which included the 119.99$ installation fee. I have no idea on my bill it shows February 21 119.99$ again. I'll find out today from Susan. Thank you Susan for your help with refunds.

    My car stereo system sounds great!

    I would highly recommend Best Buy for car stereo installation! I had 2 pair of 6 1/2 inch coaxial speakers installed in my car to replace the manufacturer installed speakers that came with my car to improve the sound quality in my car. I also had installed a sub woofer and a sub woofer amp. Best Buy mistakingly only had me down on the schedule as having to install 1 pair of speakers, but they worked me in on the schedule to include both pairs of speakers, a sub woofer, and a sub woofer amp installation. My Best Buy car stereo installer, Kenny, was very professional, polite, and highly knowledgeable in the installation of car audio. Kenny had great communication skills. He took a close-up picture of how the speaker wires had to be spliced to connect with the stereo receiver so that I would know how he connected it. Kenny would let me know a couple of other times when he needed to communicate an aspect of the installation to me that I needed to know. I really appreciated his communication skills to me regarding the installation. Kenny even saved me some money on the speaker installation by finding a way to install my front speakers without me having to purchase a new pair of brackets. Kenny was so competent in his job, and like a genius in car audio installation! I was so totally impressed with Kenny and his excellent work installing my car speakers, subwoofer, and sub woofer amp. Everything was done professionally, neatly, and carefully. After the installation was done, Kenny showed me where my old speakers, and any old or unused items were in the trunk of my car, neatly placed in the speaker boxes. Kenny explained everything he did regarding the installation. Kenny helped me tune the sub woofer amp to my sub woofer, to get the desired bass sound that I wanted. He was very patient with me as I took a while to decide how much bass I wanted. Kenny told me if I ever needed to make an adjustment in the amount of bass I wanted, that I could make an appointment, and he would help me adjust the amount of bass to get the sound I wanted. My car sound system sounds fantastic! I am highly pleased with the work that Kenny provided to me on the car audio installation in my car! Thank you so much, Kenny, and Best Buy! I am a very happy customer!

    Good price bad technician when i went to pay the bill was $25 more then it should be thats when i asked whats the extra charge for he said to mount the box in the car but the charge description says “mount subwoofer in box” i brought a sealed and ready to plug and play subwoofer all in box so that charge was not required and i argued with him and manager until the tech decided to unplug the box to waive the fee and i paid and left…once i got home the manager called me to apologize

    Happy With My Amp Install

    Had to schedule two months out (bummer) but Best Buy in North Anchorage did good work. Installed an amp for me and it looks better than I could have managed and the price isn't bad. I did end up having to buy a line out converter even though I thought I had a pigtail that should have gotten me a line with the right signal but (1) that's somewhat more complicated than just installing a LOC and (2) maybe I was wrong.
