computer is great , the operating system sucks as i knew it would .

Like I said, it does what it's suppose to. Look for a replacement power supply and graphics card if you're looking to do gaming, however.

Picked up this computer to replace an older p/c , works wonderfully !! It's fast and has plenty of Hard drive space for my music and photo's.

I just finally upgraded to a new computer and found this one. Very happy with it. It's fast, easy to learn the new features compared to XP. Love how much memory it has and the price was great. I highly recommend this product

This computer does everything I need it to. I use it for email, web research, spreadsheets, and social media. It runs silently. It makes a slight metallic rattling sound on power up and power off, but that is all I hear. Since it is on the floor, it is very easy to access the power button, ports and card reader on the angled top edge of the tower. The open/close button for the optical drive is beautifully camouflaged in the decorative silver bar across the front of the tower. The downloaded user manual is not very helpful.

This PC has been exactly what I needed....for the most part. If you are a basic computer user than I would highly recommend this product. If you are more advanced and like a system that you can expand then you may want to go a different route. I run a higher add on graphics card to support dual monitors which are both DVI connections. With this setup, I can not access BIOS. I have to completely remove my card and go back to the onboard video to do anything in BIOS. The other issue I found was that there is no where to mount an extra HD. Fortunately I was able to modify the bracket from my old PC and mount it in this unit, but it definitely wasn't designed for this. Aside from this I haven't had any issues and overall would highly recommend this PC.

programs are different that the ones i have previously used. other than that it has adequate speed for my needs and plenty of memory

This computer is very fast, has loads of memory and works great! We have a DSL internet connection which is the fastest we can get in our area. Using this computer my web pages load very quickly. Love it!

Nice desktop. Bought it for gaming and so far no issues

Computer runs great. Aver options are a little strange. Windows 8 has more options but less flexibility than windows 7

We bought this desktop for personal use such as income taxes. Within the first couple of weeks, the system hung up repeatedly - app/program windows that were minimized could not be maximized, rendering it useless. I took it to the Geek Squad, and it has been behaving nicely for the last 10 days. I do love the rich color provided by the monitor, and hope to get used to Windows 8.

Excellent computer for the price. The only problem I had was upgrading the video card and adjusting the bios settings so it could be recognized.

I got this for coding on and it is a nice computer for its price tag. It is also nice looking, so that is a plus.

A Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 1TB HDD make this desktop pretty quick. Acer puts a little too much bloatware on it, but it can all be removed. The only real problem that I have with this machine is the wireless adapter. It would have been great if it was 802.11 ac wireless, but 802.11 n is ok. However, I keep having to reset the wireless adapter once in a while due to it dropping connection. If you are using ethernet cable, it shouldn't be a problem.

This is a great, fast computer that does everything a home computer should do. And it is lightening fast.

I don't really have any complaints other than its windows 8, it works well and does what I want it to

I was perfectly happy with XP, but my old PC didn't have the RAM to run Windows 8, hence the new Acer. Early results are good, but working with Windows 8 is a frustration. I can't imagine wanting a touchscreen desktop configuration, and apparently Microsoft can't imagine me wanting to keep using a desktop.
