Worth it..at half off, read on to see why. It is a really bright monitor. I noticed other reviewers have complained about this. Even turning it down it is still a bright monitor. You won't have to worry about the monitor being too dim to sit across the room and watch a movie or show or play games sitting back from it. The brightness of this monitor does not bother me one bit, in fact I like it this way. It is bright without being washed out. When I load the color black in mspaint and make it full screen it does indeed seem to match the black accessories sitting on my desk with not much "grey/light" bleed through, if that makes sense. I don't like the stand for it, That's why it got 1 star off, Not much play or motion in the stand at all. The stand is the cheapest part of this monitor and why I feel it is a good deal at the half off price. Thank you for reading my review and I hope it helps. Acer really hasn't let me down yet.

I purchased this to upgrade an old Dell 24" monitor. It was on sale for $170. I'd have to say for the price you couldn't ask for more. I'm using this for a basic office desktop and the 27" screen provides plenty of space to work.

Was looking for a 24” monitor and found this one for less money on the daily deal. Was a great deal. The adjustment controls are a little basic, but it has been working well for gaming which is what I was looking for in a new monitor.

I bought this during Black Friday and got it for half off the original price. Very good monitor for the price! Acer has upped their game over the last several years and are make good quality products.

Overall, very pleased with this monitor it does what I need for what i use it for, works well with my xbox as well, colors are good, the price was good(on sale) very pleased with the monitor

Great color and clarity, and appears quite bright. To note, the screen is low profile and low. Has a little lip at the bottom, but the other bezels are thin. Great price for this monitor

I chose this monitor primarily for the screen size and HD quality at a great price. It's perfect for streaming movies and surfing and I'm very happy. I added speakers for better sound.

I bought this product during thanks giving sale. Good product for the price spent on it. Works well with all settings. If it had inbuilt speakers then it could have been better.

This is a really nice monitor for the price, though not for high resolution professional graphic arts at this resolution. Others have complained about the yellow color cast and I found this to be true until I calibrated the colors. Documentation is not provided. Right click on your Windows desktop, select Display Settings >Advanced Display Settings > Display Adapter Properties > Color Management > Advanced tab > Calibrate Display > Next. Follow the prompts from there.

There are other monitors out there of course, this one for the price you pay is well worth it. Beautiful picture and size is just right!

I got this monitor when it is on sale for $139 and for the price this 27 inch monitor is excellent and serves my purpose.

This is a basic monitor. size is excellent and on sale an excellent price. would not be the best monitor for a serious gamer.

The picture quality is good but it doesn't rest on the stand evenly so it leans to one side slightly.

The S271HL 27" LED flat panel monitor is a great value if you pick one up on the sales that seem to happen monthly. Normal price of $249.99 is usually available on sale at BestBuy for $119-$139. I’ve purchased 8 of these monitors over the past few months for the office. Overall, I like this monitor and will continue to buy these when on sale. I have had ZERO issues with installation, operation, or quality. I’ve purchased sets of two on 4 different occasions and never had a quality issue. No dead pixels, no damage to items in box, and no returns/exchanges. Seems to be a good quality build. Pros: • Very affordable. • Crisp clear picture. • VGA cable included. • aesthetically nice. • HDMI, DVI, and VGA inputs. • VESA amount built in. Cons: • DVI and HDMI cable no longer included. Acer used to include 4 cables: Power, VGA, DVI, and HDMI. • Only 1 HDMI input. Not sures: • Audio jacks on the rear of the monitor. I have never attempted to use the audio jacks on this monitor, but I’ve read other reviews where users had issues with audio. •No swivel, tilt only.

This is another good office second monitor. Some "all in one" PC's in my office are 27" screens, so this pairs nicely with them. The issue comes with the resolution - capped at 1080P. At this size, and viewing distance (likely on your desk) the resolution leaves much to be desired. Still for a production monitor, it does the job, especially at the price.
