This is the Alienware 27 Gaming Monitor - AW2725DM 27" IPS LED QHD 180Hz 1ms. IPS, so the screen doesn't dim when you're not looking straight on. Great for photo & video editing and gaming. 27 inches diagonal. Not ultra-wide, but definitely capable as a solo monitor for active gaming. Also plays nicely with a second monitor thanks to the fully featured stand. Stand offers tilt (-5° to +21°), swivel (±20°), pivot (±90°), and ~4″ vertical height adjustment. Plenty of rotation, tilt up/down, and about 4 inches of vertical adjustment. This is one of my favorite things about the design. It sucks when you get a monitor that can’t adjust at all, and this one just gets it right. This monitor is gaming ready. NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ support eliminates tearing and cuts down on stutter and input lag, giving a smoother, faster gaming experience in 3D titles. It’s got TMDS, HDR, VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), 2 HDMI ports, and 1 DisplayPort. It doesn’t beat OLED on contrast, but you avoid burn-in worries—and save a chunk of money. Games look great, especially my favorite, Fortnite.

A True Value-Beast: Gaming and Performance Beyond Its Price Class If you want a monitor that feels like a much higher-tier investment — without actually paying a premium — the Alienware AW2725DM delivers exactly that. This 27″ QHD gaming display hits the sweet spot of clarity, responsiveness, and visual quality that makes every gamer feel like they just stepped up to something special. performance You Feel Right out of the box, the 2560×1440 QHD resolution gives you sharp, detailed visuals that make games, movies, and even everyday apps look refined and crisp — no pixel mush here. The real standout is the 180 Hz refresh rate paired with a 1 ms response time (in Extreme Mode): motion feels fluid and tight, whether you’re darting across a map in shooters or navigating fast-paced action. Ghosting is nearly gone, and animations feel crisp and controlled.Smooth Gameplay Across the Board With Adaptive Sync that supports both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync, tearing and stuttering are kept to a minimum. Competitive gamers and PC builders alike will appreciate the fluidity and responsiveness here — especially at this price point. Even at 180 Hz, this monitor holds its own in slower-paced games, giving you vibrant visuals while keeping colors rich and textures well-defined. Alienware didn’t skimp on ergonomics: the stand offers good height, swivel, tilt, and pivot adjustments, which means finding your perfect viewing angle is simple and comfortable. The sleek build and premium look add a touch of style to any desk setup — whether it’s for gaming or productivity. While this model doesn’t chase the ultra-expensive features found in top-tier OLED panels, it makes wise trade-offs that deliver real-world value: Competitive refresh and response for gaming Vibrant, color-rich IPS visuals Strong ergonomics that last through long sessions All without a premium price tag

Alienware is a brand synonymous with high-end gaming hardware. Normally, "high-end" comes with "high price," however Alienware as of late has been doing a great job of putting out solid products without making you break the bank. The Alienware - AW2725DM 27" is another example of Alienware making a really good product, at a solid price point. I love the base of this monitor being so easy to apply, and taking up such little space, I do wish it had a bit more height and adjustable height...but setup was quick and easy. In a world where monitors are starting to have bloat software, the AW27 keeps it light and easy in regards to options/software. I know some may like the whole "smart monitor" options out there, but this is probably a way in which Alienware finds a way to keep the price down. 1440p is still the sweet spot for gaming, and boy is the 1440p crisp on this monitor. With a 180hz refresh rate...the frames! This is a very solid starter monitor for those getting in to gaming. I do wish with the monitor not being an OLED that the brightness would be brighter. Normally the benefit of LED is the brightness, but again, this is probably another spot where Alienware keeps the price low. With that said, the colors still look great. Overall, this is a great monitor at a solid price point. Yeah, it's missing some of the big monitor checkmarks, but bang for your buck, this is a winner, I'd strongly recommend for those not looking to sell an arm for a monitor.

I couldn’t be happier with my Alienware 27-inch 180Hz monitor—it has completely exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I powered it on, the difference was obvious. The 180Hz refresh rate delivers unbelievably smooth motion, making fast-paced games feel incredibly fluid and responsive. Whether I’m playing competitive shooters, action games, or even just scrolling and multitasking, everything looks and feels faster and cleaner. The 27-inch screen size is the perfect balance between immersion and practicality. It fills your field of view without taking over your desk, and the resolution provides sharp, crisp visuals with excellent clarity. Colors are vibrant and accurate, blacks are deep, and brightness is more than enough for both gaming and everyday use. Games look stunning, and even movies and videos benefit from the rich detail and smooth performance. Build quality is outstanding, which is exactly what you’d expect from Alienware. The monitor feels solid and premium, with a sleek, modern design that instantly upgrades the look of any setup. The stand is sturdy and highly adjustable, allowing for easy height, tilt, and swivel adjustments so you can dial in the perfect viewing angle. Cable management is also well thought out, keeping everything clean and organized. Setup was quick and easy, and the monitor has been extremely reliable with no flickering, tearing, or other issues. The high refresh rate combined with low response time makes a noticeable competitive advantage in gaming, and once you experience it, it’s hard to go back to a standard display. Overall, this Alienware 27-inch 180Hz monitor is an absolute powerhouse. It delivers exceptional performance, premium build quality, and a fantastic visual experience. If you’re a gamer or anyone looking for a high-end monitor that truly delivers on its promises, this is a purchase you won’t regret. Highly recommended!

I’ve had this monitor for a bit now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my setup. The 180Hz refresh rate is buttery smooth—especially noticeable in fast-paced games like Warzone. I came from a 60Hz screen, and the difference is honestly night and day. No screen tearing, no ghosting. Just smooth, responsive gameplay. The QHD resolution hits a sweet spot for me—not too demanding on the GPU, but still super sharp. And the colors? Absolutely gorgeous. The HDR actually feels like real HDR (unlike some monitors that just slap the label on). Blacks are deep, highlights pop, and the contrast is solid for an IPS panel. Watching Netflix or playing story-heavy games looks amazing. The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Alienware—sleek, premium, and sturdy. It’s got that futuristic vibe without being over the top. The stand is solid, super adjustable, and doesn’t take up a ridiculous amount of desk space. I’ve tested both HDMI and DisplayPort, no issues there. It also plays super nice with both FreeSync and G-Sync (I’m using an NVIDIA card, and it synced up perfectly). Honestly, if you’re debating between this and a slightly cheaper monitor, just go for this one. It’s the kind of screen that makes you want to sit down and play or edit or whatever. No regrets.

    Great Entry Gaming Monitor

I picked this monitor up for a few reasons. My son is getting a little older now and getting more into programming. The extra pixel density and resolution (1440p) vs his 1080p monitor was the primary factor. The reason I opted for Alienware was because of their phenomenal customer support. So while this monitor may cost a little more than other monitors of similar spec, the peace of mind from knowing if there is a problem it will get handled is worth it. As for build quality I have no complaints with this monitor. Its similar my other Alienware monitor. Its a plastic design all around with minimal bezels and a nice joystrick controller in the middle of the screen for navigating the menus. It has a matte anti reflective coating on it that doesn't blur the image like other monitors. The Alienware logo on the back I believe is RGB but I never messed with it. It supports two HDMI 2.1 ports on the back and 1 Displayport 1.4 (given the refresh rate of the panel, the newer standard doesn't make sense). One nice benefit of this panel is that it has 2 USB ports on the underside which gives my son an additional USB port for his laptop which he was desperately needing. One of the ports also supports higher power charging though I'm not sure the wattage. I didn't get to test the 180hz of the panel as my sons laptop tops out at 144hz, but I really don't think he needs it. The image quality is a huge step up from his previous VA panel. This panel is IPS and has a good color range. It also supports HDR that is 'ok'. Being LED backlit / IPS, the panel is going to suffer from some sort of backlight bleed and fortunately this panel isn't that bad with it. This will vary from panel to panel, but I got fortunate with this one. In my picture you can barely tell, but its more apparent in a fully dark room. Overall, this is a very good monitor. I have no complaints with it and would buy another given the opportunity.

This Alienware AW2725DM 27" LED QHD gaming monitor is awesome! It's pretty much 'plug and play.' All I had to do what just go into my PC's Display settings to duplicate/extend my screen appearance, and to adjust resolution. There's also menu options for the monitor itself, via a "joystick" button located in the middle on the underside of the monitor frame. The monitor is made exceptionally well. The display screen attaches to a strong, sturdy, solid base. While there isn't a "slider-type" 'up/down' adjustment on the stand, the monitor does tilt, as well as, swivel to a vertical position, if desired. There is also a 'cord minder' cut-out hole on the stand, which is quite helpful. The monitor comes with 3 cables (besides the power cord) - an HDMI cable, Display Port cable, USB Type-A to USB Type-B cable. There are 2 HDMI ports, 1 Display Port, 2 USB-A, and 1 USB-B ports. The power cord is nice and lengthy; strong yet flexible. Now, while the monitor screen itself is only 27" diagonally, the display dimension seems larger perhaps as a result of the 2560x1440 screen resolution. Couple that with Nvidia's G-Sync technology, and the performance of this gaming monitor impresses. This Alienware's LED display boasts bright, clear, lifelike visuals. In a word, it's gorgeous!

I’m very happy with this monitor. The display quality is extremely sharp and bright, and the colors look amazing. The 180Hz refresh rate makes everything smooth, especially for gaming and fast-moving videos. The size is perfect for my desk, and the design looks modern and premium. I also appreciate how easy it was to set up—just plug in and go. No issues so far, and it works exactly as advertised. Highly recommend it.

The first thing I look for on a monitor is the color. Considering this is an LED I wasn’t thinking it would be that great, but after using it for a bit its actually surprisingly good. The blacks look decent and the other colors do have a pop to it. They don’t look as washed out as I have seen on other monitors I’ve tried. The setup is pretty easy too, just take the stand out and pop it on the monitor and hand tighten a few screws. It slides up and down on the stand which is nice, so you can adjust the height however you want. The one thing that it doesn't have is speakers, which most of my other gaming monitors do have however they are so bad I never use them so its not really a bad thing ,but something to know if you do not have another speaker. There isn’t too much extra, just make sure when you connect it you set the refresh rate up as mine was lower. But everything kind of plug an plays, and I didn’t spend much time doing any adjustments and it worked good. You have the standard menus to change things and also change input, so its like any monitor you may have used. Overall, its a pretty good monitor for the price. If you spend more and get an OLED you’ll get better colors, but this one is actually very good from my usages.

I took a chance on a newer gaming monitor. The sRGB really pops. The clarity is great. Gameplay is smooth as the refresh rate is 180hz. Console gaming looks great, too. HDR is okay. Nothing to fawn over. My only gripe is the lack of an audio jack. Other than that. The monitor is solid choice for gaming needs.

Got it to use with my Xbox and it works amazing! It runs in 1440p at 120 hz on my series X. Picture quality is fantastic. One thing to keep in mind, it does not have an audio out or speakers. So if using on a console, you’ll need headphones or an hdmi audio extractor for speakers. But I use gaming headphones so that’s not an issue. Also, set up was VERY easy. Highly recommend!

Recently got this monitor as I upgraded from a 1080p screen. This monitor has a sharp display, I sit next to a window and this monitor is bright enough that there is no issue of brightness or glare. has plenty of inputs as well as usb ports too!! Gaming has been awesome on this screen. if you dont want to spend OLED money get this LCD screen. it's well worth the money.

One of the only 27" QHD monitors that has a 1.4 Display Port that can support high refresh rates at QHD quality. There is talk online that ghosting is an issue, but unless your face is right in front of the screen it isn't going to be noticed. The stand can also swivel and is very strong despite it being wider than average. Overall images are clear and the monitor can keep up high speeds without issue.

For thr price i spent on the monitor and for what im getting is great. The monitor is 2560x1440 180 hz which is great for gaming with quality. The only reason i have it at 4 over is mainly due to the fact it doesnt have adjustible stand. I cant move it up and down but i just mounted it on a monitor mount anyways. The quality and the build seems great and i had no issues since buying it.
