I’m no stranger to hard music, as I have listened to it , most of my life. This is my first Slipknot cd though. I am here to say, I rather enjoyed it. Growing up on Slayer and such, I really like Corey’s singing. Although they sound nothing like Slayer. They do have their own niche in this heavy kind of music. I also enjoyed hearing Corey’s softer side, if you will, of showcasing his voice! I am glad I decided to give this one a try.

With great songs like 'Snuff'', a 'Vermillion' slow but intriguing and melodic song, and 'Dead Memories' an emotional moreover beautiful song. Although this is probably one of my - if not my least favorite album with seemingly a hint of too much mainstream and not enough raw metal. Still songs to takeaway from this.

Very much the same sounding album as the others if your a fan you will dig this album but no songs really kept My attn long enough to want to repeat them over and over but overall a good album

Worth listening to if you are fan of metal. Slipknot have been around for some time and it's worth listening to and to go back. And would look nice with your metal collection

Found this in the $5 clearance bin by the register. I loved Slipknot's earlier stuff, but haven't bought anything in the last few years. For five buck's I didn't go wrong.

i enjoy my new cd, it was a great price. I will be shoping at best buy in the future for other products. the people there are also very helpful and polite

I really enjoy this album, I feel this 4th album was a much better effort than the previous release

Good tunes, great buy. I like everything, well most, they do so my opinion is biased.

One of Slipknot's better albums, and at a great price as well. Snuff is the standout track here.

If you have any of there other cds you must get this one too.

Slip knot consistently puts out good heavy albums.

To me, 'All Hope is Gone' is like another 'Vol 3' - there are some really good songs, and then there are some songs that you just don't care for. It IS still Slipknot, and the CD is still good, but it just doesn't live up to my expectations. If you like Slipknot, there's no doubt about it: buy this CD. However, don't expect to bring this record home and be blown away and brutalized like the self-titled album or "Iowa".

If ur like me all of slipknots albums previous to this one are nothing but alot of banging and unrecordable music, they were nothing more than a "must see live show" there style of music was holding the song writing talents of cory taylor back. Luckily for us rock fans he kept his original band stone sour together therefore, if u love stone sour and u love hard rock music, you will love this album. It sounds more like a new stone sour album just a little edgier and less radio friendly. It is by far the best slipknot album ever.
