used with a H90 Corsair water cooler and KrakenG10

used this with a Corsair H90 with a NZXT Kraken G10 GPU bracket to water cool an Nvidia 980 Ti for 4k gaming. It works fine my GPU idles at 26 to 29 C and never gets above 60 C. Thermal paste was also used with my 4790k i7 so there is a good amount included in the vial so if you need multiple uses this will work for you.

Good CPU TIM (Thermal Interface Material)

A very good TIM which dropped my load CPU temperatures by 9 deg. Celsius compared to the OEM material used on my Corsair H60 CPU cooler. Antec went all in on this version of their TIM, using more diamond crystals than several competitors. Likes: - More diamond crystals to enhance the properties (diamond is the second-best commonly known heat-transferring material) of the paste. Works well for overclocking the CPU. - Cures nicely and works better after a small burn-in period. - Included Spreader / spatula tool was a nice touch. - Slightly better performance, depending on setup, than Arctic Silver 5. Dislikes: - Price. 4 gram tube. Enough to do several CPU's. If you only need to do one CPU, it is VERY expensive. - Density. This paste goes on thicker than many others on the market. - If you have a very efficient cooler or low-power CPU now, you will see minimal CPU temperature decreases. If you have an OEM or inefficient cooler, or overclock the CPU, the temperature decreases will be greater, especially at load.

Applied to existing CPUs for two computer systems I upgraded the motherboards in. Needed Win 10 compatible BIOS and I didn't want to invest in whole new systems. Installed the new boards and transferred the CPUs and memory sticks from the old motherboards. The processors seemed to run about 15-20F hotter after the transfer which I attributed to breaking the bond between the processor and heat sink during removal and replacement. I removed the old paste and applied the Antec thermal compound and reassembled. Worked like a charm. Running much cooler now.

    Better than Arctic Silver?

While assembling a new build, I needed thermal paste to install a heat sync. I went to the best buy store and this is all they had in stock. I went there looking for Arctic Silver, but this is all they had in stock. After a quick internet search, I found that this was as good or better than arctic silver. It has served me well so far. Running an Intel 4770K letting the mother board AI suite (ASUS) overclock. Haven't hit a temp higher than 41C after multiple-hour gaming sessions in Far Cry 3. I used an X application pattern on top of the processor to ensure generous area coverage.

I purchased this on short notice because a friend was having overheating issues with his computer. I usually use better known products like Arctic Silver and the like because they're better known and have proved the quality of their product over time. I did hesitate before purchasing, because I had never heard of this product, but was pleased to find it works quite well. Cooling wise I found it's pretty close to some other better known brands at this price tier, but because you can find it at Best Buy it's much more easily available when you really need it. I did not test this paste under overclocking conditions, but if you're running your components at stock (default) this is more than enough.

One of the best TIMs if applied properly

I admit that applying TIM has never been my specialty. I have tried many different kinds and they are all different. I was looking for something that had high ratings and found that this one was near the top but was not as popular as most. I actually bought this one at another store cause it was the best locally. I reapplied many times with avg temps on my cpu. It wasn't until I ran out of that one that I found it available at Bestbuy and went straight there to replenish my supply. This time I found that it had an applicator and used it on another pc I was rebuilding. I applied as thin and equally distributed as I could. I must have got it right cause the temps dropped a lot. I now have more room to overclock this other pc that I applied it cause the thermal wall was extended. This got me excited so I reapplied this on my primary gaming and video editing pc in just the same way. I also network compute (like Folding@Home)and use full resources so things get real hot. I must have got it right cause I dropped at least 5*C at full load. Lastly, from my own research, I read because this stuff is so thick that it is better for heatsinks that are not as flat with grooves. Unlike the flat and very smooth heatsinks that need the thinner and lighter TIM. I will buy again but now that I got it right I can wait a while before I have to re-seat the cpu.

Antec nano diamond thermal compound is one of the two best I've found for keeping my processor cool. It applies easily and spreads evenly. I am able to OC my quad-core processor an additional .5 GHz with just air cooling and am seeing temperatures increase only five to eight degrees at 100 percent load. Recommended whether you tweak or not.

I looked at a lot of different thermal compound online and read the reviews. Even looked at a bunch of videos on you tube. Was the only kind that I could purchase from a store, all others had to be shipped. This is the first kind of thermal past I have used, it went on fine, no problems with application. Cpu is running cooler with the new heat sink and paste.

I've been building PC's since 1996 & this thermal paste is the best on the market. A bit pricey & you only get a few uses per tube, but it doesn't dry out & cake like the white stuff. Expect at least a 10% drop in cpu or gpu temps.

Great product for small job. Not priced right for production work, but it's availability (being at Best Buy) is a considerable advantage. Also the thermal conductivity value for this product is higher than anything else I could find anywhere, making it the best choice from that standpoint. It comes with a small spreader, which is nice.

This was my only choice for thermal paste since I needed it and couldn't find it anywhere else locally. It did what it was supposed to. I did not have any problems with it. But then, I don't use thermal compound every day.

Application requires more time / patience compared to silver based compounds. As noted by others this paste is a little thicker than silver based and requires more work to get an ultra thin layer. A proper burn sequence also seemed to make a two degree difference. CPU ran around 5-8 degrees cooler. Not a big deal if not overclocking / stressing the component. if the price was not so cheap due to poor reviews (less expensive than silver when I purchased), would have just bought silver for my intended use. Barely used any from tube, expect it to sit around and get plenty more use over the next couple years.

While there are some metallic pastes out there with better heat transfer abilities, they will should it run, short out your gear. Ceramic pastes like Ceramique 2 are dielectric, but you take a performance hit. This is kind of the inbetween. Not as efficient as some metallic compounds like Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra, but better performance than ceramiques while staying dielectric / non conductive.

As a system builder, I've relied on Antec brand thermal compound as my choice brand. Unlike simple heatsink grease, the chemical compound of Antec's thermal compound is outstanding. It keeps the CPU temperatures cooler, and the application lasts much longer. While some brands will last for a few years, I've had high performance systems last for several years before needing to clean off the CPU and reapply a new layer of compound. This stuff is just awesome!

It's thermal paste, not much to say about it really. It does what it's supposed to do. Tore apart the girlfriend's laptop for a cleaning and ditched the adhesive patch on the CPU in lieu of some decent paste. Computer still runs, and a bit cooler, but probably because I blew out a bunch of dust, as well. Unfortunately, the "DIY" aisle of computer parts seems to be getting smaller and smaller at my local BB, so I had to hunt around for it for a few minutes.

So, my laptop has had major heat issues lately. I completely took it apart, dusted(was expected amount of dust nothing major), and I took off the heatsink for the GPU and CPU. I had cleaned off the processors with rubbing alcohol the best I could and applied this to both with good amounts. Now my laptop runs VERY cool and gets barely warm when I am gaming on it.

For a gamer with high speed hardware, this product solved the over temp issues on my ASUS jh73g. The factory paste became useless, allowing temps over 90C. Since repasting, my temps are > 60C, even with my games going full bore. The Antec thermal paste was recommended by the sales associate in-store, and I'm very pleased with the results. I did not try any other brands, but did much research about thermal repasting. A great product. Thanks!
