Great choice for first Ultrawide.

Response time feels smooth. It works with GSync. It was easy to put together and set up and looks amazing on my desk. I don't play FPSes or anything that requires twitch reflexes anymore, but it definitely has helped with visibility in MMOs. It works great with my 3070.
