    I thought I could use it to extend range of the standard router I got from cable company...however, this is 'older' tech and the range was not that great. Ended up returning it and getting the Extreme which is AWESOME. Range and speed kills! However if your budget and heart is set on it, the setup is super easy especially if you have a Mac.
