Easy setup and overall amazing product!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prior to purchasing the Airport express, I was perfectly satisfied with my cisco linksys e2500 router. Up until now, it had worked great- reliable, great range, signal strength, etc. However, once I updated my MacBook Pro to the Mavericks operating system, the router was no longer "compatible." I tried resetting the router and all the other basic quick fix options. After reading some forums online, everyone suggested just switching to a Netgear router. I almost purchased a Netgear but figured an Apple router would likely always be compatible with all my Apple products no matter what updates came out!! This router may have been a little more than I wanted to spend on a router considering my internet needs (this router is way more capable than I need it to be for my small condo), but I am thinking long term here and am happy to have purchased something I feel will be reliable and last a LONG time no matter what updates come out. It supports tons of devices being connected at the same time, signal strength is great, and I'm sure the range is phenomenal, except I live in a condo so I am not taking advantage of that. Also, setup was EXTREMELY easy. Took me about 10 min to set up :) Very happy with this purchase!!
