This is easily my favorite piece of technology. My previous tablet was a first generation iPad Mini and I loved it. The larger surface area took a little getting used to but it is soooo nice. I really enjoy the fingerprint sensing technology as well. No more typing passwords to log in or make purchases. The camera improvements are both welcome and noticeable. This tablet performs well for both professional as well as personal use.

    Great iPad Air

I've had my iPad Air 2.0 for a month now and really enjoy using it. I'm a big fan of Apple products in general (iPhone, MacBook Pro, etc). Occasionally, the Touch ID fingerprint sensor doesn't quite register properly, but that happens on my iPhone 6 as well, so I think it's just the technology in general. Aside from that, it's been running great! Love the design, love the size, and love the Space Gray!

15 Yr Old Grandson Loves it!

As a senior who is not computer/technology savvy, I decided to have my grandson go with me to BB after showing me the Sale flyer. His B-day is Dec 21, so thought this would be a great way to have him show off his skills and knowledge to me while we had quality time shopping in a retail store together, that had sales clerks he could relate to, and when they did not have an answer for me, they got a clerk that could. Another nice thing was they had a motorized shopping cart, which was helpful as I was using a walker. He decided on a thinner model- a Apple-ipad Air 2- wi fi 16GB in a silver color. What I like best is we also got headphones-now there is no one complaining abt sounds disrupting them. Altho, he now appears to have selective hearing, as he does not appear to hear his name being called.LOL- There are no parts to lose or misplace, like a stylus. It affords him the opportunity to complete homework in just abt any setting as we can pick up wi fi at the Doctors office or McDonalds- so no excuses! He appears to be on it 24/7 and he has an attitude of satisfaction when he completes his endeavors. Thank U Best Buy!

The 1st iPad Air, was not all that great on improvements, and felt a bit to light compared to earlier pads, it just lacked "Apple" quality in my opinion, Apple is not as innovative as it has been in past yrs. With Jobs gone, only time will tell weather I stay an Apple fan or not. This 2nd edition Air sports features that are on phone 5s, I am looking forward to using the updated camera plus other features during holidays, I really like the way the Pad feels in my hand, its heavier; feels more solid and yet its thinner. Hope the rest of its features/functions are as good as earlier versions (before the "Air" series) for durability and function. Recommend this to a friend? Sense I have to select a radio button to submit this, I guess I will give Apple the benifet of the doubt and say Y.

Wife had the iPad 3rd Generation and the Air 2 is so much lighter, thinner and faster. Apps open fast, always reliable, never crashes. The ios system is so stable. Battery life is extremely long. With moderate use, writing email and playing a few games here and there...a full charged battery lasted me a week before having to charge again. Great product with a variety of cases to choose from.

fully laminated display with anti-reflective screen, finger print ID, lighter, thinner, better performance with A8/M8 processors, slow-motion video, 8 MP Photos, Burst Mode and many more...just for 100 more $. That's a good deal!

    Nice upgrade from standard ipad

The iPad Air 2 is a significant upgrade from the standard issue iPad 2 I had been using. Screen resolution is better and clearer. The product is thinner and therefore lighter. The older iPad had gotten slow to load apps and Safari so the speed upgrade is a bonus. The only two negatives are that the availability of cases for a new product is limited and the battery runs down faster than the iPad2.

Purchased 2 of these tablets on the Black Friday sale. I have been using the second generation iPad, about 5 years old. Thought my wife and mother would enjoy having their own iPads. Wow. What a difference from mine. Much thinner, lighter, faster and unlike mine, great Wifi connectivity. They love them and I'm going to upgrade mine seeing how much nicer the newer model is.

Best Ipad I had so far

I have had the original Ipads (1, 2 and 4), then I bought a mini when it lauched. Updated to the retina mini (mini 2). Habing this mini2 for a while, decided to give it a try in a Air2, the top-of-the-line non-pro Ipad currently. I have to say I am impressed with a few points in this ipad. The screen state does make a difference, even though I try to have my equipment sizes in the smallest form sizes while keeping it functional. I see myself no longer using my mini2 in favor of the new Ipad Air2. Its also fast. A lot faster then any Ipad I had before. I never wait for any operation. Games load fast. Final comment: the screen quality is amazing. I cant tell the details, but see for youself. Use it for a while and you realize the screen quality of the Air is hundreds of years ahead compared to the mini.

I have been using an iPad 2 for several years. The iOS 8 update seemed to bog it down so I finally decided to upgrade to the new iPad air 2. This tablet is lighter, brighter and much faster than my old tablet. The higher resolution make reading books and web pages much easier. Worth the money to upgrade.

I upgraded from the iPad 1 and have been very happy with the iPad Air 2. The weight of the unit is very impressive and the retina display is amazing. The speed jump from the iPad 1 to the Air 2 is very noticeable.

Purchased as a Christmas present during black Friday weekend so was a great deal. Was an upgrade for one of our kids from their old iPad. The iPad Air 2 is lighter and has extra features that the iPad Air 1 doesn't have so we were glad we purchased the 2 instead of the 1. And is just being used to watch TV, texting and face timing so didn't need lots of extra GB's.

Coming from and iPad second gen this blew my mind! It is so fast and smooth. The camera is amazing, and that is part of the reason for the upgrade. Love iOS8 and apple just did another fine job on this device. Only interesting thing is there is no mute switch, you can press down on volume or use the quick launch from the bottom to mute it. No big deal, just different.

Always loved my iPads, upgraded to the 4th gen from my 1st generation tablet just in time for the air 2 to release, and then got envious of the iPad airs. Ended up going for the Air 2 on black friday. It's amazingly fast, light and powerful, while the shape is odd, it's taller versus fatter and makes the whole thing more narrow that my old iPad. Overall a great buy.

I love my Ipad. I wish I had gotten the 64 instead of 32 KB or whatever it is. I take a lot of pictures and play games and downloaded movies so I need to delete a lot of items. I love that I can take a picture and post it to Facebook or email straight from my ipad wherever I am. One of the funnest and best buy I have made in a long time.

My family has an original iPad, iPad mini, iPad Retina Display, and recently purchased this iPad Air 2. The upgrades on the iPad Air 2 are worth spending extra money on. The iPad itself is lighter and more compact while still having amazing camera quality and working at a high speed.

The new iPad Air 2 is lighter and smaller than the original iPads. The screen size appears to be the same, but the surrounding bezel is narrower. The Air 2 is very fast. It has the fastest iPad processor thus far and it uses 802.11ac wifi. Upgrading is easy if you use the iCloud. All of the settings transferred over to the new iPad Air 2 from the old iPad.
