    Extension of your body

This extension of my body goes everywhere with me and does everything for me, starting with the most versatile alarm clock you could ask for, reading the newspaper, checking on banking, listening to music, viewing and sending pictures, checking Facebook, Googling things, checking the weather, getting driving directions, sending and receiving FREE iMessages, scanning UPC bar codes and QR codes even while you're shopping, and downloading free apps for every store, bank, and company you deal with. The camera is higher quality than the ones that only take pictures, and there are dozens of settings you can change whenever you want. I have a different picture and a different ring tone for each contact. It's not heavy, not expensive, and not hard to use. It's almost ideal.

The world is at my fingertips with my iPhone. I constantly use the camera with my family. I'm in touch with business with apps, texts, and the internet. It even keeps my kids occupied when I need them to be.

There are obvious bugs in this phone because it will shut off at random. Even with a full battery. It's other phones just like mine doing the same malfunction which worried me about making it through my contract term. Love Siri options!

What a fantastic phone. Calls are great and dependable. It is a phone first then you can still get excited about the camera, apps and the million other things that it can do. Best and last phone I will ever need or want.

This phone has turned out to be fantastic! The picture quality is amazing, I can hear and see it well, and it's very user friendly even for people that aren't technologically savvy (like myself)!

We bought this phone for my wife, as she was complaining about her iPhone 3G which was running slower and slower, if not crashing altogether. She took advantage of an excellent deal - the phone was $50, with a trade-in for the 3G and ended paying about $9.99 (so long as she signed for a new two year agreement). Neither of us are first generation adopters so these deals work well for us (I also have a 4S but bought mine a while back). A month in and she loves it. Having 'FaceTime' is a big difference and was useful to us when I had to travel to Europe, for keeping in touch economically. She enjoys the increased speed and none of her apps crash any more. The only gripe she had was minor and regarding the screen size, which I think is partially addressed in the more recent iPhone 5. All in all a great upgrade and we are both very happy with her iPhone 4S.

I bought this phone for a family member as an upgrade. It was being offered for $49 so I think it was a great deal --A new I-phone for under 50 bucks was a great deal ---it was not a refurbished, open box etc. The I-phone works great, great call quality, easy to set-up and use, etc. The battery life is decent but it is a smartphone. Easy to sync your I-Tunes to the phone. Overall the user loves the phone. Many apps are available for the phone and if you are an Apple supporter it is a great deal for the price ---you will save quite a bit over the iphone 5. Only major drawbacks I see with this and the Iphone 5 is its thickness and screen size. I great value to buy.

I have owned every iphone that has been developed (including the iPhone5). I find that the iPhone 4S is the best one made by far. The iPhone5 is too long and has the charging and earbuds in same place at the bottom and it is a terrible design. The iPhone4S is the perfect size, speed, and weight that makes this iPhone the best made. From a dedicated iPhone consumer....

I upgraded from a 3GS and I'm very happy with the 4S. Siri, despite its shortcomings, has made things a lot easier for me -- texting, composing emails, web searches, timers, I use Siri a LOT. Being from the South, I've discovered that Siri has a bit more trouble understanding my diction so I've had to make sure I enunciate every word correctly. It's amazing how many "umm's" and "uhh's" have crept into my language. I guess in that regard, Siri is helping me gather my thoughts more fully before opening my mouth. That's a good thing. :)

Other than the phone being fragile, it is easy for them to use for calls, texts, or games. They are used to the interface because of the iPad, so this makes it easy for them to use.

I went from iPhone 3GS to an Android phone and after having both, I really loved the iPhone. I wanted the iPhone 5 but for the price I couldn't resist the 4S. I am very pleased with the 4S with very few complaints. Biggest complaint is the HDD size, I really wish I could have gotten at least the 32GB but that was a cost issue and not something with the phone itself. The only real thing is the lack of 4G. But buying an older phone is really to blame. I love the picture quality and the speed of the phone.

I like pretty much everything about the phone. The part that I really don't like is the apps that run in the background. If there was a way to turn a setting off for this it wouldn't be that bad. But if you forget to double click the home button and say you leave your wifi connection then your running up your data and don't realize it until later when it's to late. I wish they never made the whole running app thing. Seems like all it's for is to get more money out of somebody.

The iPhone 4s is another great Apple phone to consider purchasing. The 16 GB is adequate storage for 1000's of pictures and songs but it would be advised to iCloud them to another device to save storage space. With all of the apps. available for iPhones this isn't a great deal of storage but is sufficient for someone that doesn't take advantage of a lot of apps. for playing games. Good choice for the price and for a 1st iPhone.

I upgraded from an iPhone 3GS. The transition to this new phone was smooth. The screen appears sharper, the sound and image quality is great, though I can't really tell if there was improvement there. I had been sold on the idea that the internet speed would be better and it definitely appears that it is. It took me a little while to get the hang of some of the new features, and I haven't yet gotten along with Siri. I probably won't use that much. It's frustrating that she can't learn to understand some simple names and things. I speak in unaccented American English and Siri is not able to understand a last name that begins with "McG...". I also wanted Siri to open the navigation app "Waze", which I often use, but she got confused. She kept recognizing it as "ways" and insisting I don't have such an app. Aside from the problems with Siri, I'm very happy with my new phone and I got a great price because I was eligible for an AT&T upgrade. Oh, and I really am appreciating having a flash camera! The 3GS didn't have one. It also didn't have the capability of taking pictures from both sides of the phone. I'm happy this 4S can.
