Great for music, e-mail, video streaming, etc. I use the Kindle App for reading. The SiriusXM App is great and easy to use. I use the Amazon Prime App regularly. The camera and video capabilities are impressive but have concerns they could chew up a lot of memory.

This is the latest version of the ipod touch. I use it at the gym when I do not want to take my phone. By adding lots of memory I can download large numbers of photos and songs. The latest version has a very sharp display and is slim. I do recommend a cover if you use this at the gym or somewhere where it can be damaged.

I replaced a 2nd generation 32 gb ipod that has served me well in all of my travels. I upgraded to the 64 gb version so I could coordinate it with my ipad. When I travel I sometimes just need something small. It carries my data, music, and presentations in my pocket. I hope to get as many years of use out of this one as I did my last.

Works well and love the storage space. There is a bit of a response delay which can be irritating. Maybe a software bug to be worked out. I notice it just a bit when first using it each time I awake it. Anyhow, great product. Almost don't need a phone.

I bought the ipod touch 64gb MP3 player 5th generation for my 13 year old daughter as a Christmas gift. She loves it. It was easy enough for her to use on her own. Best Buy had the best price around for this model. We are very happy with not only the product but the customer service we receive every time we shop here.

It's still wrapped waiting for Christmas Day , ask again after the 25th. Sound quality will depend on the speakers I plug it into. Its his second I-pod so ease of use will be good. It's got the fearures he wanted, so I guess they are good too. I picked out the 64 gig part so I hope there's enough storage. You can't put a 10 inch screen on a 4 inch device so the screen is just right. I will be getting screen protectors and cases so it should be safe. Don't know about the camera yet ,but if it's as good as my friends I-phone it'll be fine.

Apple does make durable products. I had an iPod from 2008 that would not sync with the blue tooth in my new car. It still functions well, and I'll probably take it on walks/trips, but I wanted to play music in the car. Enter the 5th generation iPod with $50 off for Black Friday. It was a great deal. It's essentially an iPhone without the ability to make calls off of WiFi. It includes a speaker and has great functionality. I hear the next generation due out in early 2015 will be even faster - but if you use an iPod mainly for music, this is an excellent option with flexibility. Wait until these go on sale when the new ones enter the market. The only slight hassle was that this must have sat on the Best Buy shelf for awhile. It came loaded with an older iOS, so I had to load the new software. It took about an hour.

I really love my IPod 5th generation. So easy to use and love all the features on it. I went with the 64GB and this is more than i will ever use, but it is nice to know that it is there if i ever have the need for this much memory.

Bought to replace iPod Classic. Loaded with my favorite music and audiobooks. Connect by Bluetooth to car radio. Works well though some functions are not available on car touchscreen.

It's a must have with everything you would want to carry around, music, pictures, videos and great storage space.

It doesn't hold as much music as my classic did but it makes up for that because so far it fits all my music. It's like a second iPhone for me because the blue tooth. I say go buy it today if you need a way to communicate with people without buying a telephone contract.

Lots of space, easy to operate. If you're familiar wit the iphone it's basically an iPhone minus phone calls and data. Only complaint is that it's super light and small.

The iPod touch 64GB MP3 player (5th Generation) is the best iPod for me as a runner. I run 60 miles a week and this iPod keeps the music I listen to fresh. My last iPod was a classic 160GB and it was heavy.

Elegant mobile device that does what it is meant to do, in my case to listen to music. Coupled with Wadia 101 transport and Musical fidelity DAC, it delivers a high end audio. This is the reason I bought this unit. Other advantages are similar things you can do with your computer.

I accidentally washed my old 4th generation iPod. Oops. I ordered the new 5th generation to replace it. All my music and videos transferred to the new one, seamlessly. I like the slightly larger size, I like that it has a flash for the camera. Still great mp3 player. The only negatives I have to say about it is Apple does not include a manual and they changed the way you close an app. The biggest drawback to me was changing to the 'lightning' plug. My dock for my stereo and my portable Bose are no longer functional. The manufacturer of the dock does not have one to support the 5th generation and I highly doubt Bose does either. If Apple had to have an oddball connector (vs USB) they should NOT change to ANOTHER oddball connector.

My daughter wanted an iPod even though she already has an iPad. I was afraid she would not use both, but she loves the portability of the iPod.

Bought for my dad who travels frequently, perfect for long flights as the battery last for a long time and charges quickly. iTunes is extremely easy to manage even for a technologically challenged older man.

Love this iPod. Very easy to use and I had no problem with downloading music onto it and I found it nice that I could get my previous apps installed on it
