I love it for gaming and just basic things, but I am having trouble finding a laptop case that I like. The size is the one thing that has been inconvenient. Other than I love this Laptop! Stays cool and has not given me one hiccup!

Awesome laptop if you are a gamer or a video editor. Has hdmi for presentations and hooking up to the tv. all and all its is an amazing laptop. I havent had any problems with it. had it for about 2 months now. Anyone using this for gaming LoL runs at almost 200fps on max settings, if that says anything.

I bought this computer to play online games exclusively. It is powerful enough to play an MMO on one tab and web surf on another tab at the same time. So far so good.

This laptop is great, runs every game I throw at it with highest settings. Cooling is fantastic. Screen is bright and sharp. Highly recommended to anyone that just needs to have the power.

Overall I am satisfied with the PC, however, even after reducing the touch pad sensitivity, if I barely touch it while working in any document/program, the system starts opening other windows, very annoying. I do love the big screen.

First thing I did was buy a new HDD and an OEM cy of Windows 7. I then went to http://forum.maxgeeks.net/showthread.php?t=161 which gives a step by step guide for converting/loading Windows 7. Zippo-bango ASUS with WIn 7. Wolfenstein The New Order is Phenomenal!

I had the first generation ASUS gaming computer and was very pleased with its performance and gave that to my son as he needed a gaming laptop. I waited three yes for ASUS to come back with this type of gaming system and it was worth the wait. Awesome computer.

This is our third Asus laptop and is one honkin' machine. With my 42 years of IT work, and wife starting and owning a tech company we've seen quite a variety of machines. The Asus machines are solid quality systems. We've not had any problems we didn't cause ourselves. Bought this one because I spilled a Coke in the last one. Thought it was dead, but it revived and survived. I had already purchased the latest. Trying to be open minded about Win 8 though. Considered installing Win 7 in a dual boot system. This machine could handle that easily. Especially nice feature is the second drive bay for more capacity, could easily become two terabyte of onboard storage. Processor is lightning fast.

It works great. Connects to my wifi good and I am quite a ways away from the router. So far the only complaints were the sharp edges on the corners where my wrists would rub when I typed. But sandpaper fixed that.

Great gaming laptop for those that don't want to spend a lot of money. Does everything I need it to do without any issues.

ASUS has always had decent products, and this laptop is no exception. The keyboard is phenominal, the display is sharp and clear,and it's quite powerful, being able to run most of today's games. The only setback is the 5400 RPM hard drive. A lot of space, but not the fastest access to that data. It's also a bit heavy, but most gaming laptops are, so that should be expected.

I bought this device for my son. He compared it to the Alien gear computer and this device has better specs and costs hundreds less. He plays games on it and is planning to use this for High School.

Super gaming laptop and it blows my IMac away, no comparison.

For me its good at everything though there's a lot of gaming laptop out there... This one is best for begginers. I really like those large screen though :p...

I bought it for my youngest son to get him off dads computer. He loves it! It's light and portable without a big bulky charger. He mainly just youtubes, plays mincraft and watches Netflix , so it gets the job done.

I had to return the first one I purchased because there was a problem with the graphic card. Although the internet download speed is slow, it is a great laptop for gaming.
