I'm a college student who needs a laptop that is portable and runs cad and coding languages. So far it's been a huge improvement compared to my last laptop and I'm very impressed. In terms of gaming, I'm not that picky on specs or how well things run as long as it doesn't lag. All my games have been running smoothly minus Monster Hunter World (on medium settings). My voice with an earbud mic also seem to be worse compared to my previous laptop, so hopefully there isn't an issue with the headphone/mic jack. But the laptop mic itself seems to be pretty good so I've been using that. I know people have commented on the fan volume. And yes it is quite loud. There are three options:silent, performance, and turbo, and so far I've left it on silent as it is a lot quieter compared to performance and turbo. One of my complaints is that since there are vents on the sides, all the input ports are pushed forward. So if you don't have much space on your desk, things/wires might get in the way of your mouse mobility.

Very good purchase, quick on and off, responds incredible to the internet and complies with more than expected, but I had to return it because the keyboard is for gamers and it was uncomfortable for me, but I do recommend it.

Pros: 1. High-quality assembly 2. Size 3. Not too noisy Cons: 1. One color backlit keyboard and is not perfect 2. Keyboard font could be better - hardly readable especially in the dark 3. No front camera 4. Processor could be more powerful I recommend using an external keyboard along with a big screen.

This gaming laptop was pretty much everything I wanted and more. After looking at quite a few different laptops at this price range I chose this one for a few reasons. 1) it has very good build quality. Ives used tuf laptops before and they have lasted a long time without any problems because of their sturdy build quality. This one does not disappoint it has an aluminum lid with nice smooth and sturdy plastic chassis. It is very light and thin. 2) it has very good gaming performance the 4 core cpu might throw off some people but don’t be deceived , it has extraordinary single core performance and works very good in all games I’ve tried, while it may slightly bottleneck a gpu like the 3070 it works great with the 3060. Combined with the Lower power spec of the cpu and large battery the computer can easily last 8-9 hours with web surfing and video playback. Last thing to mention is that the laptop stays very cool. While gaming on max settings in most games I stayed within the 60-70 degree range while most gaming laptops will got above 80-90. So all together the great performance, battery life, build , and cooling make this a steal at the price.

This laptop is pretty good for the price. It's one of the cheaper 3060 options, especially with 16 GB of ram and 512 GB nvme and a 144hz adaptive sync panel. I don't think you'll find a better price at those specs currently (excepting of course potential black friday deals or something). But that doesn't come without some faults. I'm going to talk about the things I dislike about the laptop. The battery life is of course the very first of those things. Don't get me wrong, I would not expect stellar battery life from a gaming laptop, but I do feel like it should be able to get better than it does. Especially when not gaming. It has an integrated intel iris igpu that it switches to when you aren't doing anything in a game. With the 3060 essentially powered off there is no reason a modern day laptop should not be able to achieve at minimum 10 hours just browsing the web and watching youtube. However, even with something like that this laptop achieves a paultry 5 - 6 hours. While gaming, you are going to be lucky to get 2, that number though I expect to be that low without having a behemoth of a laptop with giant battiers that make it illegal for air travel lol. Moving on, the keyboard on this laptop could be better. It's "fine". But the keys feel a little mushy. Not the satisfying activation you get from most modern laptops with chiclet style keyboards. I don't really care about the backlighting, but it's also worth noting for those that do care that it does not have RGB backlighting. Only a single green color. I find that really surprising. The trackpad is also just fine. It's a little smaller than I'd like for it to be, and for whatever reason is missing a lot of the standard gesture support. There is no gesture you can do on it that I can find to go back on a web page for example. Most laptops support either a double finger back swipe motion, or triple finger back swipe to go back on a webpage. Cooling of the laptop is descent. Even while playing intense games both the CPU and GPU stay relatively cool for a laptop. However, I do really really hate the side exhaust vents. If you use a mount (and I'm going to assume you do if you are gaming on this thing) your hand is going to get blasted with hot air coming out of the side of the laptop. They really should have made it so that all of that hot air gets pushed out the back of the laptop instead of the sides... Lastly, the outside finish. While this laptop is built really well and sturdy, the outside finish annoys me a bit. It looks nice... but keeping it clean is next to impossible. It's a very smooth finish that is a finger / hand print magnet. I really wish they would have went with a matte or some kind of textured finish to hide these. I can't put the laptop in and out of my carrying bag without getting imprints of my entire fingers where I grabbed the laptop at to slide it out. This finish is on the top (back of the display) of the laptop, as well as the area around the keyboard where you'd rest your palms while typing. All of that said, I do still think this is a great choice if you are in the market for an affordable gaming laptop. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking to spend less than $1200 on a laptop.

Good laptop, very fast, with an fantastic purchase price for a 3060 chipset (otherwise unattainable for desktop builds for months). Exceptional graphics quality smoothly driving ultrawide 1440p monitor. A bit too much on the heat however. A cooling pad is definite plus. If it was me, I would make the laptop a bit taller and let it cool easier. It really works hard to stay cool. However - the cooling system only really kicks in during gaming, but when it does - it gets fairly noisy and hot pretty quick - usually within 15-30 seconds of any game starting up. It would be 5stars if it cooled easier and without as much noise. Seems solid enough that I passed on any enhanced warranty support agreements.

For its price, the laptop can handle most of the popular games currently available. Granted, I don't see myself playing all the time, but you can smoothly run games like Overwatch, Dead by Daylight, Guilty Gear, GTA, and HALO at high. The downside is that the fans would be very loud depending on how high you run them. Battery life can last pretty long while watching Twitch streams or shows while doing assignments too. If you are considering on getting this laptop, I woukd say to get it when it is on sale to get more value out of your buck. At full price, however, I suggest to wait and see how the newer laptops are that's coming out the following year.

Outstanding value for an RTX 3060 laptop. Even though it is only a quad perfomance almost equals the much lauded G14. Intel is NOT out of the game as AMD fans claim. The Tiger-lake 11370h is nearly as fast as Amd 4900hs 8 core and claims the single core crown yet it is just a 4 core chip..

Works very well, however the Keyboard’s build quality could be better, some of the keys get stuck, not from outside materials but just from regular use. Battery Life isn’t the greatest even on battery saver.

Good for what I needed it to do, easy to add in additional nvme card but if you truly want to game and have something that will last, I advise just saving some extra money for a bigger expenditure.

Great laptop for the money. The 3060 is much better than the last 2060 for basically the same price. Battery life on this computer in airplane mode is amazing at around 12 hours. I haven't had any issues so far and it handles Black ops Cold War no problem.

Pros: powerful and portable machine, long battery life, sleek look, good build quality, 144hz IPS screen, includes NVME drive and upgradable NVME slot, TB4 port is welcome, good port selection Neutrals: 250 nit might not be bright enough. I find it's good for indoor usage, struggles a bit outdoors (but I dont use it outdoors often), no numberpad (this is a feature i somewhat miss on standard 15" devices), Intel i7 (performs very well and helps with the battery life significantly, but Ryzen would've been nice here) Cons: no webcam, ~3ms response time (it feels like it at least), loud when fans are maxed, 512GB of storage almost requires an upgrade

I found this laptop after looking for one in my price range for a few weeks. After feeling as though I had decided on an option, I was browsing Best Buy when I found this model in stock for the first time since I had begun looking. I decided to jump on it while it was available and am glad that I did. The specs for this laptop speak for themselves. It is not the highest end laptop on the market, but it is still rather powerful. The i7 isn't on the same level as the Ryzen9 models I was considering, but it is no slouch for processing. The 16GB RAM that it comes with is a nice bonus since a lot of laptops, even in this range, come standard with only 8GB. The RTX 3060 was what really pulled me to this model. Most of the competitors to this laptop don't have anything from the 30xx range of cards. It obviously isn't the highest tier available, but it is equal to or better than any of the 20xx options from what I could find. Definitely a big plus for the price. It would have been nice if it included more storage out of the box, but that isn't anything that's difficult to upgrade. It only has two m.2 slots, no 2.5in bay. However, the lack of a 2.5 inch bay allows it to stay smaller in size. The extra m.2 slot still allows for easily adding more storage space. The thing which stands out to me the most about this model is the cooling. It is amazing at keeping the laptop cooled off. I have tried to push this thing to its upper limits to monitor the CPU temps and cannot get them to pass 83 degrees C. The GPU barely breaks 60C no matter what I try. The cooling on this is astounding and I am thankful that I don't see a need to undervolt the CPU so far. The screen looks beautiful. It may only be 144Hz, but there is rarely a need for a higher refresh rate unless you are competitively gaming and you need to be on a desktop if you're going to be doing that. The keyboard feels very responsive and is easy to adapt to. I do wish that it had RGB lighting for the keyboard, but it is a small price to pay to get such a good laptop for this price. While this is a lot of money to spend on a laptop, it is worth the investment if you need a reasonably powerful computer. I have a custom built PC and needed something that could handle a range of programs with occasional gaming on the go. This can handle anything I can throw at it so far with zero issues. Well worth the money.
