It is always good to have a hard copy, plus, after the download, you have a online copy as well. The disc set that I bought made it easier to download and faster to download. Overmore, the disc set was on sale on Best Buy so it was a little cheaper than online purchase at that time. Too good to pass up.

I bought PC and Xbox 360 version. First off, graphics are amazing. I thought the game play was smooth and easy to play as well. Some people have said the single player campaigns were either boring or unrealistic. I don't think they're boring, maybe unrealistic, but entertaining. I haven't done a ton of multi-player but what little I have done I've enjoyed. I'll say this - i have no regrets with my purchase, i'd recommend it for anyone interested in some war action. I have my PC hooked up to my surround sound with 2x 24" Samsung monitors. The game plays amazing for me on a i7 2600k with 16 gig ddr3 corsair ram, OCZ Vertex 4 256gb ssd, and a AMD Radeon 6950 2GB Sapphire flex card (which is below specs game is calling for) on max settings. The surround sound doesn't seem to work properly which i am trying to resolve. My PC streams full Dolby 5.1 for everything but this game.. Can't seem to figure out why, but other than that its a lot of fun. It does have some crash issues that will surely be fixed in upcoming patches.

GRAPHICS ARE AMAZING, BUT ONE PROBLEM IS THE STORYLINE IN CAMPAIGN MODE. SEEMS LIKE JUST WHEN YOUR INTO THE ACTION, IT TAKES YOU RIGHT INTO THE STORYLINE YET AGAIN WHICH CAN BE LONG AND ANNOYING. FOR MULTIPLAYER ITS THE BEST RIGHT NOW!!

First of all, if you're buying this game to play the campaign, and you truly don't care about multiplayer (pretty much like me on consoles and almost all PC games I ever owned), then give this one a pass. The campaign is short, heavily scripted so there's no freedom. There are a few moments in the game where you actually choose something, but it doesn't make much of a difference because it's a linear game. As for the story on the campaign, well, it's the usual US versus the Communists (Russia alone got old on BF3 so this time we have... CHINA TOO!), and your character, along with his squad, are on a mission to prevent a full-scale war from happening and terminating everybody who opposes to that. The Multiplayer is something I took a very long while to start getting used to it. I ran BF4 on a 9800GT so the low settings were literally ruining me, as I couldn't spot players too far away, meanwhile they could get a HS on me from 5mi away on a AK-47 with sniper scope. The maps are different from BF3, this is kinda nice, but there are more useless things to learn (and I feel like an old dog on this one, so I hate learning maps every year). The multiplayer used to be buggy, as in, someone can shoot you through a wall but you can't shoot them back because they're behind a wall. And last but not least, the thing I hate the most about battlefield games: If you aren't an early adopter, you WILL suffer on multiplayer. Why? Because the older players will have better weapons, with all the attachments and mods to reduce or nullify the ridiculous recoil on some rifles, etc. and better aids to hunt you down from very long distances. Meanwhile you get bad weapons to start and you simply can't be as accurate as they are, so you have to rely on close quarters shooting to score some kills and move ahead.

I really enjoy this game. It's one of the most realistic FPS I have played to date. When I first got it I was having some problems with crashing but after a game update and some adjustments to my video card drivers, it seemed to resolve. My one gripe with the game is the web-based server engine seems a little slow for my liking. Other than that, great game

Overall, this battlefield is great. The graphics, game content, multiplier, and the campaign are very good. However, their are a few bugs i have noticed in the multiplier. I will still play the game even though I still see a few bug.

I loved this game on the ps4 and recently just bought a gaming PC. I saw this for $7 for the PC. this is a great fps and has good online for multiplayer. the graphics are pretty amazing and the game play is pretty decent. I didn't play the campaign mode so I can't comment on that. Overall its a really good game

liked BF4 when I started it, it seemed like a good and polished game. Naturally I just hopped into multiplayer, played a few matches and everything went pretty well. Later right after I shot down a helicopter with a stinger, my game just froze. I thought it was just my x-box, so I turned the game back on and played a few matches and it did it again. Now I was infuriated! I scanned reviews on amazon, and sure enough, other people where having this problem. PLEASE FIX THEESE FREEZES EA1!!!

All the game today have to be installed via online. Battlefield 4 starts updating automatically and complains when you try to stop it. I have usage limits on my ISP and lots of lag. The companies don't seem to understand not everybody has 50 Mbps and unlimited download. As for graphics my computer doesn't even breathe hard set at ultra. But one thing is unless you are good at finding patches and hacks the game won't let you customize the graphic & sound settings in a 32 bit OS.

Love the game! In fact love the whole series! Like all games it has it's issues. Not a fan of DL only games, Definitely not a fan of set spawn points or base attacking, and once again helicopters are nearly un-killable even with AA. The graphics, ability to go prone, ranking and advancement system and cool new gadgets add greatly to the enjoyment of the newest BF offering.

Battlefield 4 has stepped up the graphics from BF3. Much better all around visually. The playability is similar to BF3 but with the new visuals it is even more immersive. BF4 is geared more towards the Conquest rounds which is unlike BF3 (which was a good balance between Conquest and Rush). The Premium expansion (purchased separately for around $50.00 US) is really a must have for the full enjoyment of the game. Like, BF3, this is a war game and not intended for young children as the intend it to kill other players in the game on the opposite side.
