I purchased our membership in early October and have used it, gratefully and successfully, many times already. We are in our late 70s, purchased a new computer etc and while somewhat computer saavy, Geek Squad's assistance, patience and expertise getting us set up and running took the stress right out of it! Its a relief and comfort to know they are but a phone call or store visit away.

Peace of mind and able to breathe easier. My mother was a victum of identiy theft, scared and already so much financial loss-I felt it was hard to see what our next step should be. The geek squad with best buy was very quick, professional and handled our situation with care and success. Thank you guys for your service, we will continue to use you.

I don't typically purchase extended warranties or subscribe to membership offers, however, I am glad that I opted to join the Best BuyTotal Membership plan. Within the first 30 days I have been able to get great service from the Geek Squad on numerous tech items! They added memory to my computer, backed up 2 old computers and transfered information from to my new. They helped me with new external storage, with my watch, phone and earbuds. The technicians were friendly and fast! I have a couple other "projects" and plan to use this service to its max!

The membership is good if you buy something that would need protection, as you will receive 24 months protection with your Membership if you stay a member for the entire 24 months. However, some of the better benefits are no longer offered (free delivery, free installation and free haul away), which is not great. Geek Squad benefits are good.

I’m really glad I chose the Best Buy service plan when I purchased my product. It has given me total peace of mind. When something went wrong, the process to get it fixed was simple and stress-free. The team was professional, friendly, and fast — they explained everything clearly and handled the repair without any hassle. What I appreciate most is that the plan covers issues I never would have thought about, and it really saved me money compared to paying out of pocket. It feels great to know that if anything else comes up, I’m covered. Definitely worth the investment, and I’d recommend it to anyone buying new electronics.

I never always buy at Best Buy Port Arthur, so that I can get the Geek Squad help if I need it. I forgot to do this review at the time, but now that I just bought a new (expensive) laptop, I want to share my experience about why buying Total Tech is the smartest move you will ever make. Update to a recent purchase and why I highly recommend Total Tech: My new laptop, a Lenovo Legion Pro 5i, rates an A+, but it would not have without the Geek Squad, which was amazing! I cannot praise them enough for getting me through a difficult setup. Microsoft is being so intrusive now days that the average person is at their mercy to setup a device in a way that is acceptable and which successfully minimizes Microsoft's outrageously aggressive promotion of their products. Truly, as far as I am concerned, my Total Tech cost paid for itself with this one purchase because I more than likely would have returned this $2,000 laptop (hey, don't judge, it was the only model with the ports I needed) if it had not been for the professionalism, friendliness, knowledge, and patience of Jacob (Geek Squad Tech), Emily (Geek Squad Manager), and Michael (the employee who set me up with Jacob). They were all beyond amazing. I am a granny who has had a horrible few years (lost my husband after a horrendous 5 year struggle with aggressive dementia), and I struggle to cope with any stress these days. The Geek Squad employees at Port Arthur, Texas, just did everything they could to minimize my stress. I just cannot tell you how much I appreciated them. So, yes, the Lenovo Legion gets 5 stars, but it was because the Geek Squad gets 10. I HIGHLY recommend the Port Arthur Geek Squad and Best Buy Port Arthur, and, now that they did their magic to configure and customize my laptop, I am thrilled with it as well. Truly, getting Total Tech (for several years now, even while struggling to stay in my home while my husband was ill) was one of the best decisions I EVER made! I love this membership. The value is great for the help we have had for our computers and phones. We get check-ups a couple times of years and the Geek Squad is able to help clean up our devices and gives us recommendations without pressure. I would purchase the protection plan for ease of mind. I am always skeptical of purchasing such plans, however this plan has been a benefit for us as we have purchased it three years now. I highly recommend it, even if you are well versed with the ins and outs of electronics.

This team is the best I have ever encountered. I’ve been a Totaltech member for three years and Geek Squad for 5-years before that. I call them primarily to help me out with technical issue with either my laptop or my printer or my phone. They are polite, easy to talk with, and they in turn are easily understood making sure that you’re completely satisfied before ending the connection. We enjoyed a bonus this year when we bought a major appliance and found that because we we’re Totaltech members we enjoyed an additional discount as well as free delivery and set up & an additional year on the warranty.

This membership is a real value for anyone especially senior citizens. The Geek Squad is the best and I can depend on them for help. They've already helped in a big way in transferring photos from my old desk top to my new Lenovo Idea Pad and the cost was included in my membership. The membership was a wise decision on my part. I had a laptop failure and originally did not think of going to Best Buy. I contacted a local computer store and it was going to take a week before they'd even look at my PC. I am so glad I remember Best Buy. They got me in and running quickly. They were very professional and took a look while I was there to see if it was something they could handle quickly. I ended up having to leave my PC and within a few days it was fixed. I ended up having another issue a few months later - my drive failed - and so I went back again. They again did a nice job. I really like that they schedule appointments and can accept walk-ins. I never had to wait very long for assistance. I highly recommend this service!!! They make a frustrating event less painful!!

I can not rant enough about this! I have always used AT&T’s “protection” plan for years. Until I needed to use it and got charges an extra $300 for a fix on the Z fold flip screen. Then after it was sent in, we got a refurbished, different color phone. Once I switched to Best Buy total, I have NO worries that the will protect my devices and services! Will never go back to using any type of insurance or protection plans from AT&T!!!

Have not had a membership for long. The Geek Squad has been very supportive. My recent purchase of a printer was placed to be picked up, Later told the item was out of stock. Had to change to shipping it home and waited for three days to receive it. will contact technical support for assistance.

I have been delighted with the customer service - ie the professionalism of the attendees in the Geek Squad in the State College, PA store. This autumn, the helpers - male and female were comfortable with themselves and the public, knowledgeable and were open to questions and repeated explaining. I purchased a total tech package in response to my good experience.
