My wife and I went into a Best Buy store in Santa Clarita. There were so many incredible items and as much as we would love to have bought the store and everything in it we set up for and a home computer. The customer service was instant, personable, and professional. I could go on and on about how wonderful Best Buy store and deals have have impacted our lives and most impressive and positive way. We will be back again soon for sure. Thank you for being an incredible addition to our life.

Overall, the Membership is a real money-saver. If you bring in what needs to be checked out, it covers just about anything. If you need an in-home expert, it's cheaper if you have a membership. One drawback with BestBuy: They have zero phones in the store. You can't contact a salesperson to ask about availability, and you can't contact the Geek Squad. You MUST go to a store in-person. Not my idea of customer service.

This has paid for itself since ive had it. It has been valuable and has many different uses and perks with your purchases. It is a little pricy but i like knowing all my tech and purchases are covered automatically with warranties. Also, I took advantage of free appliance install and haul away. I also had to bring in and unlock a laptop that had been given back to me by an employee who wouldnt let me recover their password. This normally would be $100.00 but was included with membership and so is Geek Squad support 24/7. Overall this is a good value if you shop at Best Buy fairly often.

I will get value from this purchase. I am not a computer guru so I need frequent help. I expect that I will be able to get timely appointments throughout the year so that I can learn more about my new computer and the applications on the computer. I already had a chance to use the membership in order to clear a virus that was on my old computer. I plan to go back and learn more about how to use the Windows 11 application. So far the people have been helpful and patient.

I recently purchased some items that are fairly high value and wanted to protect them. Considering most items come with some sort of manufacturers warranty you may question whats the point? I'll tell from my experience its 100% worth it. For instance you buy a TV and something goes wrong the burden to get it shipped to a certified repair center falls on you. I also figured Individual protections for things I was expecting to buy over the course of the year would add up. This protection not only covers all items purchased for two years but offers discounts for its members on certain products as an added benefit. When I've had to return items due to issue with a product returns to the store have been seamless for me. I originally thought the coverage was to pricey for me the value outweighs the cost.

The Geek Squad membership is everything. The protection that is better than insurance. The technicians will assist with all your home devices and answers to even my dummest questions. They help me to feel smarter when I go in for help. Love this ❤️

1st: Although I get it, I dislike that out of all the things I've been reviewing (made a lot of big purchases lately) this is the ONLY one that gives "suggestions" on what to say in the review. Dear BestBuy, don't ask for honest reviews on other companies products and then try to load my lips on your product. That being said, I do think this is a great value if you're planning on making any large purchases. This product was less than 1 protection plan on some of my items, so getting the protection plans automatically is worth it alone.

I honestly think the Totaltech membership is a great service provided by smart people that add a lot of value when it comes to different technology items that might become defective. I do know this service is great for the installation of operating systems, thus it can be very useful in case you have a laptop or a desktop that's over two or three years old. If you're not on a budget like I am, and if you're not extremely tech savvy, I would even consider maintaining this as a permanent service, because there's so many features and help that you can get just by chatting or with the call or use of a phone. The discounts provided also make it a very useful and an excellent product or service to add to your list of yearly memberships. I highly recommend the addition of Totaltech membership to your list services. It can save you both time and money.

Its been a strange process but i understand that they are launching this new program so its still in testing mode. -not sure about the difference with geeksquad. I thought this insurance would replace it but apparantly it doesn't? Geeksquad still has some benefits that this one doesn't? i don't fully understand and wish they could explain this better.

One of the best purchases that I have made. I read it over and thought it would be good for the discount on the large purchase I was making then I read about the extended warranty coverage. Definitely worth it for the peace of mind as well as the discounts as I am a regular Best Buy customer. I like Best Buy's customer service and prices and the membership is a plus.

Especially valuable to me with my home built PC and wanting occasional support for that when the odd software disagreement happens after a major update. At first, I was hesitant because the extra money seemed an awful lot on top of my purchase… But in hindsight, it saved me a lot of money now with my Apple products and computer parts.
