All I can say about this scanner is that if you have any reservations about buying, just buy it. You won't regret it! It scans pretty quickly and accurately. I have only used my to scan documents at 300 dpi. It takes about 7 seconds for a single letter size sheet. A full color photo at 600 dpi will obviously take longer. I think this scanner is best suited for documents since the max resolution is only 600 dpi, I like the fact I can scan directly onto the included SD card then transfer the SD card to my laptop. Yes, you can scan directly to your computer via WiFi or the included USB 2.0 cable. I love how good this little thing works!

This thing is my absolute favorite new gadget. I take it with me everywhere, and I'm able to scan in notes or meeting minutes instantly. You can access your documents by connecting via USB or making the device a wifi access point. Quality of scans is pretty good, obviously not as good as professional-grade scanners, but does great. Figuring out setting can be a little difficult, especially for two-sided scanning, and it is a good idea to calibrate the device early and often. Other than that, perfect device for staying organized!

Love the size, and simplicity of use ... easy to set up, works quickly, quietly ... travels easy in a pouch that comes with the scanner.

We had one of these before, but needed to get a replacement because the on-board USB connector broke due to a pretty bad fall while the cable was attached. However, it worked really well for a portable scanner and was worth replacing. It handles duplex scans in BW, Greyscale, or color and can scan to an SD card if needed. It can easily be connected to a PC through a MicroUSB connection. The scanner claims to be wireless, but this is only if you connect your computer to the scanner as an access point. It doesn't mean that you can join the scanner to your network and use it that way. I've never tried this because it's easier just to scan to SD card or use the MicroUSB connection.

purchased to take to family member homes to copy family photos, but need to use a plastic film jacket(recommended) but gets a better copy when not used, and the settings have to be adjusted to improve them,

Great scanner, Wireless, portable and easy to use. Great for small spaces and reliable speed. Multiple choice for scan files and photos.

Scanning is a bit slow, but for those of us who need the convenience of portablility, it's great.

The 920 was better than I expected, however, it would be nice if the jpg/pdf choice would be on screen instead of on the unit. The ON/OK function takes a while to get used to. Software was an added surprise as it worked with an older Xerox scanner that I have that Xerox no longer supported. They suggested I purchase a new one. Kudos to Brother!

Portable, good work, easy to set up and use. It is fun!!!

Works great, super portable. Scans are clear and it's easy to use. Only complaint... when duplex scanning, files are not automatically associated with each other, but that's a software issue.

Worked well but didnt do what I needed it to do, but seems nice.

I've never been so organized! So easy to use, and portable I can scan things anywhere. Or I can plug it in and scan items and have them directly sent to my computer. I can't think of a way to improve it.

i would recommend this to anyone who needs to keep a lot of paper work And is also good for putting receipts on the computer recommend to anyone with a small business

I was looking for a better way to organize my receipts and expenses. I had hoped the scanner would have such software installed but it did not. Even so, it is simple and convieniant to use.

Good buy for a portable scanner. Somewhat cumbersome if you are scanning multiple pages at once. Otherwise, great portability and holds a charge well (as long as wifi is off).

Really enjoy working with scanner, great for work related jobs

I love this scanner. Just feed pictures or document though and scan them straight to your laptop. I have been scanning old family pictures and the quality is great without the hassles of a flatbed scanner.
