I bought MW3 at midnight when it came out. I have been playing solid since then. It is still awesome every time i turn it on! I'm not even close to being bored with it yet like some people do after a few days of playing. The campaign is awesome! Multiplayer is top notch as usual and the spec ops missions are fun too! I have played Battlefield 3 and it was a solid game but i have been playing Cod for years so i'm kinda partial to it. The graphics look amazing on my brand new plasma tv. I would recommend the Monster 1000 HDMI cable to get the best picture and motion smoothness. Overall a great game!!

many of you says that MW3 looks like MW2,so wt?MW2 had an amazing graphics and that means MW3 will have an amazing graphics also.MW3 will be in many place London, Germany, France, America and many more not only in Iraq and Afghanistan like Battle field 3, MW3 will have the best MP for the year and it will better than BF3 MP plus MW3 is more EXCITEMENT than BF3 in it's story line because MW3 will be WORLD WAR 3 not only a stupid war in Iraq, MW3 will have the a best story than BF3 because it war between many countries and we want to know who with who and who we are fighting with Russia, to sum up MW3 will be the biggest game of the year beating BF3 because BF sucks.

I just started playing COD last year with Black Ops, which was great. I love Zombies, the Campaign and the Multiplayer. I bought MW2 as a result, which I found ok. But MW3 is average overall. The graphics and sounds is much better than Black Ops but Spec Ops sucks bigtime compared to Zombies. The Campaign, I would say equivocal, but the Multiple Player actual play, Black Ops is much better. Maps are better constructed in Black Ops. The Perks are better. Guns are better, particularly the Shotguns and Assault Rifles. One thing I do like in MW3 over BlackOps is the Machine Gun pistols and the Sniper guns. I do like the objectives of leveling up guns and such. Makes it more challenging. But, like I said, the maps suck for the most part. MW2 or 3 don't even have a map close to that of the Firing Range, Summit and Nuketown of BlackOps. I could play those 3 maps all day.

COD as most people know is a great game. Since when as Battlefield been better than COD?! Come on! Look back at all the COD games. Since when has it disappointed people?! But I also agree that Battlefield has had great game too. So its completely opinionistic. Though World War 3 vs. another middle eastern war game! COME ON! MW3 will beat the hell out of BF3! Ive played both! They both have great graphics though MW3 has a better storyline. Its up to the people!

I have put my dozen and dozen of hours into this game, and the replay factor is the Multiplayer. Campaign is short and not too exciting, IMO. There are other aspects of this game which has decent replay value, such as Spec ops mode and missions which does not require internet connection. However, the multiplayer aspect is the big draw for this game. Even now there are still many people playing online. However sometimes teams are not matched evenly, and maps are pretty large in size, with only a few ones that people like to play in. Otherwise it is a great FPS play, very smooth and easy to get hooked on.

I jumped on the COD series well after Modern Warfare 2 was out. In fact, I started playing COD just a few weeks before Black Ops. Needless to say, I only ever played online with Black Ops, so can only compare online play to Black Ops. The story line picks up right after MW2 and is engaging enough. The Audio is excellent, and graphics are good. Some of the new additions if noticed in the couple of hours that i've played are: being able to remotely control a small robot equipped with a minigun & grenade launcher & beign able to control a support helicopter & direct fire while in play (similar to the UAVs with missiles in MW2) . I've only played a few rounds online & it is very different from Black Ops. I never played MW 1 or 2 online so I don't know if this is closer to what these two were like. The upgrade system is completely different with upgrades "earned" and not "purchased". The perks are different as well. I have a couple of solder classes to try out the different options. I big difference is that there is a "support class" that allows kills to carry over so that you killstreak count doesn't start over if you are killed. A new deathmatch the makes you pick up the fallen enemies dog tag in order for the kill to count is a new challenge. So far I am enjoying the game. Good story line, same memorable protagonist, and straight forward first person shooter. Looking forward to loosing who knows how many hours of my life to this game.

Modern Warfare 3 is going to be a game that anyone that is into FPS game is going to play it over and over again. One of the good thing about this game is Treyarch is not helping to make MW3. The guys from infinity ward is coming to help with this new Call of Duty game. The graphics is looking good on this game, and the campaign looks like it is going to be really good.

Ok Im a hardcore Modern Warfare 2 person. That game rocks. In my honest opinion Modern Warfare 2 is better than Modern Warfare 3. Although Modern Warfare 3 is a fun game and is slowly growing on me.. I play mainly online. I enjoyed playing the special ops. I had alot of fun playing that. The maps have to many buildings for my taste. The online play youll notice alot of camping. Thats my only complaint for this game. The weapons are nice, the graphics are good. There is no more noob tubing which makes this game great. If you cant aim then you will struggle with this game online. Overall this game is good.

MW3 is a great game. You will read about people complaining and having issues. If you know anything about games in the begging there are bugs and issues. The people downplaying the game are ones who cant handle it. I see some dude talking about how hard it is to get 18 kills.... idk what he is doing but its not right. the graphics are great and so is the audio (turtle beach headset). I play on the PSN and I dont have nearly as many lag out dropped games like i did in black ops. Yes the mic/talking is an issue in Multiplayer. The Spawning system does need to be fixed. Outside of that i dont see any issues with the game. If you have ever liked a COD MW game you will truly enjoy this one.

Warning! Possible Spoilers: If you know about the MW storyline, this one puts the finishing touches to the grand campaign. Great graphics, strong campaign, and addictive multiplayer is why this game gets my approval. If you were a fan of MW2, there's no reason why you shouldn't have this game.

Probably the least fun CoD to date. Don't get me wrong the game is fun when you start, but you'll definitely notice this game to be very repetitive with very little pay off compared to previous titles. They all do get that that point eventually, but I feel like MW3 just hit that point way quicker than any other CoD. The killstreaks don't feel as fun and seem to get shot down way quicker now that people can run support streaks and easily drop SAMs all over the map. Also the enemy team then benefits from destroying your killstreak adding on to their killstreak. It just seems like the point streak system wasn't well thought out and in turn hurts better players and makes the game less satisfying. Though if you're that kid who goes insanely negative every game maybe you'll have fun with support streaks, because at least you get some type of streak other than a death streak. The new game modes, Kill Confirmed, Team Defender, and Drop Zone are pretty fun, but even with those new game modes you come to realize it isn' the maps or game type ruining the game, but the gameplay just doesn't feel quite as good as per-say MW2. Chances are you'll buy this anyway because all your friends are running it and I don't blame you. But this game feels very low effort on the developers part and they aren't even trying to hide their money grubbing DLC/Elite scam. Unfortunately they let their old games get filled with cheaters so that you really can't go back and play the good versions of CoD without a bunch of BS. TL,DR: Meh...sigh. Its a generic shooter game.

Campaign is terrible. In my opinion, the whole "four heroes against the world" might be fun for a level or two, but it's pretty much the entire storyline in this game. Not to mention, the three AI teammates you have can't hit a guy 4 feet in front of them, so it's "one hero against the world." Graphics and audio are great. Gameplay / controls are good. Multiplayer is not laggy at all and the maps are fun. However, I think it's time they start making these games a little more realistic. I can't imagine anyone running at full speed then pulling up their Barrett .50 cal (or comparable) and firing from a standing position at all, let alone with any kind of accuracy. There should be more limitations to the type of gun you are using. And will someone PLEASE add a "mute all" button for multiplayer? It gets really irritating listening to a bunch of idiots talk about nothing, filled with loud static, and having to individually mute each player.

I'm not sure what people's issues are with this game but I think it is awesome. The storyline is great and the graphics are amazing. Yes this is similar to MW1 and MW2. DUHHHH! That's the reason we buy these games...we don't want them to become like Halo and change in to a garbage game. Go buy it. Well worth it. Am looking forward to reserving MW4.

Modern Warfare 3 is definitely worth buying. Does it live up to the hype? Probably not. But it's a solid, fun game. The storyline is unfortunately short as always, but it's fun. The multiplayer is undoubtedly better than Black Ops. Even Spec Ops is a very solid part of this game. I would recommend this to fans and newcomers alike.

COD Black Ops was my first FPS experience, which I bought last Xmas. This year, my brother and I debated MW3 or BF3 and went with MW3. Played just enough of the campaign to unlock the multiplayer, so I can't comment about the campaign but the multiplayer is just okay. Seemed incredible for the first day or so because the sound and graphics are better than Black Ops but then it just became okay. I do really like the weapons progression and the perks/streaks because I'm not the best player and it helps me be more competitive. I also like Kill Confirmed as it's a new twist to the game but other than that, nothing really stands out. One negative is the microphone, which works great on my other games but for some reason doesn't work well in MW3. Am wondering if anyone else has had the same problem? Am wondering if BW3 would have been the here're choice...?

Everyone's giving this game bad reviews, because it's pretty much the same thing as MW2 and Black Ops. While this is true, it's still a fun game, with millions of people playing it. Battlefield 3 and MW3 are different games, but both successful in their own ways. If you like fast paces action, then MW is for you. If you like more realistic settings, then get Battlefield. You can't argue that even though MW2 was frustrating, it had you playing for hours and hours upon end. This game will too. With some new weapons, new maps, new killstreaks, ect. This game is entertaining. So what, the graphics are the same. They aren't that bad at all. The story is still decent, with some new characters and new places. And yeah, Elite is 50.00, but you don't have to sign up for it. I sure as hell didn't. In conclusion, this game is fun, exciting, and adrenaline pumping. You can't really expect anything new after MW1 and MW2 being the same. No it's not perfect. But that doesn't mean you won't play for 6 hours straight the day you buy it.

lags a good bit and kicks you out of a match and says "unable to connect to host" or something to that extent,RE-SPAWN SYSTEM SUCKS! I LITERALLY had an enemy on tdm re-spawn 2 ft in front on me! I have re-spawned with a grenade thrown right at me within a second or less. (because it re-spawns you in the action sometimes). and sometimes bullets don't register, that gets frustrating! HOWEVER,, the time it does work, its an awesome game, endless challenges and attachments and things to unlock and use, this will be better game when they update the online problems.

Game is fun once you learn the levels. Lag is there and sometimes unbearable. Don't know if it's the ps3 headsets or knock offs but chat is bad. All you hear is "what" from clan members. I've been much more dominant but it seems the worse you are the better the lobby is. Last 5 games I have avg 23&8 since switching to an smg which seems superior (why is that?) it was the same in black ops too. Overall I hope they fix the lag because it's not cool to empty a clip into a guy standing there and in a blink of an eye he is behind you and has stabbed you. Yeah, it's that bad sometimes. Oh and for those who are claiming that people complaining just suck you can come challenge me an ill put it to rest. My name is te nickname with an underscore old_testament85

In my opinion, this game gets extremely boring. In the beginning you start out with somewhat hard missions. Then, things get a little exciting. Finally, it starts to get boring. But overall, the graphic,audio are FANTASTIC! It's somewhat challenging but not that hard. Read more reviews before buying this game...

i played mw2 religiously and loved it. not so much with mw3. i only play multi-player so i can comment solely on that. it seems that some people have the 'golden connection' eliminating lag for them but you have no chance as they apparently can see you before you see them......too late....your dead! it's VERY frustrating when there is a guy that is 53-4 yet you can't get 4 kills. that is my main gripe.....make it fair for everyone! also weapon strength is just not realistic. little pistols and sub-machine guns appear to be more powerful than lmg's and assault rifles. what's up with that?!?! numerous times i've emptied half a mag into a guy just to have him turn around and kill me with one shot from a tiny little gun! drives me bonkers! the third most annoying thing are the maps. they have eliminated nearly all medium and long range fighting. if you're not into run and gun with tiny weapons then you WILL NOT enjoy this game. good luck against the sugared-up 12 year olds and late night meth-heads that have no issue with run, run, run. there's just no tactics involved for the strategic player..... aka the older guy. spawn points are horrible. you get spawned right in front of the enemy repeatedly......one good camper gets kill after kill like ducks in a pond.....fix the spawn points! overall i'm pretty unhappy with this game. i'm going to try battlefield 3.
