It prints about 2 seconds for one sided printing. I have a card making program and with my old desk jet printer, I had to turn the paper to get the second page printed. With this Laser printer it does both sides at once. It has one problem, set the settings for one sided printing. It defaults to 2 sided. If you are printing a one sided sheet it will run for sometime before it stops. A minor problem.

Prints fast and seems to be going through toner much slower than ink for my last inkjet. Cost over time should be much better. Was replacing a cartridge on the inkjet monthly. That gets expensive. Looked at other canon laser printers also and ran calculations based on pages per cartridge, cartridge cost, and purchase price to determine break even point. This printer came out on top for the approximate 50 pages per month we use.

Good printer, the print job quality is good. The UI is convoluted and hard to navigate compared to other printers that I have used, even for some simple functions. Very hard to set up though, it took several forum searches and youtube videos etc. to set up scan to email, and it took changing some settings to allow access to "unsecure" apps to google account to finally make it work.

Very pleased with the performance of this printer. I've printed over an inch stack of papers with the toner that came with the printer. Haven't needed to change it out, yet.

If it werent for my super Geeksquad Cindy the printer never would have gotten connected. It took several attempts to find a way to get a connection. She never gave up.

Only down side is the paper tray is very small. Prints/copy and scans well.

After dealing with inkjet printers (trying to keep print heads from drying up, having to replace tiny ink cartridges frequently) for so many years, I sprung for this color laser. I'm only a month in, but already really happy with the quality and functionality of this printer. My only complaint would be that the touch screen is not very responsive, but I don't intend to use it much.

Resizes feeder scans to usb to usable size. Even somewhat directly to my computer. Exactly what I was looking for, as my other all-in-ones scanned at huge file sizes, unless compromising quality. Scanned a 1 1/2" stack of documents to a single email size. Great!! Just wished the paper tray was larger, like the larger Canon model. Won't be my main printer, but cheap scanner.

This printer has saved me so much time. It prints gorgeous color photos straight from my phone and off the computer in seconds. My 120 page old print job would take me at least an hour and now I'm done in 10 min or less!! Amazing Printer and well worth every penny!!
