best feeling keyboard I have typed on. getting numpad on a small form factor is a game changer moving from a full size KB. deducting 1 star as icue support is still in development. it should have launched with it.

The Perfect Keyboard

Price is definitely is up there but I must say this is one of the best keyboards I've laid my hands on. The software at the moment isn't the best but once they get it updated I imagine it'll be fine. The switches feel so nice and the keyboard isn't as sensitive as the K65 Pro. Very precise inputs which makes it feel good for not only gaming but also regular day to day use (school, work, etc.). Overall, I recommend this keyboard and if you are willing to dish out the money for it I don't think you'll be disappointed.

This keyboard is incredible. The magnetic hall effect switches feel smooth and responsive, and Rapid Trigger makes every key press lightning fast. The 96% layout saves space without losing important keys. Build quality is solid, RGB looks amazing, and the typing experience is top-tier. Highly recommend for competitive gaming or fast typing.

As a keyboard it’s phenomenal. The form factor and build quality is really quite nice and pleasing. The keycaps are very high quality PBT and the switches are a delight to type on. Very smooth and thunky. You aren’t getting the experience of a custom linear board with insulation and vibration mounts but it’s good for what it is. My only real complaint is the lack of icue support at the time of writing. Icue web is ok but it’s finicky. And wireless connectivity at this price point should be more widely expected. The screen is big and bright but a bit difficult to see and the size limit for files is kind of small. RGB is subtle and tasteful. The wrist rest is very well shaped and extremely comfortable. One of the best I’ve used. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique Corsair board with tasteful high end design and a good form factor. Just needs better software support.

The CORSAIR VANGUARD PRO 96 is hands down one of the best gaming keyboards I’ve ever used. The 96% layout is perfect—compact enough to save desk space but still gives you all the keys you need. The build quality feels rock-solid, and the magnetic MGX linear Hall Effect switches are unbelievably smooth. Every key press is clean, fast, and consistent.
Rapid Trigger is a complete game changer for competitive gaming. The response time feels instant, and being able to re-activate keys at different travel points makes movement and firing feel incredibly precise. FlashTap SOCD is another standout, giving you reliable input control during high-speed gameplay.
The RGB lighting is bright, vibrant, and fully customizable through iCUE, and the keyboard’s overall design looks premium in black—nothing cheap or flimsy here. Typing on it is just as satisfying as gaming, thanks to the buttery-smooth switches and excellent acoustics.
If you’re a serious gamer or just want cutting-edge performance in a clean, compact form factor, the VANGUARD PRO 96 is absolutely worth every penny. CORSAIR nailed it with this one.

Switches are nice, instant response, RGB is vibrant, and control knob + screen is nice.
Only idea to keep in mind is that it does NOT work with iCUE at the moment. It works with WebHub only but will soon be getting a firmware update according to corssair.

Holy moly, the Corsair Vanguard Pro 96 RGB keyboard? Picture this: it's like a hyperactive alien octopus mated with a rainbow vomiting disco ball and then got adopted by a time traveling ninja squirrel on a mission to overthrow boring desks everywhere! This 96% layout is a freakin' quantum space warping zap! Suddenly your desk has room for a portal to Narnia, your collection of cursed rubber ducks, and that one sock that's been plotting world domination since 2007. The RGB lighting? Oh boy, it's got more shades than a psychedelic chameleon's fever dream, transforming your all nighter coding binges into an interdimensional rave where even your grandma's ghost shows up to boogie and trust me, my goldfish gives it a side eye from its bowl fortress. Those mechanical switches? They're witchcraft level responsive, typing out Shakespearean sonnets before you even think of the words, and tougher than a diamond plated armadillo wrestling a volcano surviving my epic oops, I rage-flipped the table during a Fortnite loss tantrum like a boss. If you're scouring the multiverse for a keyboard that's equal parts mad scientist invention, emotional support animal, and style icon from a feverish meme dimension snag this cosmic beast before it warps reality and keystrokes your soul into eternal bliss! Super duper recommend, or I'll juggle flaming chainsaws while riding a unicycle made of expired cheese (don't ask about my last attempt).

I’ve been using the Corsair Vanguard Pro 96 and overall it’s a very impressive high-end gaming keyboard with a few notable strengths and a couple of drawbacks.
What’s Great:
The magnetic MGX Hall effect switches feel smooth, responsive, and quiet, giving a premium typing and gaming experience
The 96% layout keeps most of the full-size functionality while saving desk space, and the build quality feels solid with nice keycaps and RGB lighting.
Features like adjustable actuation, 8,000 Hz polling, Rapid Trigger, and macro keys make it great for competitive gaming.
Extras like the wrist rest and RGB look sharp, overall feels premium and enjoyable to use.
Common Issues:
The software experience is a sore point — it currently relies on Corsair’s browser-based Web Hub instead of iCUE, I find it clunky, limited, and prone to issues.
I’ve experienced settings not saving, lighting quirks, or glitches when trying to customize features.
Minor hardware/firmware oddities (like key behavior after tuning actuation).

Love the keyboard and how it feels and types. Hall effect keys are nice and has some great features. Problem right now is the software just isn't 100% yet.
Works great out of the box though, but any special customization that requires more than what you can do on the settings screen built in the keyboard is not there yet.

Hoenslty this is a great keyboard. Something a little different due to its hall effect keys. But i mean it is a new thing to keyboards. The feeling is amazing and the responivness is amazing. Only thing is the software which really lacks but it has to be due to it being very recently made. It honestly doesnt deter from it much at all.

I’ll start off with saying I love the compact full sized layout. The switches feel great and there’s so much to love about the keyboard but it’s crippled by bad software. Went through 2 different units that were plagued by keys stuck being registered despite it being full depressed.

I upgraded from a 60% Keyboard, because I needed as much functionality as possible. I went with this keyboard because it has all the keys you need, but it's also good on space. You get hotswappable switches, but the switches supplied are prelubed, and are Hall Effect, and SOUND AMAZING.

love the keyboard it sounds great looks amazing and the dial is a fun twist to the board with many different things it can control but don't be deceived you don't need the corsair icue program you just need the corsair web hub to customize this keyboard i haven't played with the game mode setting but the 1k polling rate is nice for games that may require more precise touch and the 5 programable keys are nice too i haven't done anything with them either

Got this keyboard because I had a gift card. Didn’t think it would be night and day difference from my Corsair K70 RGB. The smaller size helps with fatigue when gaming for more than a few hours and the web interface for changing settings on the keyboard is much better than installing another software that I won’t use often.
