I traded in the open box for a closed box version.....and due to the last experience, paid for the Geek Squad to install the programs, etc. for me as I wanted to make sure this one worked. I also bought their one year maintenance/help, as I was really nervous I would not be able to keep it running. It took 9 days for the Geeks to install the programs and have it ready for me.....they were so backed up. Then they still didn't work. I called the Geeks and waited for an hour and 45 minutes to speak to a technician. It took another day of removing and downloading all the programs, but they did get it up and running. I just think if Best Buy is going to offer help and service and charge for it, they need to staff up better....this computer ended up costing me about $1000 rather than the $659 I thought I'd be getting it for, plus a whole lot of aggravation. But so far, I'm loving it.

first windows touch screen. not as hard as some people say. many things are easy and intuitive. a few bugs and its hard to get used to not having all the normal Microsoft utilities easy to find

My only complaint is Windows 8. This is not a Best Buy problem and I appreciate Best Buy's help and underdstanding. Geek Squad help has been excellent.

This computer was an excellent choice for me, as i was replacing a Toshiba that had fallen apart after less than a year of use. Metal casing in a satin finish is less prone to fingerprints, the touch screen is very responsive and files are quick to load. Having a full keyboard is great too, as I deal with entering numbers often.

I love the backlit keyboard. My older Dell does not have that. I love the touch screen and Windows 8 was not hard to learn.

It's good for me. I like the touch screen which is new for me. Why does the cursor jump to another spot in the middle of typing something?

Didn't think I would like the touch screen but I really do. Images are really clear and sharp. Keyboard is easy to use. Especially like the back light on the keyboard. Really like this laptop. Software takes some getting used to, the different icons but easy to navigate.

I love this computer, it is perfect for school. It runs fast and very easy to use!

i am very happy with the performance with what we paid for the computer. i would suggest this computor to any of my friends for the money.

This laptop is just an all around great product. Performs all functions flawlessly. Finally I can edit my GoPro video without any worries.

It is a great machine, but like I said no cd drive...I understand that is the way of the internet, but, I have a lot of apps on cd and DVD. I had to copy them to USB in order to use them.

The computer meets the basic needs of the family. The touch screen is a cool feature. It does crash when playing newer games because of the processor speed. Overall good for the price.

It's a great powerful machine the performance is good It's just feels little heavy to carry it other then that Value for money

It has a good batter life. The keyboard has two setting for illumination. Nice body style. DVD drive would have been nice. Would be buying an external. Sound is not that great.

Touch screen is great. Love that the keyboard lights up. Downfall is it doesn't have a CD-ROM drive

The i5 will suffice for everyday use. Got a great deal on this one due to being an open box.

Good laptop. It's easy to use its app and programs, but it's a little bit heavy and the display screen reflects too much light.

Negative, it is a heavy computer but it has great pictures, fast and would recommend.
