This is a great monitor, for the value... Let's start right off with the negatives, neither really reduce my rating, but need to be noted - No speakers. That isn't going to be an issue for most gamers, as we all wear headsets, but if you need that in your monitor, this isn't the one you want. - No DisplayPort / Thunderbolt support directly. Only HDMI inputs, so if you need to use one of those popular video connection types, you will need an adapter. - Stand is limited. What you see is what you get, doesn't allow the monitor to be rotate 90 degrees, or a lot of flexibility in height and other adjustments, but the monitor is VESA compatible, so there are hundreds of options out there to do that for you. Now for the good stuff: - This is really slick looking, this is going to look great on any desk, the back is sleek, so even if that is presenting out, looks good. - Easy setup... Dispite the lack of the other popular ports, easy to setup. Plug in, connect HDMi, and you are on your way. No fuss. - Good size for most gaming. You an get to the point to big is too big. this sits right in the sweet spot area, while not taking up a ton of space. Colors are deep and vibrant. Easy on the eyes. The standard brightness and contrast controls are there, so you can tweak to the way you like it. I don't have equipment to measure responsiveness, but from the naked eye, it responds really quick, and perfect for the high paced games that are out now. No USB ports, but no need for them either. just get yourself a usb hub if you need more connections

Had this monitor for less than 30 days and it developed a vertical line top to bottom. Not Best Buys fault, I believe it to be a manufacturer problem and will be returning to store.

This gaming monitor is a well rounded one. It displays a 1920 x 1080p with a refresh rate of 75 Hz. It is AMD Free Sync compatible and is at a good price range. This monitor does not have much in the way of a bezel either except at the bottom where you find the Dell logo and has a simple but sturdy plastic stand. This also has 2 HDMI ports. Setting this up is as easy as any other monitor. You will slide the neck of the stand into the back of the monitor and then neck onto the base. You are ready to set it up to the computer. You will plug the HDMI cable (included) into the back of the monitor and then your computer. Lastly, plug in the power cord into the back of the monitor and into an outlet. There is a tilt to the stand of this monitor so that you can set it to just the right angle for your viewing pleasure. A nice feature with this monitor is the IPS technology which gives the same colors at just about any viewing angle. AMD FreeSync is a plus as there are no real image “jerkiness” and play seems pretty smooth. If you do not like that blue light you get from most electronics, this has “ComfortView” which helps reduce that. I recommend this monitor if you don’t have a lot of space for a larger monitor and like playing games. It works well with the games I have played on it. I recommend this Dell monitor. It is a well known name and for the price of this quality monitor it is worth it.

I purchased this based on another person's purchase of the same product. Works as should but nothing above and beyond to make it a five star.

The Dell monitor is a great addition to my laptop setup. The monitor is 23.8 in diagonally, 21.2 inches across, and 16.3 inches high. It weighs about 8.5 pounds. It’s a good sized screen and perfect for watching movies on your computer. The colors standout well and there is no lag between the sound and the picture. The setup was so easy to do. Much easier than setting up the same thing at work. I connected the monitor to my laptop via the hdmi cable that came with the monitor and right clicked on the laptop to setup my screen preference and within 2 minutes I was done. The screen has a matte finish to reduce glare. It has a resolution of 1920x1080 full hd also. It has a 75Hz refresh rate. You can tilt the screen up and down to your comfort level. It also has two hdmi ports in the back. It does not have any speakers and you cannot plug in your headphones to the monitor. It has no sound. It does have a small bezel but the bezel does not impact the viewing arena of the screen. You do t even notice it. I would definitely recommend this monitor as an additional screen for your work station. It feels sturdy and is very easy to setup.

One of the first things I noticed about this monitor is that picture I see is the same size as my old all in one but the unit itself is smaller. This is because the picture goes to edge to edge, no extra room/space on the monitor. Real estate on my desk is at a premium so I appreciate a smaller physical unit that gives me the same size picture. The video has clear images, videos play well. The unit comes with either an adjustable stand or a fixed stand, I received the fixed stand. It works fine for me. the connecting cable is an HDMI cable. Regrettably my Mac does not have an HDMI port and I don't a cable so I can't comment on connecting with a Mac. I did connect to my non Mac laptop and it was very easy. Connect the stand, plug it in and connect it to the laptop. Turn it on. Interesting the monitor asked what language (defaulted to English). Took me a bit to figure out that the buttons under the bottom edge correlate to the up/down arrows etc. Was able to confirm English as the language and then the monitor was displaying my laptop screen. Perfect.

I brought 3 for my job cause your sale person said that the one I need well took to my job wrong one not problem people make mistakes what me off was when I came back they gave me a hard time would not help me find what I really need need the right one than had a hard time trying to get my money back like not sure if I want the headache again coming back for my job

Nowhere in the description did it tell the purchaser that a VGA to HDMI converter is required. When I called Geek Squad I got NO help, only meek apologies. Now Best Buy wants to change me $150 to hook it up!

the issue I have with this monitor is the lack of flexibility for the adjustment of the screen. to be honest I thought I could work with the screen inability to move up. I need dual monitors and this one could not function as my other screen.

I thought this was a great deal because it was on sale for $99, but it just wouldn’t connect so I could use it as a second display. The one time it did, I don’t know how I got it to work and it never connected again.

Both the physical aesthetics and the actual performance of the monitor are excellent! I love how nice this looks on my desk. The minimal bevel with the image going right to the edge is my favorite style. The included desk stand is a minimal design which takes up as little space as possible. It has a swivel allowing the monitor to tilt forward or back. There is no height adjustment, but nowadays that really isn't an issue because if anyone wants height (like me), the monitor can be mounted via the VESA panel to a stand. One really nice touch is if the desk stand is being used, they include a cover to hide the VESA panel. This is great if the monitor is at a reception desk or anywhere that people are looking at the back of the monitor. It gives it a much cleaner look. Now, for the true performance - images are beautiful. Colors are crisp, motion is smooth, and contrast is excellent. Whether in bright or low light, I am happy with the image quality. The matte finish on the screen reflects some ambient light, but it is quite minimal - definitely not anything that distorts the image. I played a variety of 4K videos, specifically trying to find motion blur and I was really impressed. Images with even the finest detail sail across the screen and stay sharp the entire time. Obviously, this performance is dependent on both the monitor and the video source. A lower quality video will not have a refresh rate fast enough to keep up. I was also really impressed with the viewing angle. The screen is pretty visible to the extremes moving up, down, and side to side. The only area that seemed to be an issue is if I looked at the screen at diagonal angles 2, 4, 8, or 11 o'clock. 1, 3, 6, and 9 are sharp well beyond the limit that anyone would realistically be viewing the screen, so it is beyond adequate to me. There are plenty of monitors on the market that struggle if someone is more than a small amount off center. They seemed to think about it with this design. Last but not least, the screen adjustment controls are clearly pointed out via the onscreen menu. I have lost count how many monitors expect a person to instinctively know the function of each button. Here, the menu is really clear about button location and function. The only negative I see with this monitor is that it only has HDMI inputs. Obviously that is fine if the user needs HDMI. If anyone wants to use the monitor with an older computer, they will need an adapter to convert their signal to HDMI. Adapters are pretty cheap, so that too is not a major deal. I do like that there are two inputs and the monitor automatically scans both for a signal when I shutdown my computer. It is nice to have that automatic feature instead of having to manually switch inputs if the monitor is connected to two different devices. Overall, I am really happy with this monitor.

Literally does not work. I got this for our home office, and it does not work at all. No wonder they were on clearance. Very disappointing. Do not recommend. Better off getting from amazon.

Best buy sucks, especially Millville Nj. Bad from top to bottom
