Needed a thermostat, after realizing that my next thermostat was causing my a c unit to blow excessively hard. After reading several reviews, I landed on the Ecobee. I bought a two pack of sensors so have a total of three sensors connected.They do a better job than my own nest.Thermostat did with regulating the temperature on the downstairs level of my house. I prefer the touchscreen and graphic interface of the unit and the app interface to google's Nest, which can seem clunky. I waited after several weeks of use to write my review. I'm more than satisfied with the purchase. Installation was seameless. I did originally purchased the Essential Model but realized I have a C Wire. Returned and upgraded to the mid level model. I would have been just as satisfied with the top end model.

This thing is incredible. It’s expensive but it works great with my Apple HomeKit setup. I have it set to change temperature when I’m going to bed, when I leave the house, when I come home, and when I wake up. It comes with a vacation feature for when you’re not gonna be home. It comes with energy saving features. It comes with a replace filter reminder that you can adjust to your liking. I have no regrets buying this. My only problem is the schedule feature. It’s very confusing and they don’t provide the best tutorials on how to use it well. But it doesn’t matter since I use HomeKit for my automations so I don’t use it.

I've been using the Ecobee Enhanced Smart Thermostat for a couple months and my overall experience with it has been great. Setup was pretty easy. Took my about an hour to remove my old one and install the Ecobee. Very detailed steps on installation included in the app. They walk you through the whole setup process. Ecobee provides many features that I'm a fan of. First the schedule setting. I like that I can set my own schedule throughout the week and will get recommendations on how it could possibly be more efficient. The app to control Ecobee is easy to navigate and simple to use. It pretty much has the same UI as the thermostat itself. Changing the temp on the thermostat or the app is as simple as touching the current temperature and adjusting up or down. Overall design and look is great. I wanted something that wouldn't be an eye sore and Ecobee did a great job with the design.

Love this thermostat it’s very user friendly and has a lot of features so make sure you read the instructions. It’s not very big and we love how it looks on the wall. As you can see next to a light switch it’s not too big.

Love the Ecobee! Had one installed on my last house I sold and just bought another one to install in my new house. Living in AZ with extreme desert heat abs time of use electricity plans makes this thing pay for itself. With the Ecobee+ feature, you can connect it to your wcltricity provider and plan and it will automatically adjust your system to get the efficient performance. Also love the WiFi and app connectivity so I can adjust it myself anytime I want - from bed to across the state. It’s amazing!

This works so much better than the thermostat I had from that other brand. It’s easy to change the temp and just about anyone should understand how to do it right away. Which is nice because I used to have to help people if they were staying at my cottage when I had the other one!

We had a Google Nest prior to purchasing the Ecobee thermostat and after about a year we could not get it to connect to our network to use the functionality of the Google Nest App. So, after installing an Ecobee for a customer, I HAD to get one for myself. Super easy set up and very convenient to be able to control the temperature from your phone. Very simple to use and is perfect for the new age “smart home” set ups!

Easy to install and it has really lowered my electricity bill. And being able to control the thermostat away from home is a big plus

I love this thermostat. Especially being able to schedule times that I want my temperature to change (mainly when I forget) and the capability of doing it when I am not home is a plus! It was really easy to install, even though I didn’t have a C wire, since the instructions were step by step when I downloaded the app.

I do love this device! The fact it includes a thermostat that can shut off if a door or window is left open, plus security? Amazing. So is the subscription price. The only downside I have is that it doesnt work as the chime for the doorbell camera system. You need either the premium or add on the indoor camera for that.

Overall, it’s a great thermostat. The first few days I spent messing in the settings. I bought on 11/12 so I’ve had it a few weeks. It’s my first smart thermostat and it has reached my expectations

This is my first smart thermostat, and I must say it has been amazing! It comes with everything you need to set it up, including a c-wire adapter for those who don’t have a c-wire already. It takes a bit of time to set up but it is well worth it. Super easy to use and control.

The Ecobee Enhanced Smart Thermostat is amazing! It is very easy to use and linking it to my smart phone is genius. We have already saved money with ComEd during this hot summer season. We can control the temperature both at home and away from home so the house is always comfortable and saving energy. Great choice in upgrading our thermostat!

Good thermostat its a convenience to be able to control it from an app on your phone. Also pretty straight forward on the installation instructions.

This works great. I remotely manage the temperature at a lake house. This reduces my heating bill, lowers my carbon footprint, and qualified for a $100 rebate from my utility provider. I needed it to be HomeKit supported, and initially I wasn't excited about the limited choices of HomeKit supported devices. But, the ecobee was perfect. I had the tougher installation without the C wire, which made me nervous at first. But, the adapter was included, the instructions were clear, and the app was amazing support.

I really enjoy this smart thermostat. Was super easy to set up once installed. Installation took about 45 minutes and was done through BB. If you don’t have a c-wire this comes with needed adapter for this issue. Can be installed without the wall plate and looks so much better without it. Definitely worth it…don’t think twice.

Amazing! So much better than my old Thermostat. I love that is equipped to be used in HomeKit which my apartment is mostly equipped by, can’t wait to see how it does in the winter.
