Elgato Game Capture has been a great addition to the game setup. It's easy to set up & easy to use. Saves so much time not having to video, save, transfer then upload. We got it when it was the Deal of the Day which made it that much better! My son would've paid full price but I bought it that day bc price couldn't be beat! Excellent value for the money especially if you're a gamer who likes to share your moves! My son loves it!

Very easy to set up, had to replace my old capture device because of a new xbox that only came with the Hdmi output. Seems to not cause any lag for games. Have used it for live stream and some recordings. Works fine with windows 8.1.

Just started streaming and uploading on Youtube and it was incredibly easy with the Elgato game capture. Only software needed is on their own site. There are features to edit footage in the window and publish to multiple formats! Check it out!

Like that I can share my strategies and also prove what your able to do. High quality video. Easy to use.

Make sure you have a high enough speed processor. Apparently my son's new computer is not, because the pictures on video was not matching up with the sounds at the same time.

The Elgato is wonderful because it's not bulky so it doesn't take up any space and it's portable so you can go to a friends house and setup quickly so that you can begin live streaming and have fun! The most wonderful part is that it's not complicated to setup. My 10yr old is the gamer and he set it up with ease and no frustration. My baby is happy and that makes mama bear happy!!

Really good, used it quite a bit, a friend of mine referred it to me said it was the best one.

This was a purchase that my son wanted. He loves it but has had to work out some issues when using it on the computer. Our computer needs more memory to run this adequately he believes but is still trying to troubleshoot.

It works as expected, has great picture quality, only issue is lags at times!

It is easy to set up. As I stated you can't use the HDMI out connection from the PS3 only the av/out connection so you are limited to capturing or displaying in 1080i. We ran a direct HDMI cable from the PS3 to the TV and switch the video output on the PS3 when we just want to watch movies or just play the game and not have to have the computer turned on. If you use the connection going through the device your computer must be turned on to power it to allow output to reach TV. Other than that it does the job well.

Use primarily for my son to capture and edit video clips from gaming devices. Easy to use with minimal setup, captures high quality video clips.

My 12 year old son loves this. He watched a YouTube video on how to install it and has had no issues.

My computer is on the other side of the room from my xbox, so I send the hdmi output from the xbox to a hdmi splitter. One output from the splitter goes to the TV, and the other output goes to the input of the Elgato. The output of my Elgato runs through a 47 foot usb cable (with built in repeaters) to my PC, and it woks fine. While it does come with a 6 foot USB cable, I had to buy the longer USB cable and the hdmi splitter elsewhere. There is a slight delay when viewing the video on the PC, so most games are played while watching the TV, and then getting the recorded file from the PC. It does a fine job.

I've tried many game capture cards, devices etc. Nothing has been able to flawlessly capture without dropping frames than Elgato. The software is easy to use.

My 11 year old son picked this our for his birthday and he LOVES it!!

For being able to record what I want to record its great, I have a variety of options and optimizations to make it feel better or run better

I broke down and bought this while it was on sale. I am glad I did. It works great. There is a lag between what is on my computer and My TV but that's ok. It took awhile for me to realize that after I stop recording I have to wait a little bit before I can play what I recorded. My DVD maker program will not pickup this recording so I have to run the file through the movie maker first.
