As a really casual streamer and gamer, I am really enjoying this product. It is pretty simple to set-up and assign buttons to execute particular actions, such as something stream related (such as muting alerts), opening links (to whatever website you desire), or executing "hotkey bind" commands in games. Overall, the device itself is small and doesn't take up much room at all. And even though it has 6 buttons, you can set "folders" to open up, which will then allow you to set-up additional buttons/commands. As I get more into streaming, this will be a great tool to use. As some may have mentioned, the USB cable attached to the device is somewhat short, so you may want to consider getting a short USB extension to your liking.

The Elgato Stream Deck Mini is a very sleek, customizable macro board that can fit in the pocket. Dimensions 2.3” tall by 3.3” in width and has 6 buttons and the ability to create an unlimited number of folders. Downloading the Elgato Stream Deck software allows you to have ultimate control over your streaming. The software caters toward the online video streamers integrating services like Twitch and Mixer. Using the Stream Deck, you can send quick chat messages to your stream, see how many viewers you have, open programs, and much more. Setup the Stream Deck with three profiles; one each for multimedia, gaming, and streaming. The Stream Deck Mini is 50 dollars less than the full one and has 9 less keys. The Mini is good for a small desk or someone who streams on the go. You might want to invest in the full version if you want to make a living streaming. Overall this is a very good sleek affordable macro board.

Although this is aimed at live-streaming, I actually find it to be extremely useful for everyday tasks. And I think this is maybe where this Mini version is aimed is for people that may occasionally live stream but also want an additional peripheral to increase productivity. I initially thought that the price was a bit high, just for a simple little 6-button thing that sits on your desk, but it comes down to the software which is super easy and simple to use where you just drag and drop actions or folders in to each space. I also like the fact that you can create custom icons for custom actions including GIFs! Although it only has 6 buttons, I actually quite like this as it reduces clutter since you can group actions into a folder. For instance, you can have one folder for just your live stream actions and then others set up for other programs. Although I said that the software may justify the price, I feel it's just a tad high for this device. 6 buttons is usable, but I think that 8 buttons may be the sweet spot which would provide more flexibility. Other than that, maybe some higher resolution keys, the keys do feel a little mushy and have an odd sound to them when you click them (although not very audible), and lastly, although I like the triangular shape, the weight is a little too light and it can move on your desk if you mash a button. I was reaching for those complaints and they do not justify a 4-star vs 5-star rating, so that's why I rated it with 5. I like this device a lot. I find myself using it for everyday tasks more than live-streaming. Highly recommended.

I still can't believe that the stream deck did not work it seems super cool and very useful but for the life of me I cannot get it to connect I downloaded the drivers I did everything right and it still won't connect.

Elgato's Stream Deck Mini is a great tool for game streaming and so much more, including content streaming to the masses (or target audiences). It is helpful for every day navigation on your computer and works great with navigating photo and video creation apps along with other graphic applications. I have used many different macro systems over the years and find this 6-button marvel to be an amazing time saver. Using 6 buttons in a hierarchal manner results in frequent one touch implementations to complex keystroke combinations. The design and construction are very well thought out with software to match. It works great and looks great. I really like the LCD keys that can be programmed with your own icons or by using any of the many icons included with the streamer. They are easy to see in all conditions that I have used my computer in. The deck with its grippy weighted base stays where I put it with no slippage. An innovation that really works.

I like this because it was relatively easy to setup. I also like the sleek design, it looks cool, but it is small and doesn't take up too much space. I am new to streaming my games so this device is a big help.

Great product for streaming and macro keys. Versatile easy to use software, mostly drag and drop to assign a key. Flexible with just about every streaming software out there. Great buy in my opinion!

The Elgato Mini Stream Deck is a nice addition to my current workstation. So far it delivers as expected. I was looking for a way to streamline my workflow and this little deck is just the ticket. The setup was not too bad, I just downloaded the software and then did some online searching and everything I needed was available to get up and running. My needs are mostly business based, so i set up folders for easy webaccess to my clients portals. Everything is as easy as a touch of a button and you are there. I do plan in the future to stream content, but the short time I have used this there is just not enough time to use it to its fullest potential. But in the few days Ive used it I really like it and would recommend it.

This is a streaming game-changer, especially if you have only one machine and not a dual-pc streaming setup. You can program dozens of commands that are accessible at the press of a button or two without changing what your stream is showing. I have a dual-pc setup, but going from having to use a second mouse and keyboard to using the stream deck was an incredible quality-of-life improvement for my streaming experience. Can't recommend enough.

This is an awesome piece of tech, the customize-able display buttons make it very nice for people who use a lot of macros. This product may be marketed towards streamers but its great for anyone looking for a custom macro key set. I thought at first that only having 6 buttons would be an issue but with the way you can create folders and arrange items in them it is no issue at all.

For the price of the item, it is super costly. It does work great and is much easier than having to remember hot keys. You can use it for many things, such as an item for your home automation, push the button and certain lights will turn on. The problem is, it's basically a box with shortcuts. For almost $100 I would rather use hot keys. Now if you are into streaming your video games live, then it might be of more use. However for me it's a hot key replacement item. It's nice, and sleek. You can customize the button icons to anything you want. You can also customize each button depending on what app or program you have open.

Seems easy to setup, but once done. It would not open my links I setup, so I’m not having the best time with it. For what it can do, price is fair. But I’ll come back and add to my review once I get it right way.
