The laptop runs games such as csgo at 120 fps and the sound system on the laptop is very loud and high quality, you can also choose your settings for it on the equalizer.

My first laptop, and it has all the bells and whistles anyone could want. It has a disk drive so if I want to watch movies or store photos, I can.

I like this machine very much. It is fast and easy to use. Currently having a problem with the microphone which is too weak for Skype.

I love this computer...I wanted to get away from using my desktop at home and a laptop while traveling and have one computer to do both. This is a great compromise but I just don't like Windows 10 yet. The computer has plenty of storage, speed and the screen is adequate no complaints there just the learning curve of Windows 10 that is killing me...

It's been a great computer thus far. I've had it a few months. I love the 17.3 inch computer screen so it feels large enough to read and work on, yet sit on my couch. The speed is something else with the 16 GIG of memory that really matches my high speed internet. I bought a VGA converter so I can attach a second monitor setting up a dual screen for working from home at times for use at my desk. This is where the 17.3 screen comes in very nice using a wireless mouse, keyboard, and extra HDMI outlets so you can get the feel of a desktop, by using a laptop. So, yes I would highly recommend to a friend.

Excellent Size. beautiful display, Good speed and memory for playing games, photoshop, etc.. with dedicated graphics (not a gaming laptop but perfect for games that are a bit older and don't need the fastest memory and processor) Excellent sound.

There are only two problems with this machine that I have learned to live with after about six weeks of daily use. When opening the laptop the bottom edge of the screen catches on the bottom half of the laptop and makes a popping noise as it catches then slips. Also, there is a light leak from the LEDs at the bottom of the screen especially evident when displaying a blank, 1 color screen. Performance-wise though this machine screams through my graphics-heavy apps- AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, ProShow Producer all run with no problems or hesitation whatsoever. And this is probably a Windows 10 thing but I wish the function F keys defaulted to their F functions instead of their alternate (shift) functions.

This laptop is an excellent value. To get 16 meg of RAM, 1 TB hard drive and Intel i7 CPU for only $750 could not be found anywhere else. My only complaints would be the weight and battery running time.

Bought this laptop for my son to use at college for computer science major. Great price! He absolutely loves it. It has a very large screen and plenty of memory. Perfect for doing school work, writing programs, and playing games. He has only had one problem with it. The screen would periodically have little glitches around the edge of the screen, as if he was touching it. Took it to Geek Squad and they would have to send it away to get it fixed. Since it was needed for school and he didn't really use the touchscreen, they just disabled the touchscreen until he could leave it with them on winter break. Other than that, he has been very happy with it. I would highly recommend this product.

I honestly liked this laptop fast, good screen, nice keyboard, but i happened to return it because it didn't meet what i was looking for in a laptop gaming wise. While it would play Gta V smooth and effortlessly as soon as you crank up the graphics it falls on its face. a few things that bugged me is the button for the cd eject is kinda in a akward position and i often found myself having to pick up the laptop to press this button. also im not sure if it was just my particular laptop or what but i pretty much needed pliers to pull out any internet cable i had plugged in. but all around a good laptop for the price

After being a "Toshiba guy" for the last 15 years (and 5 laptops). I knew I had to make a switch based some quality issues with newer models - never had any myself. The HP laptop is very fast and the screen is really sharp. I spend a lot of time on it...I am an online marketer (6+ hours/day) and it has been great. I wanted a computer with a CD drive and an Ethernet port (so I didn't have to sacrifice one of the USB slots... And pay for an adapter. I have a wireless mouse and at least 1 thumb drive in at all times so USB slots are sometimes in short supply, especially if I had to get an external CD/DVD drive. The one thing I wish it had was a backlit keyboard. I overlooked that at purchase and didn't realize it until I had it home and was setting it up. There is one strange graphics issue...sometimes when I go to a page, it looks like everything on the page has been selected...black box around the text, but when I run the mouse over it, it disappears. I used to have a similar issue with an old monitor...but this is only a month old and not a 4 year old monitor that ran 10+ hours/day.

    HP Envy Model: M7-u009dx

Purchased the HP Envy M7-U009dx 3 weeks ago. This is my first HP computer after being a dedicated Toshiba fan for well over 12 yrs. I have to say I am impressed. This computer with the Core i7, running Windows 10 is super fast. The set up was easy and it was up and going very quickly. The only thing that slowed me down was tweaking the visual as it was way too small set at 100%. Found it was easier to read set at 125%. I appreciated the lighter load of bloat ware...not a lot to uninstall. During set up it found my wireless Canon MX860 printer right away but I did have to install the scanner drivers. The sound is not the best, Bang & Olufsen stereo but sounds like mono. I upped the bass settings and it helped. It is ok for everyday but I use the Bluetooth to connect to my Bose SoundLink when listening to music. I love the backlit keyboard which has a dedicated f5 key for on-off. This laptop has a sleek design, surprisingly light weight for the 17.3" size considering it also has a DVD drive. . Overall, so far I am very pleased. Awesome computer for the money.

Honestly? I don't usually buy expensive laptops. My husband insisted upon buying me this Bang & Olufsen laptop. Because I use my laptop almost all of the time, my laptops usually "die" long before they should. My typical cheap laptops run hot, are noisy and are annoying. This laptop is stellar! It's fast, doesn't make a sound and the touchpad doesn't click! It's completely silent! I will probably never buy another typical laptop again. I am in love with this laptop. It has 16 GB memory. It also has a 17.3" screen. The laptop can be used in low light, because the screen is so bright. I will never buy another laptop again, only this brand!

I had to exchange to get the 3D camera working. I have yet to use the touchscreen (I never liked that on a laptop, that is personal though), Check all features are working before you settle with your new purchase. Multitasking with un-noticeable delay at startup. great graphics, smooth with extra monitors too. I left my computer on with power plugged. Now the battery is bad, that may be on me but still I had to reduce the one star for that.

This is my first experience with window 10 and am getting the hang of it. This computer is awesome. It starts up fast, and is flawless so far. Their were 2 things I was really interested in, the touch screen and the lighted keyboard. The keyboard has enough contrast on the keys that the (blue) keyboard back light isn't needed, but it helps in a totally dark room. BTW the keyboard light is the 6th key from the left on the top row. I am spoiled to the touch screen. It is so much easier to magnify or enlarge the page on a computer. The speakers are great, and they play loud for a laptop. Even my 16 dollar head phones are loud and sound great. I've had the best luck with ASUS and HP so far. Everyone that sees this computer wants one.

My second trip to Best Buy to find the computer I wanted was successful and the salesperson was definitely on top of his game. This laptop had everything I wanted and needed, and it was reasonably priced. I am not a fan of Windows 10 or Office 365 because they prevent using some of the applications/programs that I had come to depend on in the past, so that was a drawback. However, the bells and whistles with the laptop itself made it worth the change from my old Toshiba to the HP.

Powerful, great graphics and screen for HD. The hard drive could be a little faster but it's ok. The touchpad isn't' as good as my ASUS machine before but I'll live with it. I'm very happy overall with my purchase. I can't believe I bought an HP. Years ago, they had a pretty bad reputation but they did a very good job with this machine. It feels very solid as well.

Bought this computer for the office since my last one crashed. So far this computer has been super-fast. Startup, shutdown, sleep functions are fast. I love that signing-in is so easy - facial recognition that actually works!!!! Programs are quick to open and I have to frequently use AutoCAD and Photoshop. I love the touch-screen feature and I love that I can draw on my screen with Photoshop and my 'Jot Pro Stylus' - so awesome!!! The screen resolution is the best resolution I have ever had on a computer - everything is so clear and detailed!!! I have been very pleased with this computer and people next to me have been impressed with it as well, so much that two more people here went and bought the same computer.
