15 hours and the bulb is toast

I have had this projector installed for 14 days, out of those 14 days we have used it for a total of 4 days. I would estimate 15 hours and the bulb popped on me last night. other than that the bulb is terrible quality the picture looked amazing when it is working.

This projector died in 10 days! It would start, but the lamp won’t come up. I am deeply disappointed with this product. Also, the fan noise is pretty significant in general. When it was working, the picture quality was very good. I wouldn’t recommend this product and it’s not cheap that you can take it like a toy. I was lucky enough that it was within 14 days return policy of BB and they accepted the return without any fuss.

Lamp burned out around 300 hours

A week ago I would have given this 4 or 5 stars. It worked fine yesterday but when I turned it on today it would not produce an image and the lamp light on the projector was orange suggesting that the lamp has burned out. I have it in eco mode and dont have the brightness cranked up but that doesnt matter I guess. I believe the manual said I should get about 4000 hours of lamp life, looks like Epson added an extra zero by mistake or I got a unit with a dud for a bulb. Relacement bulb is $50 and that is cheap for a bulb replacement but I did not expect to be buying a new lamp this quickly. I began using the projector around the first week of December 2017 but it burned out on Memorial day 2017. Not happy Picture was nice when it was working, used it mostly for video games.

I've had this projector for about 4 months now. It worked great until it stopped working. Unfortunately I received a lemon. I have gone through the warranty process with Epson and I am very dissatisfied with the way they handled it. They gave me a defective device and now they aren't sending me a new replacement but one that has been used. They have told me that I should not worry because the used item has gone through Epson's quality check. Well apparently my brand new unit, which has proved defective after a relatively short time, seems to have slipped through the cracks. This makes me very worried about what may happen with a used replacement. I called several different phone numbers, got transferred several times on each call. Still, they would not send me a new unit. This is a reflection on the way Epson views it's customers. As long as you give them the money for the original product, that's good enough for them. I'm sure that this product has worked very well for many people. The reviews definitely show that. You'd better hope you don't get a defective item though. If you do, then you won't get much out of Epson.

Projector Lamp stopped working after two days

The projector Only worked after two days of use and then the projector lamp stopped working. I try to reach out to Epson customer service but I was not able to talk to anyone due to their offices being closed. I ended up returning the projector and now looking for a more reliable projector. For the two days that it worked I had no complaints.

Well, I really liked this product at first but after less than two days of usage it starts smoking and emitting a terrible smell like burning plastic everytime I turn it on. Of course I just missed the window to return it. I'm really frustrated and disappointed. I guess I'll try to call the company but I'm not sure how helpful that's gonna be. Also they collected 90$ for returns fee for defective product. So don't buy this item.

Just got back in town and decided to turn on the projector wireless and guess what?! Is not working. And I should have a month from purchase date to return it. And now they saying that I had until the 7th!!! No way. I’m returning this projector and I am not going to pay for it. Unless I get a projector that does work wireless and Bluetooth like it says on Best Buy description. I’m not happy with this item. On top of that. They don’t even include proper instructions. For the actual projector.

A little over a month of owning this projector and it has failed. Tried to turn it on and after about a minute I get a flashing lamp light. Going to contact support to see if they will remedy the situation. I had an Acer for 6 years before it failed. Probably will not buy another Epson branded projector again.

The Epsom 2150 is terrible in image quality, the predecessor 2045 had sharper image. I am disappointed in how watching blue rays seem so lame and boring the colors aren't there. 1080p movies feel so ancient to watch on the 2051, I came home excited to be blown away by sharp image and even in dynamic and full sharpness it still didnt look great. Get it on sale not worth 899.

10 movies never turned on again

First epson projector Didn't have audio out. Internal speaker was comical. after a 20% restocking fee and $250 upgrade. Wow. This projector has audio out. Awesome. Worked great. Of course my $700 projector cost me $800. But It looked good, very versatile. Unfortunately only worked 4 months. maybe 10 movies. Never turned on again. The run around Epson gave my was brutal. Completely defeated. I returned to Best Buy. Manager was great, very helpful. Said ' I shouldn't have bought an epson'. I left without the projector. Couldn't take the lack of concern. With screens. $1400 dollar lost. But the 10 movies looked good. Can't really recommend this projector or Epson. And will never set foot in bestbuy again. Hope this is helpful.

    Lasted only 5 months

I was so looking forward to watching movies and enjoying my home theater after reading all the reviews on this projector. After 5 months the picture started flickering and then after about watching 15 minutes on any device(Apple TV, Direct TV,Roku) the projector just shuts down. Has about 200 hours usage on the lamp. Use it in ECO mode and is not on sleep mode and neither are any of my devices. Tried disconnecting HDMI cable, power source ect.ect.ect and nothing. Called Epson and they said it is probably a faulty unit. No kidding! Hopefully they will replace this since it has a 2 year warranty. Would not recommend this projector.

Image Flickering after 40 hours of user. Poor !!

After 40 hour of use Image started flickering, Contacted Bestbuy and they told they can not do anything since I have just crossed 15 days of return policy. I then Contacted Epson Tech Support and they said it is Lamp issue and Lamp has to replace. I really don't understand within 2 weeks and using 40 hours of Projector how soon there can be issue in Projector. I got disappointed with Best Buy as they were not helping at all. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
