I wanted a counter depth refrigerator to give the more built-in look. That greatly limited my selection and also increased the prices. The Frigidaire on sale was one of the better priced options. It has some nice features like a carbon air filter, led lighting from the front of the fridge as opposed to the back (like my previous refrigerator), and fingerprint resistant stainless. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. The ice maker more than keeps up for a house of 2 but may struggle with more. One big plus for me is when you press a glass, ice comes out quickly. Our old Samsung (and my parent's as well) had a big delay between pushing the dispenser and it turning on and then there was usually a delay once on before ice came out. It would take up to 20 seconds sometimes. An interesting thing to note is that the ice cubes are much smaller than normal. I'd guess around 1" cubed. My biggest complaints are related build quality. After owning the fridge for a few weeks, I happened to notice that the flap between the 2 doors was not flipped over, leaving a large open space between the doors. This was hard to notice with the light off. I had to adjust the flap so that it would hit the channel to engage the flipper. We've also had one of the drawers break already. The design where the wheels attach is very weak. I had to epoxy the wheel back on. The paint at the bottom of the water and ice dispenser is not durable. After 6 months, it is fairly scratched up. Lastly, the refrigerator is a little noisy. Occasionally I will hear strange noises and realize it is coming from the fridge. I will say that the Samsung seemed to have slightly better build quality and the only sounds I ever heard was ice dropping, but it had a much more infuriating ice maker and lights in the rear that got covered if the fridge was too full.

We've only had the refrigerator about 3 weeks, but so far we have been very pleased. Really different layout from our previous side by side. It is spacious and since the shelves can be adjusted, very flexable for storage. A few reviewers stated that their units were noisy. Ours barely makes a sound unless ice is being dispensed. There isn't any way to make a silent ice dispenser. After doors have been opened, there is a very low hum of the compressor cooling the unit. Again, a sound that should be expected. We actually couldn't be more pleased. Also, it really is smudge or fingerprint proof. Love it!

Freezes foods in the back of the fridge even with temps at max for fridge. Called frigidaire for service and after over 30 min on the phone they agreed to send someone to repair. No one ever showed up. Now warranty is over. 1.5 years into ownership now and both crisp drawers are bent. Water dispenser gets stuck frequently and overpours. Cheap quality for the price. 2 stars only because the freezer is nice, roomy and works well. Will not buy from Frigidaire again after this experience.

I purchased this counter depth refrigerator with space in mind. It’s the perfect size. It has plenty of space for what we need and fits perfectly in the kitchen. I like the convenience of the pull out freezer drawer and the double doors on the top. The stainless is also great. A great choice!!!

Love the counter height. Perfect fridge for empty nesters. Since it has less depth and you can see everything in it and therefore there are hidden places where leftovers and produce go to die. That also means less storage space, so might not be good for a big family. But for us it’s perfect and at holidays we have another fridge in garage for leftovers. It is a great fridge. No issues so far month into it.

We've had the refrigiderator for 1 week. Love it! It is silent except when ice is being dispensed. That is a momentary annoyance. It is roomy and has flexable shelving configuration. We're very pleased with it. Now we're looking forward to getting matching double ovens next to it.

Had to return since the door with the water dispenser is not flat. Has a wave that makes the door look as if it has a dent. Did an exchange and same thing with the replacement refrigerator. For this price I could not live with that.

We absolutely loved our LG counter-depth fridge, until 3 years in the compressor stopped working. This Frigidaire has been a very uninspiring, but reliable replacement. So far, a year and a half old now, it is still working fine. Pros: exterior brushed surface is nice looking and cleans up well. The lighting inside is delightful, and a nice touch is that it ramps up brightness (reverse dimming ?) when the door is opened. The big freezer door holds lots of stuff and has a good quality roller rails. The exterior door handles are nice and clean design. The cons: there is very little space in this fridge, especially for tall things. Our LG was so much better at that because it didn’t have the monstrosity of an ice maker. The flip up shelf next to the icemaker is useless. I removed ours, it just took up space. The fridge is terrible at regulating temperature. I pretty much have both the fridge and freezer running at high temp levels and it still freezes things places all the way at the back. Defrosted pickles the other night so we could put some slices on our burgers. The fridge is noisy/makes occasional loud noises. The compressor at times can be very noisy/vibrating sometimes. Infrequently, but common, is the loud noise made by ice dropping in the ice box. Also, a clever design I thought I’d like turned out to be silly: the rubber liners in the door shelves. Designed to be removed and cleaned, these don’t allow bottles and jars to slide around in the door trays. You’d think that a good thing until you realize that when the base of a jar or bottle can’t slide, it will just tip over instead. Imagine opening your fridge to find bottles precariously leaning on and out from the shelf almost about to fall out. At least the bin sides are high enough to prevent that from happening. If LG ever gets their compressor issue sorted and starts selling good fridges again, they will be my first choice (if I can ever trust them). This fridge, though flawed, is still a good looking and capable, if not great, counter-depth unit.

Now that we've had this refrigerator for a few years, I feel that I can give a fair review. I can't stand that people review anything a few months into ownership. Within three months, the back of the fridge iced up so badly that we needed a service call. This is with the temp set at 40°. The first thing the CS rep told me to do was to lower our temp to 38 because 40 is unsafe. Then I was told that we couldn't store anything within 6" of the back wall...in a counter depth fridge...and an expensive one at that. We got a technician out who said that this happens all the time. He sprayed some spray foam behind the back panel to insulate it better and told me it would happen again. At around the 1 year point, the rollers to the crisper drawers broke. In order to fix them, the entire shelf above needs to be replace. The roller pins are inserted into a molded part of the shelf edge with extraordinarily little support. It's just bad design. The roller itself is cantilevered out and when the drawer is extended, the majority of the load in the drawer is placed on two rollers that are supported by a sleeve of plastic that is about 0.030" thick. Considering the way this part is loaded, the overmolding should be much more robust than this. Lastly, our ice maker is frozen up again. After several months of making only one tray per day, it has finally quit. There must be frost in the tray motor as well, because I can hear it strip gears as it tries to dump ice (that isn't there). I've disabled the ice making function and have partially disassembled (now that we're well out of warranty) the ice maker in an attempt to thaw it out. Regardless, now we have another ~2 ft/cu of useless space in an already small fridge that we can't entirely use so it doesn't freeze up. This is a bad value, even when the sale price is decent and I can see no reason at all that a 3y/o fridge would have this many problems.

This fridge is nice looking, fits nicely with cabinets, it’s not the elephant in the room like my last one was. I have it 4 stars for 2 reasons. After the delivery men left and while I was cleaning it, I found a cracked door bin. Also we realized that the fridge dispenses room temperature water only, not cold water. If we had known this prior to purchasing, we would not have bought this model. But we decided we do like the fridge & can deal with that. After calling the company we promptly received the replacement door bin.

Stainless steel finish hides fingerprints which is good, and I like the layout of the interior. Interior lights are nice and bright. I like the size of the cubes made by the icemaker. However, there is one design flaw. The vegetable drawers are guided by wheels that screw into a small plastic corner on the underside of the lower shelves. After less than 1 year (3 of us in household, not anything out of the ordinary) where the wheels screw into the shelves have broken on both shelves. Its a bad design, a very small plastic area where the wheel screws in. There is too much pressure from weighted drawer. $85 per shelf to replace.

So far we haven’t had any problems with it. We ordered one at Lowe’s at first. We wanted the counter depth fridge to fit our space well. The associate at Lowe’s convinced us that the standard depth should work just fine. We received it and it didn’t work out space-wise. We went back to Lowe’s to get it exchanged and turns out, the counter depth fridge is on backorder for a few months. Go figure right. We ended up just returning it. Then we drove across the street and ordered it at Best Buy. They were able to deliver that same week.

My refrigerator was delivered yesterday. I love the lighting inside the fridge, I like being able to see exactly what is in the fridge, the smudge proof exterior is perfect, the shelf and drawer design is good. I did take out one plastic shelving from inside the door to accommodate the height of my products. My only complaint is that it is Too noisy. I am a light sleeper and my bedroom door is only 11 feet from the fridge. I am beside myself on what to do. With the COVID situation, choices are limited in this price range. There is a low pitch rattle that is truly getting on my nerves! Please someone reach out to me and solve this problem. Thank you!

Unit was delivered with mis-aligned front doors. Ice maker took forever to make the recommended throw away ice before use. We like the space and shelf distribution, however we have to use caution as to what is stored in the door shelves because not closing the doors gently leads to tipped over/spilled items. The unit was scheduled to be replaced upon discovery of the door alignment. A technician arrived with another unit and was instead able to realign the doors of the original unit. Seems to work well now that we have had it for a few weeks.

Item should be packed better. Took three attempts to get one that wasn't dented. Door alignment is next to impossible to get perfect. Ice maker works ok but is noisy. Display indicator for water burned out after 3 years. Finish is perfect. Smudge free and easy to keep clean. Inside everything works just fine.

Frigidaire makes excellent appliances, this fridge is one of them. Delivery was very professional and they hauled the old fridge too. This refrigerator works great. Spacious without taking too much space. Originally thought it was too high, but it’s just the front part was couple of inches higher so the back part under the cabinet is standard size. Highly recommend specially from Best Buy.

We purchased the counter depth refrigerator to save a little space. It has plenty of space and I like all the shelves and pull our drawers. The freezer is great with the pull out shelf and also has plenty of space. Having water and ice available in one of the doors is nice. Great looking refrigerator and would recommend to others.

I have only used this fridge for the past 2 weeks but so far so good (I mean, it's a fridge...). The ice maker always jams, so that's my one gripe at the moment. One other gripe, and it's not a knock on the fridge, is it arrived damaged. Unfortunately I did not notice until after the delivery guys left. It's on the top so I can't see it unless I'm up on a stool dusting it (which is how I discovered it) but still annoying.

We had this for a little more than a months now and no issues so far. It looks sleek and fit perfectly where we had our old fridge. The cu. ft. was about the same as our old fridge but the way you can configure the interior, it seemed much roomier. The only drawback is the ice maker as it does take up some space, but its nice to have a functioning ice maker - heard about issues with Samsung ones so stayed away from that brand. It has the right amount of "tech" stuff, I want this to last at least as long as our old fridge and not have to get a new one like I do with smart phones or computers. The only noise that is noticeable is when it cycles the ice in the ice maker, but it is not really that bad. Other users are correct, that the temperature was hard to set as it was way too cold at the default 37F, so just set it to 38F and it was fine. Freezer was enough room for us. Overall a good buy, considering multiple brands are back-stocked due to the pandemic, we were lucky to get this one on such a great price too. Best buy deliver was quick and efficient, but there was a snafoo with the installer charging me what I had already paid for, but Geek Squad customer service was quick to remedy and refund me.
