Being a discontinued item, and a floor model, the price was to good to pass up. No issues so far. Temp holds constant and has enough storage for me. Some reviews mentioned how it sounds like a small jet engine when it's in high cool mode, and it does. But it doesn't go into this mode very often. Had it long enough that I don't even notice it anymore. Door skins are pretty good at being smudge proof, but the handles are a different story. Overall, I really like my purchase.

Love the fridge but it definitely isn't sound proof like my old fridge. This one make a loud clunk noise when the water is filling the ice trays and the ice is extremely noisey when the ice trays dump in the ice bin! If you can deal with the noise it is a great fridge.

Nothing fancy about this model, but it did meet my requirements for counter depth with ice/water on the door. Our kitchen is small so a full sized refrigerator overwhelmed to space. This model fits very nicely, actually makes my kitchen look larger and the price point was right on target. I did not feel like I was paying for more and getting less! very happy with the purchase.

    Sexy Refrigerator

OK, it's a sleek and sexy refrigerator. Our sales rep at Best Buy was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had never heard of "counter top depth" buy yes indeed there's refigerators that are narrower or deeper than others. Our old unit was a regular depth, and with an island right in front of our old fridge, it left very little room to move around. Our rep showed us what the counter depth looks like, and I went straight to this beautiful Frigidaire. Plenty of inside room for me and the wife, inside LED lighting comes up slow which is good on the eyes early in the morning. The outside appearance is perfect with our kitchen that we just recently remodeled the floor, counters, walls and ceiling. Very sleek appearance and I like the water/cubes/crushed ice in the door too. The whole package is just beautiful in our kitchen.

Replaced our huge state of the art Samsung (horrible) fridge with this unit. Very happy with counter depth. Everything works including the ice maker! Unit is quieter than the Samsung as well. Nice sleek look. Samsung has been relegated to a spare room for extra items.

So far we are completely satisfied with this refrigerator. It was just the right size to get through all of the doorways without having to remove the refrigerator doors. We also love the temperature display on the front of the door.

Door still uneven even after The Geek Squad tried to fix it. Left door is still higher than the right door. I'm needing to buy the rest of the appliances but unsure now of what the rest of the appliances will be.

    Great So Far

We almost looked this one over after reading some of the reviews. So glad that we decided to give it a try anyway when our 10 year old Maytag bit the dust....again! After ten years of having the old one, (repeated floods, broken ice makers, factory recalls, and many visits from our not-so-lonely repairman), this new refrigerator, now two months in, has been great! The countertop depth was the perfect fit for the small niche we needed to fill, and the brushed stainless finish always looks perfect. We have encountered a few of the issues some others have mentioned, but nothing that would change our minds about the value we received for this price range. A couple of simple, at home, fixes took care of the few issues we did have. Yes, the chill bin drawer squeaked terribly when brand new, but one simple fix, and it hasn't made a sound since. A little line of food-friendly solid shortening like Crisco on the tip of a finger, smoothed into the track of the drawer, did the trick. Properly leveling the unit as stated in the instructions took care of the freezer door wanting to pop open when the refrigerator side was closed. The ice maker does dispense cubes with great gusto, but simple rule...pay attention and stop dispensing when 2/3 full. Our new unit is actually quieter than our old one, but does make some noises that are different from that old beast. When the ice maker fills with water, there is a grinding noise. If you count, the noise lasts exactly 5 seconds, and only does this a few times a day. When the compressor kicks on, there is a slight, high pitched whine. Again, not as loud as our old "top of the line" (Ha!) Maytag, and again, only lasts a few minutes off and on during the day. Now we don't even notice these noises, as they are normal for this refrigerator and only occur in time periods of only a few minutes. The filtration for the through-the-door water produces some of the best tasting drinking water we've ever had! My fruits and vegetables have kept perfectly in their respective bins, and the freezer works just as it should. Overall, we are very happy with this refrigerator and feel it has great features for the price!

Great looking fridge with all the features that I needed. The counter-depth looks great with a fridge surround. It fits perfectly in a 36-inch opening. The only complaint is that it's somewhat noisy - with a high pitched pulsing. I reviewed all other brands and noted similar complaints from all of them - so apparently that's to be expected on modern refrigerators. The price point was lower than those "other" brands - making this a great value choice.

Relocated last minute and only had a couple of weeks to find a refrigerator. Cruised Home Depot, Lowe’s, department stores and local appliance stores but never found “the one” at the price I wanted. Finally decided to satisfy my curiosity and check Best Buy since they usually have awesome deals on large electronics. Almost walked right past this beauty when I noticed the open-box sticker on the front. I still can’t believe the value! With the open-box appliance and refrigerator coupons, I paid around $560 pre-tax, free delivery and installation. Following a hurricane, we were on a tight budget and this was almost too good to be true. It’s clean, quiet, and has amazing temp control. Beats the heck out of the French door refrigerator we used to have. Not as big, but fits the bill for the next few years at least. I did notice the screeching noise from the chill drawer when it’s full. Nothing a little silicone won’t fix. Can’t gripe about a SS $1350 MSRP fridge not having wheel/track systems on the drawers ;)

We are glad we made this purchase. First of all, we noticed many other counter-depth refrigerators of any size as far as cubic feet can be pretty pricey. We saw reviews about a high-pitched sound coming from this model. It does have one, but it's not very loud, and for us it's not a problem because the fridge is in an area where we rarely hear it. One of the drawers doesn't slide smoothly, however, we're hoping that a bit of silicone lube spray will help. Otherwise, we like this refrigerator a lot. We got the cubic feet we needed at a good price, it does what it's supposed to do, is attractive, and comfortable to use..

I really like this fridge. Counter depth is what we needed in our skinny kitchen. Minimal noise. One reviewer noted the 5 second loud noise and it is there once a day, maybe twice?. No big deal. New plastic drawers do stick. Drip some vegetable oil on your thumb and fore finger and grease the sliders. No big deal. Delay on the lights when doors are opened. So what. No big deal. Pack the freezer full like we do and you lose some of the light, but that's o.k., no big deal. Recommend running 1/2" copper pipe through the floor to a shut-off valve behind the fridge (if not already there) and then connect to fridge from there. Don't use coil splicing kits that will eventually clog or leak. Replaced a 40 year old Amana frost free. Hope this one lasts that long. Couldn't be happier!

It's a nice counter depth fridge at the right price. It is a bit loud and the drawers are squeaky because it's just plastic rubbing against plastic rather than a true drawer on rollers. These attributes makes it a tad less "high end".

I needed a counter depth fridge, and chose this one basically for the price and the look. The shelving is pretty well organized, although there is some dedicated space at the bottom of the fridge door for small bottles that I feel is wasted space. My only complaints are that the ice maker is a little erratic and you need to be sure get the glass right up under the spout. Crushed ice has a couple second delay, but the ice cubes are an avalanche. One of my vegetable drawers doesn't fit perfectly and so sticks and rubs (hard plastic against hard plastic) every time it opens and closes. The ice maker makes this weird sort of ticking noise, not very loud, but annoying when it's quiet in the house. Otherwise I actually really like it overall.

This is a great counter depth fridge for the price. But it does make a high pitched whining noise constantly. If your kitchen is in a separate room, no problem. But if the kitchen is open to the living area this can be annoying at times. Inside has great space and I haven't had any other issues so far. I've owned the fridge for a month now. I love the look of it and it fits perfectly in my kitchen so I will deal with the slight noise it makes.

This refrigerator is nice for the price. It is a bit noisy and took almost a week to make ice upon hookup. Functional, counter depth stainless steel without all the bells and whistles. The freezer side was pleasantly spacious! It was received with a dent on the side of the unit which was reported by phone and email to the store of purchase...never had the courtesy of a return call...the installers from Best Buy were both excellent, skilled, and beyond courteous.

It's a counter depth fridge so I wasn't expecting a ton of space. There are plenty of shelves and 3 fruit and veggie bins. They probably only need 2 though. The bins squeak quite a bit when pulling them out. I'm going to "grease them up" at some point but haven't done it yet. They are difficult to push back in as well. The shelves in the door are useful but a little small. The ones at the bottom of the door are fairly useless for day to day items. You can really only use them for rarely used items. The water and "air" filters are at the top of the fridge and are kind of in the way. They use valuable space that could be used for other items. You need all the space you can get in a counter depth. The freezer again like the fridge side has the HUGE ice maker taking up a large portion of the top. That needs to me designed better. I knew what I was getting but there could be modifications that would make it more useful. The light in the fridge also has a 2-3 second delay before it gets to full brightness. I think they tried to make it "cool" but a regular light would have been better. Sometimes simple works better. So far it's a decent fridge for the money. ($1,099) Just know that it's designed to be smaller and you will be happy.
