The only problem is that the slide-out bin in the freezer is not on rollers and is difficult to pull in and out when the bin is loaded with food items.

Good fridge so far. However, I had to call and get seal replaced. Was causing condensation inside.

I've only had this refrigerator for one day but really like it so far. Alot of space in the main part and the door storage is great. It's the first refrigerator I've had with the frig on top and I'm loving that. I haven't noticed any temperature inconsistencies in different areas of the frig. You can hear it run but it's not too loud. I have already found out that you shouldn't use Soft Scrub on it. I tried to remove a spot and it dulled the finish. I like the textured finish though-helps hide finger prints. I did take one star off of the quality rating because I feel the snack and crisper drawers could be more solid/glide better.

I bought this refrig in January 2010. It worked fine for a few months before things in the refrigerator compartment started freexing and things in the freezer started thawing. Repair service was relatively quick and I was told there was a defective gasket or seal. Several months later the same problem occurred but the service man said he thought it might need a little silicone sealant to keep the temperature in the 2 compartments separated (we're waiting to see if it happens again). I am happy with the design of the 'frig and it's noisy but not very noisy. The low rating is because a new appliance simply should not malfunction twice in the first year of use.

I remember having a fridge with a freezer on the bottom when I was a child, it brings good family memories back. The freezer is really nice and big, plus it has a light. It is not as noisey as others say it is. Really happy with my purchase! Thanks Best Buy and GE.

Magnificent refrigerator of great capacity and low consumption of energy.

It cooled fine, but made too much noise when it cycled on. I kept it a total of 48 hours hoping that the noise would go away over time, but it never did. So I called my salesperson (not a BestBuy employee) and they picked it up quickly (they were willing to send out a repair person and nothing else).
