Rating 4.5. Dryer vent adapter on back is placed in a position where the top of the dryer expands out, meaning if you have a tight space and need to use a slim vent, it will not connect. You just purchase an additional piece and had to cut it to make it work. Also the bottom feet are extremely hard to rotate and adjust. I am not sure if this is because the delivery men tightened them or that’s how it comes out of the factory. So far the machine works great, and have been no issues. Delivery however was not so good. I used the third party provided by Best Buy. They only give you one option of purchase for connecting ventalition. IMPORTANT: if you have a tight space you will likely need a slim vent not the regular basic one that takes up 10+ inches and expands the length of a bathtub like they will put it. Using the space saver vent will allow you to get the dryer 3 inches from the wall. When the delivery men showed up the first thing they told me was that it was not going to fit, and they could not guarantee it. This again is because they did not use the correct hook up attachments for both appliances. When I asked if this could be fixed, I was told maybe but they don’t have anything to do that. They said that is the best they could do to get it to go back. Guess it takes one woman to do the work of 2 men. Why anyone installs the washer before the dryer is beyond me. I have attached a picture to show you the back is the dryer hook up they did.

Did lots of researching the latest and greatest brands and models of washers and dryers and this dryer exceeds my expectations! Wifi is a bonus with the reminders if you forget your laundry.

Coming from a 7 year old Samsung set and have had this and it's matching washer for about a month. Have put it through all of it's paces and have had no problem with it at all. Definitely bigger than the Sammies. About as noisy as any other set I've had. Wifi connectivity works fine and is set up for notifications more than anything else that I can see. Might be more to it I haven't discovered yet. Love the steam dewrinkle setting. Clothes come out nice and smooth. By the numbers the drum is a bit bigger than the Sammies but seems more so in person. Both work like a charm. No complaints at this time. Gimme a year or two and maybe I'll have a different opinion.

Great washer and dryer set. Love all the features. Would definitely recommend anyone to look at what these have to offer and seriously consider purchasing if in the market for one.

After 5 weeks use, it blew the 2220v breaker during a dry cycle. House breaker wouldn't reset while dryer was plugged in. GE service tech came out and found an online service bulletin about the power wires being routed up against the heater element box and melting the insulation causing a direct short. GE says replacement harness is out of stock and won't be available for at least six weeks. Clearly buying this dryer was a mistake. Still waiting on a return call from Best Buy about options.

We bought this dryer along with the matching front load washing machine and love them both. The appearance is great, and the large capacity has of room for our laundry. The smart phone app makes it easy for me to use, even though I am blind and I can get alerts on my phone or smart watch to let me know when cycle has completed.

I absolutely love this dryer! It is quiet and very efficient. I love all the different cycle settings which more than suit my needs. I installed the app for it which is very informative. It lets you know when the dryer is almost done and complete with the cycle. You can also add more time to keep your clothes from wrinkling. The only issue I have is that when I bought it, Best Buy recommended buying the power supply cord, but did not offer or recommend the Y coupler and cold water hose to connect it for the steam feature to work. This is something I can do on my own, but would have been a lot better if those parts were offered at the time of purchase so the tech could have installed it for me.

I love my GE Steam Dryer. I practically operates itself. Once you make your selection, it will determine the heat level and time. The dewrinkle option is great. Haven't tried the steam option yet. The large capacity dryer can handle my king size comforter, blankets and bedding. Wi-Fi is great. If you are far away from your laundry room, it let's you know when you cloths are ready. NO Buzzers. I would recommend this product.

Dryer works great and easy to use, quiet and the vent is really easy to open to empty.

I finally got this dryer delivered with the matching washer after a month and a half of waiting. The dryer itself is beautiful. It seems easy to use and has a large capacity. We've had some issues with some of the cycles stopping and displaying "check filter". There is no issue with the filter or the exhaust hose so I have to call and find out why this is happening. My biggest issue/complaint is the delivery of the product. I purchased August 7 and the earliest delivery was September 16. That date came and I had sold my old washer and dryer and prepared the laundry room for delivery. Deliver was confirmed by both email and phone. The deliver time window came and went and no one showed up. Not even a phone call. I called Best Buy and they had absolutely no explanation as to why my washer and dryer weren't delivered. They told me I could reschedule and gave me a date another month and a half away! I called best buy again a few hours later and by some miracle, the lady I spoke with got me a delivery date the following Monday.

Love this dryer! It has been so consistent and I've had no issues with it over the past 2 years. Recently bought the matching washer.

Get some help with INSTALLATION, very heavy unit. Runs smooth, very quiet. Lives up to its high ratings. Remember: generally in life you get what you pay for.

Bought this along with a washer. I like the look of this however on small loads it’s a bit of a struggle as the sensor thinks the laundry is dry after 5 minutes and it takes override of this to get dry clothes. Just like the washer, the smart technology is really awesome to get alerts when your laundry is completed or add additional time through the app. I wasn’t that crazy about the color, but it looks nice with dark cabinets in the laundry room and is quiet which is ideal as it’s near the master bedroom.

Love this dryer! Very quiet with enough options to dry whatever we throw at it. I have to admit we don't use the steam function as much as we thought we would. We do love the wifi connection to remind us when it is done. Love the color.

Great dryer. The non wrinkle aspect is very good and drys well. Not loud either.

Loved it!! Honestly I was skeptical because of the bad reviews but I’ve had ZERO problems. Everyone that complains it’s too loud or it shakes didn’t fully take off the shipping bars which includes the little rubber pieces! I didn’t at first and it shook my entire house! I had to reread the manual and realize I needed to take out the shipping bolts. We staked ours and I’m 5’2/5’3 and I can reach both without an issue.
