This has a large side tank. The bin is usually filled with nugget ice. Cleaning and descaling is relative easy, This is the best ice for making frozen margaritas. I love this ice maker. I would suggest getting insurance on it. This is an expensive appliance to replace if it breaks.

This is the 2nd ice machine I’ve purchased. My 1st one lasted 2 years. This one i bought in December 2023 and it quit working March 2024. My life has been crazy due to my daughter passing away 2 months after her son was born, now raising a baby im in desperate need for ice. Should i take it to Best By or call someone? I know i should of returned it earlier but it was the last thing on my mind. On the other hand it worked fantastic for 3 months. I absolutely LOVE IT! I highly recommend it. Wasn’t noisy worked perfectly. My other one didn’t have WiFi. I would definitely recommend the one with WiFi. It will alert you when it needs to be cleaned, maintenance and what’s it’s doing at all times. Fits under standard cabinets. Definitely get the large water tank. Ive had both, this one is my favorite. I know it was pricey but id buy it again and again. I truly LOVE IT.

I love the fact that it has a 1 gallon tank plus the other water rservoir in the unit itsel so you dont have to fill it so often (unless you use ALOT of ice). I also love that it connects to Google and Alexa. I think for the high price it shouldve come with a filter but otherwise i love this ice maker

Replaced a cheaper bullet ice maker that could not keep up with our large family needs. So glad I decided to go with the more expensive GE over the frigidaire. Makes ice quickly, and the XL tank means I don't have to monitor the water level much at all. I just fill the tank with distilled water every couple days. The ice is PERFECT and my whole family drinks more water as a result! I did read some reviews about it not lasting so I purchased the 4 year geek squad warranty to be safe :)

This is a fantastic product! If you like Sonic ice, you will love this machine. I wish it was refrigerated, but it works great as it is. It doesn't take up a lot of space and fits under the cabinet. It keeps up with our needs with no hassle. I especially like the new gallon side tank. It it so much easier to use a gallon at a time, then partials. Because of our hard water, we use only distilled and have no issues whatsoever. It's more expensive that a lot of others, but well worth it in the quality of the product. I highly recommend this product!

EASY SET UP ,EASY TO USE, AND YOU DONT KNOW HOW MUCH ICE YOU USE TILL YOU GET ONE , IT MAKES THE LITTLE OPAL ICE JUST LIKE YOU GET AT SONIC AND IT IS SOFT ,IT IS AUTOMATIC IT CUTS OFF WHEN BIN IS FULL ,WHEN YOU OPEN DOOR IT STARTS MAKING ICE AGINE,THE FILL TANK IS EASY TO FILL OR YOU COULD HOOK TO WATER SUPPLY

We cant live without our sonic ice! We just upgraded to this one after having our original for 3 years. The gallon size water tank is a game changer for us! Not only do.our kids love this ive machine but our dog and cat come running everytime they hear the door open. They also love getting a few frozen easy to chew treats.

Works as advertised. Side water container is helpful so that you're not spending time filling a water tank.
