Guardians of the Galaxy series seems to have ascended to a place of wide spread commercial sucess and critical acknowledgement of its distinct charms. Its a hero movie with heart and cheek and the Musical accompanyment is of the same. You dont have to take it seriously, but you cant disrespect it. Vol. I and Vol. II are essential.

After watching "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", just like watching "Vol. 1" (with is also a great movie), I had to purchase the soundtrack for this one as well! Great selection of old school songs and to make it work with a 'futuristic' sci-fi superhero movie was absolutely genius! I love this soundtrack.

Saw the movie several times in theater and knew I had to have the soundtrack. I haven't bought a cd in ten years but since buying this I have found myself listening to it every time I get in the car. If you are a fan of 60's and 70's classics then you will love this cd. It also has the David Hasselhoff song from the credits.

I don't know if this volume is better is than volume one. However it certainly has many stand outs and would most likely feel more original if it were tied to a unique movie as opposed to a sequel. Definitely worth a look and a buy.

Very few movies have their soundtrack be as much of the movie as the guardians series, especially in this modern area. Each song was picked and has engrained scenes from the movie into my brain. I would highly recommend this soundtrack for fans of a nice mix of 70s and 80s genres

Guardians of the Galaxy is known for their great soundtrack. In my opinion, the second one had an even better soundtrack. All of the songs fit the movie well and we’re all fantastic. Even if you haven’t seen the movie, you’d most likely enjoy this soundtrack.

I saw the movie and fell in love with the music and since I relate back to the error when the movie started I really enjoyed the soundtrack would highly recommend it to anyone that really likes good music

If Volume one was a pop masterpiece hen Volume two is the "B" side. This is full of deep cuts as well as some great "A" side tracks like Chain. In short weather you like the movie or not, if you love music this is another great collection from Mr. Gunn

After seeing Guardians Vol 2 in the theater, it was a no brainer that I needed to add this CD to my collection. If you like old classic music or the music from the film, don't hesitate to buy it.

The first guardians had a great soundtrack full of a lot of my favorite classic songs. This one is not as heavy hitting as the first but its still good. Unlike the first OST you might not know every song on this cd but it's definitely worth a listen.

Like its predecessor, GOTG Awesome Mix Vol. 2 is a mixtape of radio hits from the days of yore, all of which were featured in the movie. The temptation here could have been to go for an even more crowd-pleasing collection of well-known hits than the first one, but pleasingly there are a few surprises here.

I watched the movie and loved the music sound track so I get them. It is worth the buy. For people who loves old music definitely you may want to get a copy of this.

This is the continuation of the great phenomenal movie soundtrack which ends up topped off the charts so get Vol. 1 and get Vol. 2 also be on the lookout for Vol. 3 between next year and/or up to 3 years maximum!

A few duds but overall a good collection of songs. Could do without the ending theme song and a couple of the more 'soft' songs in the bunch... but still enjoyable. Get it on sale and prosper.

My wife bought this soundtrack because we were such fans of the first movie and soundtrack. She said she really likes Volume 2, but it's not quite as good as the first. Kind of like the movie; the bar may have been set too high. Still a great soundtrack.

I loved the original soundtrack and this one is just as great if not better! Would've loved Bowie's suffregate city along with the other tracks.

I had to watch the second part of guardians and the music was just as good. So I got the DVD and it’s great to listen to music that feels good and brings back great memories

The first Guardians soundtrack was a blast. This one is also a lot of fun from the seventies decade but does feel more like the B-list version. Not sure why some songs were chosen but if more of the same works for you then this should put a smile on your face.

This soundtrack is a souvenir of the Guardians of the Galaxy II film that will take you back. As with the first film, the music in the sequel is the connection to Peter's mother. There's a lot of emotion in this version and the music give you the feels.

Another enjoyable Guardian tape mix which includes songs from artists such as George Harrison, ELO, Fleetwood Mac, CheapTrick, Cat Stevens, Glen Campbell, & Sam Cooke. Highly recommended.
