The geek squad was helpful and knowledgeable but each person didn't seem to know what others were doing and the wait time to pick it up at the counter was over 15 minutes. I thought I should test it before taking it home and when I booted it up it was stuck on the start screen and would not go anywhere else. I had to talk to a few people to get this new problem fixed. I feel the tecks should test the comp to make sure it is working after they repair it not just make sure the part the replaced works because frankly if I would have paid and taken it home and it didn't work I would have not been happy. Over all I am satisfied but because I made sure it worked before leaving the store. I still feel they shoild not return something not in working order for someone who is not tecky to have to figure out how to fix the new problem.

After having a horrible experience at the Okemos, MI location the weekend before and not being treated like a valued customer I was super happy with the way the Geek Squad employees treated me at the Flint, MI store. I wish I knew the names of the gentlemen who helped me because they deserve to be recognized for their excellent customer service. They made me feel welcomed and even took my laptop apart in front of me to show me exactly what parts I needed. The actual installation of my hardware was super quick. I will only return to this store for further service.

The Geek Squad at the North Anchorage Best Buy store were amazing! They fulfilled all that I wanted professionally, timely, and at a great price! I'll continue using their services and the products from Best Buy as well as recommending to family and friends. Thank you!

Very courteous, and respectable and was able to meet my needs

I'm probably spelling his name wrong but Yahoo is the best. I came in with my request to install an HDD in my prebuilt computer. He was completely transparent through the whole thing and took the time to explain things to me so I knew everything we had to do to make it work. He answered all of my questions and was nothing but kind the whole time. If I ever need anything else done to my computer I 100% would come back to him. I trust that he really knows his stuff.

The Geek Squad Agent, Trevor, was hands down one of THE most polite and straightforward gentleman that I’ve encountered. He was exquisitely thorough and clear with every detail. Consulting him on my upgraded custom build IS a no-brainer.

I had to make multiple trips to the store for something that should of been incredibly simple... The only reason I didn't do the repair myself is because my employer insisted we use your service. No one knew what was going on and I went through more than 4 different people my first trip. No one ever answers the phones, the person that did the part upgrade tried calling and telling me it didn't have an m.2 slot, even though it was literally an inch away from the RAM they replaced... Bought a fridge from the store on the same day, freezer didn't work from day 1, ice maker didn't work from day 1 and BestBuy refused to touch it as long as it was warrantied by the manufacturer... Wouldn't even connect me to them directly. My coworker did a similar upgrade to his laptop and had an even worse experience than I did, managers were no help. I knew they give these sales rep jobs to just about anyone, but the obvious lack of training is flat out embarrassing. I will not be back under any circumstances.

Hello- I really want to appreciate Geek squad for this fix. Technician looked at it and did quick diagnosis, suggested a online buy. Once I bought, he fixed it so quick and that runs perfectly alright. . Thanks to BestBuy to fix this at minimal cost.

Needed a new battery in our rather old laptop ... extremely helpful - no charge to ascertain the problem, then minimal charge to install the new battery. Further, I did not have an appointment - they worked me into their schedule very quickly - much appreciated!

The agents sent me the link I needed to purchase a systems fan for my laptop. Got the part overnight and was able to pickup, completed work-order by next day. Excellent communications and help from all agents.

Am afraid I didn’t get the geek squad service person that helped us. He was fantastic!!! Went in thinking it would be 3-5 days for outlets computer tower to be fixed. We had contacted the company that made our customized gaming and were told we needed to replace Amy case fans. The gentleman at your store from the problem (which was not the fans). Corrected that and as requested went ahead and replaced the fans. All this while we shopped their store!!!

Extremely fast, zero issues with my installation!!

I purchased a 1TB SSD to replace a failed hard drive in my laptop and my local Geek Squad guys installed it for free under the Total Tech Support plan. They also transferred the data from my old drive to the new one and installed Webroot internet security software on the new drive, also at no charge. Everything works great!

I has alot of data on my old cellphone. The Geek Squad was able to transfer the data to my new cellphone without any loss. The technician was very helpful in setting up a few features for me. It was well worth the cost.

They installed The harddrive into My PC and e4ven put in some parts which were missing which I wasn't even aware of, they did a great job and I'm Thankful I went to best buy as If i tried myself, surely it'd have been a miserable and stressful failure. Thank you Geek squad.

The Geek Squad people are FANTASTIC!!!!!! Totally amazing they are real professionals that have GREAT customer service. they answer all questions and are so willing to help and explain things it was a wonderful experience.

First, I'm pretty adept at computer repair. I build my own desktops and have put in multiple SSDs in laptops, and even repaired a power jack in a dell laptop. But, when I tried to put an SSD in a newer HP laptop, it became a HUGE pain. Multiple wires to unplug, moterboards to remove, big headache. For the price Geek Squad charges, it wasn't worth my headache. I purchased the SSD online from another vendor, brought it in to Geek Squad and paid them the flat fee to install. Done, and laptop is now speedy fast. Very happy.

Excellent service in a pinch! I was desparate to finish a paper. Service was helpful and quick! I really appreciate the efficient customer service. Would use them again.
