I switched from a normal desktop which took up a lot of space on my desk which I really need for other things. Best part of the purchase of my new ENVY 23" All-In-One is that I can either use the touch screen function or my mouse. A nice added feature is that it comes with a portable CD/DVD player/burner so I don't lose that function with an all-in-one. Even better was the fact that it was on sale - so I ended up buying one for my husband as well!

I am a self taught computer user. I did not think it would be difficult to learn Windows 8 but after XP, Vista, and Windows 7 I am still intimidated by the Windows 8. I will need time to adjust to the changes. I did not realize the newer version of HP Envy All-In One used an external DVD drive and I am not so sure I like that yet.

Looks wonderful, works great, sounds awesome! Wasn't thrilled about the price but now feel it was worth it!

With the touch screen and everything fitting in the a small area, this family friendly PC is awesomely priced for success! We've never own a PC that was this easy to use and still didn't confuse our actions and or miss actions! BL: Best PC Ever!!!

The computer is very nice...large and clear. Just having trouble with the icons, and software Windows 8. Might be me.

Set up was easy, basically just unpacking and plugging in. Windows 8.1 is simple to learn for the home user. Touch screen is responsive and intuitive with touch keyboard available, or you can use the Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The mouse packaging and set-up instructions indicate that a USB dongle is included to operate the wireless mouse, but none is included or required as the mouse and keyboard are Bluetooth enabled. Beats Audio built-in speakers are convenient and perform better than most built-ins. Disc drive is included in the bundle and simply plugs into USB when being used. Windows Office is not included in the Apps and must be purchased separately. Only complaints have been minor hardware issues. I have been unable to get the screen to completely lie flat against the pedestal in the horizontal position. The screen rotates horizontally, but there is resistance to getting it completely flat. Also, the battery cover on the bottom of the keyboard does not close completely. A small fit and finish issue. In general, this machine is an impressive all-in-one.

Bought this for my wife, who mostly reads foreign newspapers and plays hidden object games. I set everything up in just a few hours, including our full music and photo libraries. She's delighted with the large screen and ease of operation.

I wasn't sure about windows 8 at first but after tweaking a few things I'm very happy. The hardware is great I love the ability to recline the screen and use it like a tablet. The only downfall I've found is that you can't adjust the brightness of the screen. Why they decided to disable this feature is a mystery but it is a bit frustrating.

This is possibly the fastest, most reliable computer I have ever owned. It is amazing and I love how you can adjust the screen into a lot of different positions. It is very fast and multitasking is easy. And it comes with a DVD drive that is a big plus considering that most all-in-one computers don't have one or include an external one.

Okay I have seriously purchased this machine three times. Basically I bought it once fell in love with it and couldn't stand to use anything else so I bought another one for my home office and when my assistants computer broke I bought her one. This machine does it all and then some! Its wonderful. Love the touch screen capabilities.

I was searching for a new PC because my old one had grown a beard and needed to retire so we went to Best Buy. As everyone who shops there knows they have a vast array to choose from. What struck my eye was the dazzling color contrast and touch and/or mouse capability of the HP ENVY "23 , and I never looked back; it was on sale as well.

The all in one touchable desktop works great but the brightness feature is not available in settings.

Solid value, but integration with other devices is more difficult than need be. Small footprint good, but no disc reader onboard (really should have more USB ports). Integrated graphics prevent upgrade. Upgrade to Win10 also not recommended so I wonder how long the WIN8.* operating system will be supported. Good for limited uses - if you can have the budget, and want more power, get a more powerful and faster desktop!

The new HP All-in-Ones seem to be a lot better than the older models. It doesn't get hot like the ones I've used in the past. The tilting stand allows it to be used in a table top mode, which is more useful than I expected. It's nice to stand up while using the touch screen in flat position every now and then.

This is computer #2 we purchased... the same one, Envy 23. This one has a different monitor that can adjust direction for ease of viewing. We both have enjoyed the Windows 8 even tho we had numerous people tell us not to. We are still learning the ins and outs of it, but overall we are both very pleased with them!

Touch screen is very accurate and functions are user friendly. The sound is awesome!
