Easy setup. Beautiful prints. I’ve had this printer for about three weeks and I’m loving it.

The Smart Tank was fairly easy to set up. I did have difficulty finding the color option on the print screen. Not sure why, but once that was solved the print was clear and vivid. Time will tell if the ink system is good or not. I found out via past experience with color ink jets that if you don't print often the ink will clog the jets. All in all, this seems a good choice although there is definitely a learning curve.

Best printer ever. Great for home/office use. Easy to set up, takes up little space and quickly prints what I need. Interface with HP Chromebook was a breeze.

I'm giving a 4 star. The printer will lose my internet connection when other devices hasn't. So, I assume it is an issue with this printer. It was easy set up. Prints and copies well. I've even printed some pictures that I sent over the internet, and they look great! I love the fact of having the ink tanks. They were easy to fill. I was always replacing cartridges. It's very quiet when it prints. Copies printer looks like the original. I purchased mine on sale, which helped me make my decision to purchase.

Works well once you have it set up. Instruction manual is vague when it comes to the setup. It is not a quick and easy hookup and print like other hp inkjet printers. It gives enough information to lead you to print the rest of the instructions from the printer to complete setup. I still haven’t figured out how to print using the direct USB wired hookup. Other than that, the print quality is good and it prints rather quickly.

I love this printer so much I actually have two of them for my work. The HP Smart Tank is hands down one of the best printers I’ve used. The refillable ink system is a game-changer—super easy to top off, and the ink lasts a long time without constantly worrying about running out. It’s much more cost-effective than cartridge printers, and I really appreciate that HP designed it with larger ink tanks.
Setup was straightforward, and connecting it to Wi-Fi and the HP Smart app only took a few minutes. I use it daily for work, and it’s been incredibly reliable—prints are sharp, colors are vibrant, and it handles large batches without issues. It’s also quieter than I expected, which is great in a work setting.
Another big plus is the convenience: I don’t feel stressed about ink costs or having to replace cartridges all the time. Having two of these printers running has made my workflow smooth, efficient, and hassle-free.
If you print a lot and want something dependable and economical, I highly recommend the HP Smart Tank. Owning one was great, but having two has been a total productivity booster!

This printer works fine once you set it up correctly; I had to use the WPS button on my router for it to finally connect it to my wifi system. I've never had to refill the ink tanks, even after printing many photos. Be sure to purchase a Geek Squad warranty for it; this is actually the 3rd different one of the same model.

Printer worked great for 2 months for my mother, then she couldn’t access it on her WiFi anymore and nothing we could do to remedy the situation worked. We tried LITERALLY everything. The best plan was to plug the printer in via Ethernet to a WiFi range extender tied to the home network. Surprise! The printer was pointedly designed without an Ethernet port! What a quirky and fun design touch, HP! Good for you — and thanks for never looking out for your end user! I only bought this printer for her so HP could stop charging me on cycles for “fresh” ink cartridges that I knew weren’t empty, but I guess that’s what I get for thinking they’d make a product with the consumer’s best interests in mind. I ordered one for myself before all this started happening with my mom’s, and it’s been fine so far… So here’s an extra overall star, as much as it pains me. I just want a printer that isn’t designed to fleece me, but apparently that’s too much to ask in HP’s eyes.

As a family of four which includes a stay at home mom with two kids and a small business, we need a printer that is reliable, easy to use, and cost-effective. That's why we chose the HP Smart Tank 6001, and I'm very happy with my decision.
The HP Smart Tank 6001 is an all-in-one printer that can print, scan, and copy. It has a refillable ink tank that can last for up to two years, it's been a pain having to go out and buy ink when it was running low. The print quality is excellent, especially for photos and printing off activities for our toddlers to do during the day.
The printer is also very easy to set up and use. It has a wireless connection that lets me print from any device, including my phone or tablet. The hp app allows us to control the printer settings, monitor the ink levels. The app also has some useful features, such as Smart Tasks, which lets us create shortcuts.
Overall, I think the HP Smart Tank 6001 is a great printer for anyone who needs a versatile, high-quality, and economical printer for home or small office use best part is knowing running out of ink will not be an issue.

This printer is awesome! I purchased it a month ago and it prints clean and fast ! It’s compact and has the scanner on the top. Easy setup too.
I have printed about 100 sheets so far and they all come out very nice. Even prints on both sides and no trouble with the printer whatsoever!

I was assured it was a wired printer since my computer et.al. are wired, however it would not connect to the computer using a wire. After many attempts to connect to the computer ( which was recently purchased ) I found it connected to wi fi only. Anyway I am happy with the printer.

This is a solid product. The printer itself works great so far. The only issue I had with this printer is the wifi and software was a bit finnicky at first. Works great now but took a lot of troubleshooting.

Good printer with minor quirks. Good value for the cost. Easy to setup, as long as you are willing to use HPs Smart App (I could not find a way to install or use this without it). Huge print tanks are a plus.
A few minor issues: This printer disconnects itself from the wifi network frequently. Must reboot or cycle wifi button (on printer) to fix. Paper jams more frequently than the older HP model that this replaced.
Overall good printer. I would purchase again.

So far so good. Instructions good to setup. Working fine so fst for our needs. Haven't used the scanner or copier yet but the machine has been very simple to operate so far. Print quality is good for our needs. Not sure about portrait prints.

The printer was constantly going offline when I needed to print. Not sure this was the printers fault. I enjoyed the print quality and ease with which it printed. Also, black ink was almost gone and I hadn't had it for two years.
If you like copying multiple pages this is not the printer for you. I finally returned it and got another printer with additional features I was used to.
