So that was false advertising and that was the reason I purchased this one over the cheaper one. But I kept it and it does print nice pictures.

I even tried the AR technology and it's pretty cool. You can look at the device with the AR enabled to see its battery life which is more of a novelty but it's cute. The pictures come out fast and I haven't experienced any jamming (and I've gone through about 30 pictures). I wish it was USB C but that'll probably be in the next offering provided HP continues these adorable little printers.
