    Dead after 18 months

    Purchased as gift for parents, TV was dead after 18 months. After searching online looked like a known issue with one of the components on this model. Insignia and Best Buy both basically said since it was past the 1 year warranty I was out of luck. I explained that this was gift and that I really didn't want to tell my parents that their gift was now a paperweight. I asked if there was anything they could do as far as help with fixing it or some kind of a discount on a new TV to compensate for the fact that I was sold a defective one and neither Insignia nor Best Buy offered any help. I've worked retail customer service for years and this was a really disappointing experience. Both companies could have done better. They sold me a bad TV. So I guess my advice would be if you get one of these you really need to get the extended warranty but it's the last Insignia I'll buy and I'll probably think twice about buying from Best Buy in the future too.

    I purchased a 40 inch Insignia in 2015. I was extremely surprised at the screen quality, image sharpness and vibrant color, I wanted at least a 65 inch for the Super Bowl this year. I bought an LG OLED since it was the best looking screen for my budget. Once I set it up at home, (with cable rather that 4K content like in store) it left a lot to be desired. I decided to return the overpriced OLED and get another Insignia. Imagine my disappointment with the grainy image quality, muddy color options and the very generic settings. I will eventually move this television out of my family room and put it in a bedroom so my friends and family don't give me a hard time about my shabby tv.

    Within a week of using the tv- the sound is crackling. It goes in and out and lasts days at a time. This t.v. only gets used about 4-8 hours a day and I'm shocked we are already having problems with it. This is our first and more than likely last Insignia purchase.

    I got this today thought it was good deal at 300 boy was i wrong picture is very bad when fast movement is happening is gets blurry and when dark scene u can see its very grainy and nomatter what setting change to have 32in 720p same brand and picture is better.

    When placing on wall mount the plastic section that holds nuts failed. Another trip and a different model made the difference.
