Got it for my aunt because while she has a strong inclination towards having a clean home her age is catching up with her. This product allows for the the floors to look every bit as good as she wants without and added strain. Thisnis what living in the future looks like ;)

Any hair caught on the rollers rolls to the sides and all you have to do is pop the roller out and pull it off the side. Then you pop the roller back in. So much better than cleaning hair off brushes like you have to on a regular vac or other robot vacs. I love the rubber rollers. I went ahead an upgraded to the i7+ with the automated robot dust bin emptying and it works great. Haven't had to empty the bag yet in a month's worth of robot cleaning. I highly recommend as it makes the robot hands free 99% of the time. Once it mapped my entire house with a couple of training runs(took 5 hours). I was able to setup dividers for rooms in the app. The house us much cleaner with it running on a schedule and the pet hair we used to find around is gone. Suction is quit good on carpet and wood floors. It's relatively quiet compared to a regular vac. Vacuums under a lot of stuff a regular vac can't reach without moving stuff.

Had this Roomba for 2 years and it provided such a great cleaning. We have two dogs that shed and has been able to maintain our floors clean

Unit meets all expectations. The more we use it the better it seems to vacuum and navigate the area. It is fun and interesting to watch the Roomba as it thing. The self emptying feature is a real plus.

After plenty of research went with the i7+. Love this robot. Why did I wait so long to purchase this. I have both floors mapped and it does not take much to move up and down the stairs. You do have to do a little tweaking with the borders in the app after mapping is complete which is vey easy. Overall it does a nice job.

I have been very satisfied with my purchase of the i7. It has worked flawlessly, cleans the floor exceptionally well, and completes each job efficiently. And the price for this product was very reasonable. Couldn’t be happier.

As a single guy I find it hard to keep up with housework. I bought this since I found that I was not vacuuming nearly as often as I should. I was skeptical, but have found it great for keeping my floors clean. It took several passes to learn my floor plan, but now navigates my house easily as long as I don’t leave clutter on the floor. I didn’t anticipate it doing a very good job at actually picking up dirt, but it does a good job of it. I like that I can be sitting in my home office and use the app to have it go vacuum my bedroom. I’ve got vacuum lines in my carpet most of the time now, and it’s done a good job keeping my floors clean. I’d say it does better on carpet than tile, but it’s performance on tile has been acceptable to me. My house is a little under 1500 square feet. If I have it do the entire house at one time it takes a few hours with one recharge about 70% of the way through the job. Happy with the purchase so far.

Good choice for flat surfaces. Bought it 2 years ago and it still works good

It vacuums but has a habit of dying before it can figure out the way back to the base station. Additionally, the bag could have very easily been engineered to be re-usable. The fact that you are pressure to buy new bags, when you can just as easily empty the bag your current bag if they let you remove the lid, is a downright money-grab.

Love the scheduling system, the mapping is pretty good, seems to get stuck less than the lower "quality" Roombas. The self-emptying is worth its weight in gold. Super glad we got this on sale for Black Friday!

I got this iRobot a couple months ago and it truly has helped so much around the house. I went from having to clean my house, myself, almost every day to only once a week, and I didn’t even have to do it myself. I definitely recommend this iRobot. It has helped a lot.

The irobot i7+ has made my wife a happy camper. Once setup, and mapping were completed, a command to google sends it on it's way. It does a good job on smooth surfaces and short nap rugs. Only hang ups have been on thick nap throw rugs and small rugs without a rubber backing when ends are flipped up. The initial mapping took a little time as i7 explores it's new surroundings. But once completed it does go a little faster. We typically do a quick pickup and make sure there are no cords, tanglers or surprises on the floor before sending it out. Areas where cords, cables and pet dishes are always present are mapped as keep out zones. We use it on both the 1st and 2nd fl each floor has it's own map. Simply move the unit and charging base between floors and select the correct map. The i7 is not silent but not intolerable, however the auto empty does sound like a jet taking off for a few seconds. So far we are very happy with this purchase.

Awesome upgrade from my older i890. This unit maps out your home in about 1 or 2 runs and after that you have a ton of control. I have two large shag rugs that would slow down the Roomba and sometimes get it stuck. I setup no clean zones over the rug areas, which the Roomba identified as rugs after a few mapping runs. After I marked those areas the Roomba avoided them. I do wish the Roomba was a little more off-road to handed the longer rug fibers but I’m ok with just getting out my regular vacuum and doing those myself. So glad I upgraded to this new model. Also the self empty feature is nice. It will empty and charge itself as needed to finish the job you schedule.

It works well however at times can be a little louder especially when it docks once cleaning is completed. The vacuum does pick up well and is easy to set up a schedule via the app.

This works great. I love the automatic dirt disposal. The mapping function has allowed me to set up specific areas to be vacuumed on different nights. The suction on the i7 has been very good and seems to remove quite a bit of debris from the carpet. So far so good.

Purchased this because my wife was wanting one. Yes, I gave her a vacuum for Christmas. Probably one of the best gifts she received. Very happy with its ability on hard and soft surfaces.

So far, we're not super impressed. It complains a lot about a stuck bumper but the bumper never actually seems to be stuck. It even seems to have an issue getting back onto the base. When it does vacuum, it seems to do okay, but answering all of error messages and given how slow it usually is... probably better and faster to just get out the regular vacuum. In general, not impressed so far. But we're still trying with it.

I loved it. I bought same product for my sister. Highly recommended.
