life changer! have a large black lab that sheds like crazy. was vacuuming the house everyday. the Roomba took some time to map the house, about 3 days in total and it got stuck in the slider door tracks several times so I had to watch it in those areas. once the mapping was complete I was able to set barriers before the tracks. now everyday at 10am the roomba vacuums the whole house. takes about 1.5 hours and it empties itself several times (so highly recommend the base unit) the base unit needs a replacement bag every month or so and will accept 3rd party bags. House is very clean now and without dog hair everywhere.

This thing is awesome! Did quite a bit of research on the robot vacuums and couldn’t pass up the sale for Black Friday with $200 off. Would never pay full price for this but this was a good deal. Ended up mapping our 2,400 sq ft home with all the Christmas trees (yes we have a few of them) and decorations up. Then I was able to name the rooms and select “no-go zones” to stay away from the trees and Christmas village and train, etc. I’ll note that we also have 2 Dalmatians and are constantly vacuuming and I really feel like this has significantly cut down how much we vacuum now with our traditional shark vacuums. Love this thing and would absolutely recommend it....on sale of course!

I have been wanting one of these for years, and finally got one for Christmas. Best present ever, I love it!! It is so nice to have this little machine do it's thing all on it's own and saves me so much time.

Was not sure how I would like it as our home is a ranch and wide spread 3 bedrooms three 1/2 bathrooms. It took me awhile to get the hang of the mapping the house out. Takes all day to vacuum my house as it has to go charge after about an hour 1/2! That is ok now until I figure out how to only do certain rooms. The rugs are not that good at cleaning but my house is all hardwood! We have 2 mini Australian Shepherds it does a great job picking there up! Easy cleaning it after a few uses. Only had it about a month. So far I like it since I hurt my back it is a lifesaver so far! Now I might get the iRobot mop! So expensive though!

I was skeptical about these types of vacuums since I have a dog and the tumbleweeds of hair fill up our Dyson fast. After talking to a bunch of people and doing some research I put it on my wish list for Christmas. So happy I did because it’s amazing! Setup was easy with the app, ran a few training sessions so it would map out our room layout, labeled the rooms and set up the cleaning schedule. It does a great job cleaning the hardwoods, carpet and the throw rugs. You have to make sure the ends of throw rugs are secure because it can get caught up if it isn’t. It returns to its base when it needs to empty its bin or charge and then it will resume cleaning afterwards. I love coming home to zero hair balls roaming around my house! Great purchase.

We are very satisfied with our new Roomba. It not only gets every area when and where you want but also leaves beautiful vacuum lines! We couldn’t be more happy with it. Worth every penny we spent on it. Also love how it empties itself and goes back to charge when it knows it won’t have enough power to finish the job. It maps out the house so detailed and even lets you know what areas were more dirty than others! Another great feature is you can schedule it to clean whatever area of your house on a specific time and day of the week. Seriously one of my favorite purchases yet of a house cleaning item!!

It works great. It is December 19,2024 and it has been running for 13 months. I got an error message today and had to clean the content holder on unit. Did not know I could set up on cell phone. Set it up. The phone will tell you what is wrong to fix unit.

Huge time saver! Does a good job helping me keep up with the dog hair. I ended up buying two (one for up and the other for downstairs). The only down side is it stirs up more dust.

I purchased the E6 first because I did not know what to expect from the Roomba compared to our Dyson. I went over the carpet several times with the Dyson to make sure the Roomba could handle the clean floors. What I didn’t expect was for the little guy to pull even more dog hair than the Dyson did. After two runs of the Dyson, the Roomba still pulled out so much hair the cleaning bin filled up three more times. I was so impressed I took the E6 back and got the i7+. The self emptying makes it so we no longer have to have any intervention with vacuuming at home. Our carpet has never looked better. It’s a high price of entry. But I feel worth every penny. How much is your time worth?

So convenient. Set it up and go. It runs on its own and doesn't require constant clearing of the trash as it has a collector.

Decided to move my Shark robot vacuum to a different floor and I bought Roomba i7+ as replacement. I also have a Dreame L10 for the same floor, which I use to wash it. So I am not new to vacuum robots. I thought I was going safe with a Roomba product, as they were the leaders when cleaning robots were designed. I was wrong. Let's start with the only one good thing of this item: very good vacuum performance, I have 2 dogs and 1 cat and I don't see any hair on the floor. Now we get to the cons, which are very annoying. 1) Extremely slow to clean large areas; 2) very loud in emptying the bin; 3) not even once I found the robot back to the base during a cleaning job: gets stuck practically everywhere (I had to create no go zones under the couch), the other robots are able to go over my stool chairs bases and my kitchen chairs (which have bars instead of feet), this one gets stuck. The last point is forcing me to use the robot when I am at home, which defies the advantage of having a robot, I would not buy again,

    Great Vac (with some glitches)

We love many things about this Vacuum. Pros: The automatic bin empty is fabulous. The redesign of the "brushes" makes removing the hair that gets wound around them much easier than previous models. The brushes don't get clogged up with dust and hair as easily as prior models. The room to room programming is fabulous, when it works properly. The slimmer design fits under more furniture. This model does not get stuck on things, such as the base of a floor light, as often as older models. When it successfully get's itself to a requested room, and finishes it's task, the Vac does a pretty decent job, especially if it is run often. BUT... Cons: We add, remove, and relocate floor items from our rooms regularly. A chair pulled out from the dining table, an ottoman moved, etc. throws the the Vacuum off, causing It to "wander" aimlessly, as it attempts to find it's way. Sometimes it makes it to the requested destination, sometimes it goes back into re- mapping mode, and sometimes it just attempts to return to it's home base. (Not always successfully.) When the vacuum does find it's way, it often starts cleaning the requested room, then goes back towards it's base, only to return to complete the room it just left. This odd, but ok when it returns to base to empty it's bin, but not when it leaves it's job to wander the house. Perhaps this vac would work better in a small house where things are left in the same place. In the large and ever changing environment we live in, this Vacuum is an iffy choice. When it succeeds in it's job, we absolutely love it. Sadly, we can not leave it alone to do it's job. We still have to close doors, put up blocks, and heavily supervise when it runs. The joy of it mapping out the house, and if it running independently is a fail for us. Personally, I find myself frustrated with this model, and wishing for my older one, (until it comes time to clean it's bin, or brushes.) Others in my family don't seem to mind the struggle to get this Vac to do what it's supposed to do. Hopefully, in time, the performance of this vac will improve. Overall, I do still recommend this model because it's good points are SO great.
