Awesome although the mapping is a bit frustrating and takes a few trial runs in order to set up rooms. Love the self emptying and the remembering where it left off should it need a charge before completing the job Sometimes it’s gets workers and will start and immediately return home or say path is blocked although it’s not. Doesn’t happen too often

Great product and very convenient scheduling feature

It saves time and does a great job. We have two dogs that shed tremendously and the i7 handles it easily. It also take the dog dust and smell out of the air and carpets. We had one in the past that would not handle the hair, but this one lives up to it claim. I would recommend it highly and the dump station is must. It saves time dumping the tray and gives you freedom to do other things. The mapping feature is also added benefit so you can do each room when you want it done.

This is our first robotic vacuum and we are not overly impressed. After the initial mapping run, the rooms are defined pretty well. Surprisingly, on the very first vacuum run, one of the rollers was sliced. Forty bucks later the new rollers were also sliced on the first run. That's way too expensive each time I use it! Duct tape and glue will have to work. Yes you can set schedules and zones, but it still must be supervised quite a bit. If the map has a missed area, you must remap the entire house? It can see drop-offs and room divisions, but cannot tell the difference between wood and carpet? It also leaves clumps of hair on carpet. Yes it empties itself, but after a job, I still must clean the rollers, wheels, caster, dirt-cup and filter. What was supposed to make our life easier, seemingly just made it more expensive.

We have 3 dogs and it’s near impossible to keep the floors clean. Since we purchased the Roomba we don’t even worry about it anymore. Once it mapped the house we were able to set it to clean the bedrooms Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 3:00 pm and the rest of the house every morning at 7:30. Our floors have never been so clean! It has been life changing!

I have a Samsung "roomba" and it is wonderful. This iRobot Roomba is AWFUL! Cleans ok on tile/wood floors but HORRIBLE on carpet. On carpet the Roomba brushes the dirt but never actually vacuums it up. After it is done you have little dirt piles sitting all over your carpet. Plus the software is EXTREMELY GLITCHY and at least 50% of the time it errors out and the cleaning job never starts or quits early. WOULD GIVE THIS A ZERO if I could.

So far good, given 3 stars because just haven’t used it that much to have complete opinion. I was hoping to see more suction on the tile floor.Seems missing a lot. I will have better idea when I have more experience with it.

Works well, however the J7 is definitely worth the upgrade.

It does a good job. Much better than the regular i3 I previously bought. It is really easy to set no go zones once you map your space out. This helps when you have rugs or furniture that it might consistently get stuck under. Only complaint I have is that I have dogs and it will leave clumps of hair from time to time. This seems to be a well known problem.

I didn't know what to think before I bought it but now I'm a believer! It roams all around and learns as it goes. I like that it knows when it needs to return to the charging station and then it discharges the dirt automatically. There is a small amount of noise but that is not at all objectionable. My two dogs don't really like it, but I love it because it picks up all their hair.

We are extremely happy with our iRobot! It has done a great job with dog hair. We keep it busy.

Gets the job done very nicely Frees up a lot of time

I was worried about not having WIFI because we live in the country. But "Florence" works great! I love coming home activating "Florence" and she cleans while I eat supper. This is the greatest thing ever. I love the fact that she goes back to be emptied. We do have to help her sometimes return to base but I think this is because we have a large one story 3000 sq ft L shaped home. Great Buy!!!

I purchased this with an exchange of an earlier model. I'm really please with it performance. It is quieter and has better mapping. It first run took about 2 hours as it mapped each of the rooms I was going to clean. Now I can select a specific room to clean if I wish. I love the emptying feature. Now I schedule it to run and forget. Now cheap but worth it.
