does an excellent job cleaning. Roomba does need to give more instructions on how to get it to go where you want it. Finally have it figured out but a few helpful hints would have been appreciated. Just don't give up - it does a great job cleaning

You don’t know how dirty your resident really is until have Roomba. I have wood floors and a Shepard dog. Roomba is keeping up dirt and fur. The self empty feature is a must have. Roomba can get under beds and places a self vacuum may miss.

Look, $700 for a vacuum that will probably last 5 years sounds a little high. But with a little elbow grease, it will map even a complicated home and can spot clean on command. It’s not terribly loud, gets into even hard to reach places, and empties itself (which is key). So far so good!

Excellent product, worth every penny and does a thorough job working and doesn’t get stuck. As importantly, it’s done an excellent job in mapping my house and vacuuming the correct rooms after assigning labels. It works well with my google home.

Have a iRobot/roomba prior to this one. This is a great improvement. The automatic empty feature is wonderful . This model cleans considerably better than the older model. And the mapping feature is really nice. Might get another one for our second floor. Pricey is the only down part.

Defective right out of the box. Manufacturer replaced part but I don’t think it works as well as the refurbished i3 it replaced. Suction seems subpar.

I updated from another (cheaper) brand that I was happy with, but got damaged in a move. The iRobot is so much better! It works faster and more efficiently and I don't have to clean the hair/pet hair from the roller brush every dang day. The automatic disposal is so worth the upgrade!

I studied, I asked, I googled and then I did it - I spent the money on "Freedom" the IRobot 7+ and I received freedom from vacuuming! My back no longer hurts from vacuuming... I can tell Alexa to have Freedom vacuum the kitchen and the living room...and leave for the office. REMEMBER - ALWAYS look over the room (if you have a dog, etc) because there is no insurance for Roomba running over dog poo or in my case - a glue pad for bugs. I was shocked when my phone notified me that Freedom was stuck. He was - in a glue pad for bugs. The way Roomba is made is awesome and I was able to clean it all out. A week or so later (after hours of cleaning the whole house) I got a message that the rollers needed cleaning - by following a video on YouTube I was able to easily remove the hair that had been collected around the rollers. It maps the house, you name the rooms :) IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT IT - THINK NO MORE ...GET IT AT BEST BUY - SO WORTH THE MONEY! I AM FREE!

The I7+ is a fantastic machine. It cleans better than I thought it would. It operates quietly and does a thorough job. Set up only takes a few minutes and the app helps you customize how and when it operates.

Great robot vacuum. It works very well on carpet and hard floors. Does the entire house by itself, recharges by itself when it needs too and automatically empties the dirt into the disposal bag by itself. All you have to do is press the start button and let it go to work.

Amazing product overall! Upgraded to the i7 from the Roomba 960 and it was an excellent choice. Smart navigation is a lot more better and convenient with its “Smart Maps” feature which now allows me to target rooms of my choice. Amazing upgrade from the 960. Bought this roomba a few weeks back and even after 12,000 sq. ft. of cleaning I have not had to touch it even once to clean or dump out the dust bin!! Hefty price but if you’re going to buy the i7, do yourself the favor and buy the i7+ which has the dustbin. 5 star for the product itself however I’m going to give it a 4 star because of the hefty price.

First, the good. I purchased this after trying Shark's latest and greatest robot vacuum. It was a vast improvement over that one. It mapped my house really well, and proceeds to vacuum in a methodical way. The cleaning is pretty good, but not great. I like the app integration, and being able to schedule cleanings from my phone. Now the bad. It just doesn't clean very well for such an expensive vacuum. Also, it's loud AF. ESPECIALLY on hard floors. I ended up returning this model, and going with the Roomba S9+. I didn't want to spend the extra for the S9+, but I'm telling you, it's worth every penny. That model is an improvement over this one in every single way.

I had a shark vacuum robot. It wasn’t bad at all. I was always forgetting to empty it out every so often. I wanted something vacuumed in straight lines and not just all over the place. This thing is awesome!! It maps out the floor plan and empty itself Afterwards. It’s definitely worth it!!

I’m not 100% satisfied with this product. It’s not what I expected. I don’t think it’s worth the money. It miss spots and I don’t like how it goes to another room before completing the room it’s in and goes back to the same room it has already cleaned. I do like not having vacuum myself and how it gets under furniture. So I’m going to keep it for these reasons. I’m glad it was $525 off. I for sure would’ve returned it if I had paid the regular price of $899.

Been using it for about a month and it works flawlessly on my carpet in my apartment. It leaves rows like a lawnmower business would and it looks very professional and clean to all guests. I have a cat and it deals with the cat hair perfectly as well.

It cleans well but does get lost from time to time. We are still in the process of moving into a new house so furniture moving/ adding is still occurring. This is probably a contributing factor. Still it is overall a good buy and would do it again.

This thing is great! I love the self cleaning feature after it gets done vacuuming. The only downside is that you have to clean the roomba unit rather frequently because it gets clogged pretty quickly with 2 pups

This is hands down the best way to keep your floors vacuumed -- even empties itself. The GPS feature allows you to tell it to clean specific areas at anytime from the convenient app or can run automated cleaning schedules. This is truly the lazy person's dream for keeping floors vacuumed!

I’ve had this vacuum for a little over a month now and it does do a decent job of cleaning. I recently had got rid of a roomba 980 and the suction sounded like it was actually a vacuuming. The i7+ doesn’t even sound like it’s suctioning at all. I know iRobot was obviously trying to make a quieter vacuum but I’m not so sure I’m convinced it’s doing a better job than my old vacuum. After doing some research, it doesn’t look like the i7+ has carpet boost which the 980 has, so maybe that’s why it’s louder? Anyways, it does do a decent job because it’s picking up most things I throw at it. Plus it’s a huge bonus to has the automatic dirt dispenser. Overall if you have the money to drop, I would get this machine
