This is hands down the best way to keep your floors vacuumed -- even empties itself. The GPS feature allows you to tell it to clean specific areas at anytime from the convenient app or can run automated cleaning schedules. This is truly the lazy person's dream for keeping floors vacuumed!

I’ve had this vacuum for a little over a month now and it does do a decent job of cleaning. I recently had got rid of a roomba 980 and the suction sounded like it was actually a vacuuming. The i7+ doesn’t even sound like it’s suctioning at all. I know iRobot was obviously trying to make a quieter vacuum but I’m not so sure I’m convinced it’s doing a better job than my old vacuum. After doing some research, it doesn’t look like the i7+ has carpet boost which the 980 has, so maybe that’s why it’s louder? Anyways, it does do a decent job because it’s picking up most things I throw at it. Plus it’s a huge bonus to has the automatic dirt dispenser. Overall if you have the money to drop, I would get this machine

Very happy with our purchase. It's the gift that keeps giving and has saved us countless hours from vacuuming. We have a dog (Beagle) that sheds and a newborn, so finding time to vacuum can be a struggle. The i7+ now allows us to click a button on our phones and select which rooms to clean up. At first I struggled with the high price, but when I broke down how much time and energy we saved, it definitely was worth it. The cleaning is very good and picks up the majority of items in one pass. The great part is we have it run at a greater frequency (3 times a week) than we would ever do by hand vacuuming ourselves. So, if it does miss something I am confident it'll get it the next run, or if I don't want to wait, I'll tell it to clean that room again. The self empty container is another added convenience factor that we appreciate. When it empties (about 10-15 seconds if that), the noise level is equivalent to a normal vacuum cleaner. It may seem louder, but that's because the Roomba is much quieter when cleaning than a normal vacuum.

I have a dog that sheds brings in all kinds of dirt. This i7 has been a lifesaver. It does take some time to map, sometime cleaning the same area over and over again and getting stuck on furniture etc. But once it gets a hang, it cleans very well. It has cut down effort and time taken to clean by a large amount.

We love the bot s it helps keep dog hair cleaned up. It does get stuck on bathroom rugs, under our recliner and some other issues, so we have to close a door and go through a pick up sequence and get everything ready each night. Works well enough.

This is really an amazing product! Engineering behind building these robots is definitely solid. I was using old Roomba one of their oldest iRobot which use to randomly roam in my living room. It was good in cleaning though and cheaper too. But i7+ and the mop.. wow!! Seriously wow!! I can feel the difference how much they have improvised. These robots understand what they are doing. I have 2700 sq ft area to vacuum and mop, they took initial 10 hours to complete the mapping and everything but while they were vacuuming, I was able to see they don’t bang against wall, their sensors are so perfect! I love them watching while they work together. When they come back to home location, wow! Their docking is so perfect like they can see what they are doing. I am really happy with iRobot!!

iRobot Roomba i7 is a great little robot vacuum! The updated features are so nice to not have to empty every time used, and the suction seems stronger that previous models. Does a great job! Got it on sale so great savings too!

Rosie has learned her way around the house. She gets under most all of the chairs. She does have some issues in the dining room, but she gets around all of the legs of the chairs as well as underneath the table. We do have an oriental rug in the dining room that makes it hard for her to maneuver, but she makes everything clean. She gets all the cat litter in the laundry room and does an excellent job on the carpeting in the living room as well as the hardwood floors in the kitchen. Best of all because she does such a good job. My wife does not have to push the shark around the house to clean it helps save her arthritic back.

Easy to setup and use. It does a great job with mapping rooms and allows for easy alteration of boundaries. It deep cleans carpet and works great with dog hair. Minimal maintenance and highly recommend the self-emptying model.

So far I love it. "Karen" has been at my home for a short time as of yet, but so far has been great. Easy to setup and get going. She has only gotten lost once, but that was user error and easily resolved.

Great vacuum! I have two German shepherds and was constantly vacuuming! Now I can be at work and let this bad boy get the job done! Picks up the dog hair and leaves my hardwoods spotless! Great investment and beat purchase I have made! Great job iRobot! Highly recommended!!! A++++

Good value at the time it was on sale, Once I program it to run when I am gone I am sure it will be great. It does pick up all of the dog hair and seems to charge quickly.

I was hesitant to spend so much for a robotic vacuum. I thought I wanted the s9, but didn’t want to spend that much. Then I thought I would purchase a more reasonable but still highly rated Roomba. However, after researching and reading many reviews decided that I wouldn’t settle for less than the iRobot Roomba i7+ This is the real deal. I am very critical of most things I purchase. This machine does what it says it does. It has everything you could want in a robotic vacuum. Although they claim it’s much more powerful, I can’t imagine how the one more expensive model can be any better. This thing is perfect for my first robotic vacuum. The mapping is impressive. Tell it where to vacuum, and it does what a robot does. It truly has a brain of its own. The automatic dirt disposal is worth the extra cost. I also bought the mop that I’m not so impressed with. But you won’t be disappointed with the i7+

I was super excited to get this vacuum. I have been wanting it forever and couldn't wait to get started. I had very high expectations and from most aspects, it has met all of them. The only complaint I have is that it took a little longer than I would have preferred to map out my house and become autonomous to where I could choose specific zones to clean. With that being said, now that it is mapped out and knows my floorplan, it does a pretty darn good job. You just need to be patient for the first week or so until you learn all of the quirks. One specification I wish it has was the ability to see it moving around on the map as its cleaning so that you can monitor its progress from the app when you are away. Something similar to the blue dot on good maps would be sweet!

so my current i7 is actually my second one the first one arrived and was not working correctly, i was able to go through best buy and exchange it for a new one, after i received my 2nd i7 i loved him. i like the schedule options the app offers, he finds his base well and ive only had to rescue him twice, once was when he got lost in my house the second was when he got tangled in a shoelace. Roomba does great on carpets and pretty good on hard floors my only complaint with cleaning is that he will fling bigger debris across the floor with his brush. The biggest drawback is how expensive his replacement bags and brushes are, when the time comes i will probably just order off of amazon instead of irobot. All and all, i am satisfied with my purchase and my life has becone drastically easier with my new roomba around.

This is an excellent vacuum and is the best so far that i got from iRoomba. The Dirt disposal works like a charm. The mapping of this model is superior than the cheaper ones and it is a good return on investment. Go for it and you wont look back.

I love this Roomba! It does an amazing job of mapping your house and cleans really well. I love using the Irobot app with this so I can choose which rooms to clean, even while at work. In addition, I love that the roomba has the tower and can empty itself after cleanning!

This was a splurge for me, for sure. However, with 2 dogs that like to shed, hardwood floors, and long working hours, I wanted something automatic because I have no interest in spending my free time cleaning the floor. For me, the added waste bin on the dock is worth the money so you don’t have to manually empty the bin. After owning this for a while, my assessment is that it works very well. It is short enough to fit underneath my couch and entertainment center and get most of the debris and dog hair off the floor. As expected, the little cracks and crevices it can’t get to I still have to hit with my handheld vac. It goes over transitions fine, but it will get stuck if any curtains or blankets are trailing on the floor. I also noticed if it keeps trying to empty the bin, it’s usually because there’s something stuck in it. I love this vacuum so much I’m considering getting another for the upstairs rooms in my house.

Had the i7 for nearly a month, and was very satisfied, did a great job changing over from carpet to hardwood floors to tile! Mapped rooms in 3 runs! And I have a big house! So I bought another one for downstairs! ... and the convenience of auto dumping is truly a luxury!

One good thing about this vacuum us I don’t have to touch the dustbin and empties itself. The box claims it picks up dog hair I have an Irish setter who is a moderate shedder. The vacuum gathers the dog hair into a ball and leaves it on the floor. The back-and-forth action is better than the zigzag the older ones used I’ve tried many versions since my last one died still haven’t found one really worth it. I also have a area rug all the other vacuums could not get on it once it left it this one can’t get onto the area rug.
