This vacuum is great. It maps out the rooms after a couple of seemingly random passes. Afterwards, it does a great job of cleaning. The vac returns to the base and empties itself for the next cleaning cycle. I love this hands off feature.

We had an earlier version of the IRobot Roomba. This one is so much improved. It maps the rooms and comes out and cleans on the days it’s programmed. Cleans tiles, hardwoods and carpet. It empties itself and does a great job. Really pleased we bought it!

When it works, it’s great. 3 months in and it fails to complete a job 1 in 4 times. Now it needs parts to fix. Not much confidence in it lasting long past the warranty period if I have to replace parts this quickly. Plus the rollers do not prevent hair clogs. Roomba told me it should be cleaned once a week. I only have it running 3 days a week.

I have an originalish generation roomba this is replacing...I love love the intelligent zones and mapping this robot does. Besides this being a self emptying model everything about it is a huge step up from my last gem roomba

This Roomba can actually finish a job consistently without getting caught on something, stopping because it’s full, battery dying in the middle of a room far away from the base, etc. Looks like Roomba finally got it right with this one!

takes a few, full house runs, to learn and map your house. those runs can be frustrating as the robot is learning, but once done, the robot functions flawlessly. cleaning and self emptying with the app or alexa.

Bought this for my father and he LOVES ❤️ it. He has two dogs and it really helps with the doghair.

The IRobot Roomba i7 was easy to set up and has been everything as advertised. I would recommend this product for anyone with Luxury Vinyl Plank floors. The i7 also handles the rugs we have in our gathering room extremely well.

Works great for all of the dog hair on the hard surfaces on our house. We still need to vacuum the rugs by hand but it definitely cuts down on the frequency of our cleaning! The smart map feature is great! The self emptying feature is awesome (when it works) since I don't have to worry about any maintenance but once every 2 weeks to clean the air filter. About 4 months after our purchase the robot stopped communicating with the tower. Contacted iRobot and they sent us a new one right away. 2 months after that the new one won't empty into the tower either. We are in contact with customer service again. In summary the robot is awesome, the tower is okay and the customer service has been great about figuring out a solution to our problem.

We love our Roomba. It cleans every day for us with no problems. Decreased dust in our house has been great for allergies. We have a large dog and Roomba is great at getting the dog hair from our concrete floors. We do not have carpet so we have no experience in that area.

A Dollar Store Dream Crushed: A Disappointing Vacuum Robot I'm astounded that a device costing this much could perform so poorly. It's as if I've been swindled, paying a premium for a product that's barely better than a dollar store broom. The constant trips back to the dock are infuriating. It's like watching a hamster on a wheel, going nowhere fast. And don't even get me started on the weak suction power. It's a sad excuse for a vacuum cleaner. I expected a reliable, efficient cleaning partner, but instead, I got a glorified dust bunny herder. It's truly disappointing.

Great Vacuum. Had an older ECOVACS before and this is streets ahead. Smart mapping, zoning and programmable schedules, all while integrating in to Alexa.

Save yourself some money and buy a Dyson stick! This is fine for a top clean while you are at work. Don’t leave anything on the floor!

This Roomba has been a great help in maintaining the cleanliness of our laminate flooring. It is very easy to use and does a good job. Some corners and along the edges of walls gets missed, but the majority of the room is taken care of nicely!

The concept is excellent, but this unit still has a few issues. It completes the job and returns to the charging station about 40% of the time. It usually stops before it gets to the charging station, and I have to put it back manually. Also, when it makes it back on its own, it does not line up correctly and can't charge.

This unit does everything as advertised. It was amazing to watch it build the map and then park itself for recharging. If that wasn't enough, it emptied itself.

Finally, no more manually cleaning out the older model. This is what I expect when I think about hands free cleaning. Send it out daily to vacuum, and twice a week have the M6 mop afterwards. I read my books, and robots do the work.

It is amazing how well it has learned our house and does take care of surface dirt well. Can be a bit noisy sometimes and aggressive in bumping into things. Amazing how it can work on multiple levels of the house.

we’ve owned 4 different roomba’s over the years and this one is by far the best. I schedule it to clean certain rooms on certain days. It integrates well with Alexa so I can say, “Alexa, tell the roomba to vacuum the kitchen.”

I had resisted getting a robot vacuum because of the price, but I glad that I took the plunge. Setup was quick and the Roomba was on it way. Now instead of having to get out the big vacuum, the Roomba is make life so much easier. The self emptying really makes it easy.
