I was very surprised how well this works, mainly bought it too keep up with cat hair, and other dust and it was able to do so better than expected. Price is tough though.

We took the time to learn the set-up process, and have divided our living space into several zones. It does a good job with basic cleaning. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats so there is quite a bit of basic cleaning regularly, I am amazed that none of the animals seem to care when the machine is cleaning, We really only know it is running when it self-docks and ejects all the collected debris onto the base. I should mention that our downstairs is almost all hardwood floors. I'll gladly trade-in if it evolves to climb stairs.

So far it’s working perfect goes off every morning at 10o’clock and runs for like an hour and a half goes goes back to the station no issues noise level is a little bit higher than our last one but still not bad

As with most people I did my Youtube video research and narrowed it down to two devices that I was willing to pay the money for. I am glad that we chose this one!! We named the Roomba "Hazel" for an old 70's show. Hazel took about 3 days to map our downstairs area, it consists of hardwood and carpet. She did such a good job..... that we had to buy a second unit for upstairs. The unit upstairs is called Jeffery from the Fresh Prince. It took Jeffery a week to have the upstairs mapped out and he had to charge significantly more than Hazel. I attribute that to upstairs being predominantly carpet. Under the beds have never been cleaner!! I will say upstairs and downstairs carpet is immaculate. At this point, it is a WORTHWHILE buy!!!!

Handles the dirt the dogs track in, even removing dirt from the holes of my knotty hickory floors! It moves easily between wood floors to rugs. But the dogs hair tore one rollers, I returned it to Best Buy, and they replace the robot (robot and dust bin are interchangeable- but you have rename robot in app). It did it again, I called Roomba, they were aware of the problem and are sending me redesigned rollers for free! It does get clogged on new shedding wool rug, so I blocked from that room. New robot is mapping my home much faster and empties itself better! Love it! Bags add up fast, you can buy reusable bag on Etsy- messy. The new Shark robot boasts rollers that don’t get hair wound around them, for less $!

Does work well with hard wood floor but needs to do at least two passes

Absolutely amazing product! Works great on both hard wood and carpets. Love the ability to block out sections and the ability to start from by phone when we are not home.

This is an outstanding vacuum. It navigates around the house with no problems, It goes back to the home base to recharge and empty the bag with no assistance. I would definitely recommend this vacuum. The only down side is it quite expensive.

Great robot vacuum can map your house, you can set np clean zone, can set favorite routine. Knows how to recharge before continues. Haven't have to change the dust bin yet... That recurrent cost prob will annoy me but there are prob third party one that I can buy. Does take up a bigger space but at least not monstrosity like those with mop included. Those ones base is just way too big for my condo. You need a mcmasion to house those haha. Would recommend, app easy to use as well. Can link with Google home.

WE have 3 kids and I usually have to sweep the kitchen floor 3 times a day due to all the crumbs and stuff. Then I also find myself vacuuming the carpets at least twice a week, but I feel that along doesn't keep up with the crumbs and dust and such. So I was looking for something that would keep the house clean on regular basis and save me time. The Roomba I7 did it! I wasn't sure if the autoamtic dirt disposal was worth it, but it really is! We run it daily and it just takes care of things without having to unload the dirt. We can schedule it and have it vacuum the house overnight. I've also found that the house is now less dusty with this thing running regularly. I highly recommend it!

It took a few times to run around the house to learn the layout. The cleaning is great on our tile and hard wood floors. I did have doubts about the product but I would recommend it to anyone based on my results with it.

Love this robot vacuum makes keeping the house clean a breeze. I've had some slight issues with it getting stuck on thicker carpet but have been able to power through for the most part.

I resisted getting a Roomba for years for several reasons. I didn't think it would match the suction of a regular vacuum. I also thought it would only work for very simply floor plans without a lot of furniture and other objects. Finally, I figured it would take a lot of effort to keep it up and running. I was wrong on every point. This machine has been a game changer in the overall upkeep of my house. I'm no longer embarrassed by unswept floors and dusty baseboards. It takes very little time to make sure there are no cords etc. to prevent Roomba from doing its job. The rest is automatic. I should have bought one years ago.

What a lifesaver this is. Love that we can set it while we're during the day and come home to clean floors. No issues with it at all and having the ability to send it to specific rooms is the best.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. The mapping and self empty features are very cool. It keeps the floor clean so you don’t have to do a thorough vacuuming nearly as often.

If you are looking to have some free time while still being able to vacuum?!?!? Look no further. This is a must have. I love mine so much I ended up buying another one. I have multi level floors in my house. This particular model is able to map different floors in my house. So, i have this one for upstairs and downstairs and another model Roomba for my main level. I can multitask while i am vacuuming… going shopping ( use your phone to start or stop), get ready for the day, cook, or just relax!!!!!

Works decent. It gets hung up a lot around the house. It took less time than expected to learn my home and layout a map. Overall pretty happy.

The scheduling and mapping make this product perfect! Just make sure you thoroughly map your home and set up a weekly/monthly schedule and let the Roomba do the work. The only physical part is picking up clutter before a run.

Doesn't seem to be able to get back to the home before it runs out of battery.

Got a refurbished one and its a bargain for the price and the features
