Got a refurbished one and its a bargain for the price and the features

I've owned several Roombas over the years and I always like to upgrade a bit when one goes down. Each series gets better in my experience. I've been itching for a wifi model with mapping and when my old Roomba became too difficult I took the plunge with this model. Our house has a central air intake grate in the hall between all the rooms and no Roomba has been able to cross it... until now! I can vacuum the entire floor and set the Roomba to vacuum when everyone leaves gour the day, through my smarthome system. This unit adjusts for every type of rug and hard floor in my house. It even handles the bathroom rugs with ease! I am a very satisfied Roomba owner!

We had one of the early Roombas many years ago - boy, have they come a long way! This does a great job cleaning both hard floors and carpet. Even though our Shark upright is of course stronger, it's honestly rare we feel the need to vacuum ourselves. We just run this a lot since we have 3 pets shedding and 2 kids leaving crumbs everywhere. Minor gripes: Takes way too many runs to map an area that doesn't include its base. Bigger things (LEGOs) jam its rollers kind of easily. And I find I have to clean its dirt sensors a lot. But compared to having to vacuum ourselves? It's still a huge win.

This excellent iRobot was a blast setting up/mapping the house. It runs quietly and does an outstanding job picking up dog hair!

Vacuums well. Maps the whole house automatically to be about to send it to any or all rooms whenever you want and on a schedule. And it empties itself at the end of each session

I love this vacuum, it works well for those in-between times from vacuuming with a traditional vacuum. I like that they added the base that will automatically empty the vacuum

This vacuum is amazing. Does a great job. We have three German shepherds and they shed like crazy. This vacuum gets the hair off carpet and hard wood floors great.

Works perfectly. Does nice straight lines and had my upper and lower levels mapped after only two times. It's pricy but worth every penny. I can't find a thing to complain about!

Complete floors cleaned. Self empty feature is a must have. Reasonablely quiet. Works great on all types of floors, carpet, rugs and hardwood flooring. Irobot is the best!

Love this vacuum. We have three pets and I have not seen any pet hair since we plugged it in. It learned the layout of the house very quickly. Love the self emptying feature.

A little noisy when the bin empties but so worth it. Reminds you when maintenance is due super easy to own. Mapping is a BIG improvement from an older model I had.

Great product works good for pet hair. The program is easy to use and it is great at following its own mapping

These are the voyages of i7. Its one hour missing, to explore strange new rooms. To seek out old dust and new tufts of hair. To boldly go where no vacuum has gone before! And that's exactly what it does. After a couple of trips around the Delta quadrant, it creates a map - making guesses at boundries. Users can edit the boundaries via the mobile app, name rooms and set up exploration/vacuum plans by day and room. Then this curious little explorer is off to seek out dust under every bed and piece of furniture.

i owned the 980 prior to the i7. the 980 had more suction power, but the i7 has some great features like disposing the dirt, and mapping rooms. I wish you were able to create no vacuum areas through the app.

Bought to pick up mostly dog hair. It does okay on hardwood floor but not so great on carpet and area rugs.

I bought this to help keep the house at an acceptable level. Without it and having a Golden Retriever meant tumbleweeds of hair rolling through the house. My house consist of all hard surface floors with area rugs though out. Now I never see dog hair with the exception of my area rugs. What happens is with the dryness of winter and static in the house, dog hair can sometimes attach itself to a rug in the form of little rolls of hair. I can tell the vacuum is hitting those areas but the static is more powerful than the suction causing it to roll in the wheels but not get picked up. I still recommend this as I rarely need to pull out the big vac to clean.

Easy to install and use. Does make a little more noise than I expected. Cleans well. Mapping feature is of good use

Like the features on the new vacuum because it’s able to mop also and a lot quieter than the other one we purchased.

Honestly it's expensive but I have dark, almost black hardwoods and they show every speck of dirt. This guy runs every Monday - Friday when I'm out, and I've hidden it behind a chair. It will get stuck on some stupid crap until it fully learns your home, and you give it "no zones". I had the version that you had to empty the actual machine, and that was annoying. I also have a dog, and that proves to not be an issue with picking up her hair. Bonus points for being able to give it a name. It's always nice to get a push alert that (your sister, enemy, ex, boss) just finished cleaning your floors.

We initially had purchased robot vac from a different manufacturer. It was a bit more expensive and had better specs..for example, it had Lidar, more suction, larger beater brush etc. Basically, it didn't work. Would back out of the dock... clean for a while then get confused and need to be manually brought back to the base. Couldn't get a full cleaning run on our 3200 sq ft house over 2 weeks. Worked with etc support, firmware updates etc. We returned it and got the i7+ with the vacuum base. Net/net.. this works flawlessly, right from the first time set up. I was not keen to pay for the additional vacuum base with the bag, but happy we got it. Definitely recommend the product.
