Great robot! Have a rug that had a ton of dog hair in it, and after two runs through, all of the hair was removed. The auto empty feature is amazing.

I bought this because of the pandemic quarantine. I’m used having someone clean my home and it was too much for me to do on my own. Love it and especially the automatic emptying feature. It takes a few cleanings to map your home but once it does you can tell it to clean specific rooms at different if you don’t want your entire house cleaned at the same time. My cat was a little scared at first but now he is intrigued and follows it around. It’s our new little companion. I definitely recommend this product. I haven’t had it for that long but have used it 3 times so far.

We first purchased the i7 without the auto disposal and was not very impressed. It seemed like the dirt bin and battery were smaller than the previous version, so it would not clean the whole house before it would need to be emptied or charged. We returned and upgraded to the auto disposal and could not be more pleased! It does not do a perfect job, but it is pretty close. My wife used to sweep every night before bed and I don’t think she has swept once since the new purchase.

Overall, a good experience with is ability to pick-up…if you do 2 runs. We have a mix of carpet and ceramic tile so it took 4 runs to truly map the areas. Fairly quiet while running and sticks to its patterns. Main issue and not 5 stars is its failure to pick up smaller particles. My wife does lots of crafting and it does not pick up glitter at all.

Does a good job. Only took three runs to fully map the house. It cleans well after multiple animals and kids. It struggles going from hardwood to thick carpet, but usually finds a way around. It does seem to get tangled with hair and string and this impacts the soft rubber rollers both in the middle and wrapped around the ends. You will need to ensure you are taking the rollers out every few days to remove any wrapped threads/hair. But it saves me from running the vacuum every day!

The I7+ fails in comparison to its younger models. -There are ongoing app issues that specifically the I7+ has trouble connecting to. Smart mapping and App connection only works 20% of the time. -Bags. You're going to pay a pretty penny for more bags. -Vacuum effectiveness = poor. I have a dog, and it smears dog hair all over the carpet. On hardwood, but if you have rugs, forget it. My Roomba 675 is half the price and does a better job vacuuming. Skip this upgrade and go with the older model. PS- I have a German Shepherd, and the 675 is way better.

We primarily got a robot vacuum to pick up animal hair and some stray kitty litter on hardwood floors. The Samsung has more suction but on hard surfaces that doesnt matter, it just makes it louder. The roomba has a significantly better control app (schedule/manually clean by room) and the collection base has worked flawlessly so far. Only complaint is the collection bags in the base are not reusable but nothing some scissors and tape won’t fix. Hopefully somebody releases one with a zipper in it. Had two Samsung robot vacs, thankfully got an extended warranty. Should have gone with roomba the first time.

We couldn’t be happier with our roomba. So easy to use and makes life so much easier! We have a husky so a lot of hair everywhere and we use the roomba every day.

This is an excellent product. It is easy to operate and does fabulous job for cleaning my floor.

if debris is not tiny, it won't pick it up. It's great for daily maintenance

It took a few hours to map my house, I love it it does an excellent job and I have three dogs and I still do not have to empty for three months

The irobot was simple to setup and easy to use, especially after it maps the house. then pick and chose what rooms you want to clean.I am very happy with this product

Easy setup and everything worked as it was supposed to! The best surprise is that it cleans remarkably well! We call ours “Hazel” and she is totally dependable! Hazel learned the floor plan after two cleanings enabling us to individualize each room with a name and command her to clean specific rooms only at various times even heavy traffic rooms twice! Love this device controlled from our phones, tablets and Alexa! Excellent! Hazel automatically transfers dirt & whatever into her base bag immediately after returning “home”!

Roomba works pretty well. Not a perfect house cleaner clean, better than killing yourself doing it. Not a quiet device.

This is the best robot vacuum I have owned. It does need some maintenance - because I have Labs so it runs every day.

I nursed my wobbly old Electrolux vacuum along until I had saved enough for this Roomba. It is worth every penny. It cleans fantastically. The carpets are soft and springy. The bare floors are so clean, even around edges. We have two long haired dogs and the Roomba does an excellent job at collecting even the finest undercoat hair. It is fun to watch the Roomba learn new floor plans. It is not too loud, and the directions and instructions are clear, simple, and easy to follow. If you are on the fence about purchasing this vacuum, I recommend it.

Mapping feature with clean and avoid zone capability. Had a shark and no comparison in function and quality!

Love the Roomba I7! Makes vacuuming so easy! A little difficult to program but does the vacuum everywhere function flawlessly!

Overall this is a great tool for keeping the main floor of my house cleaner between deep cleans. With 2 dogs, 1 cat and 5 kids has been a challenge in the past. The Roomba does a good job capturing all the hair. It is fantastic that we don't have to dump it frequently. We have it set to run every morning. It does occasionally have sensor issues or get stuck. But when it does it sends an alert to my phone. It is way to expensive for what it is but if it last a few years it may pay for itself.
