I watched this movie over 20 years ago on vhs and thought it was a great film that looked great and sounded great. When I popped in the blue ray and watched this on a new 1080p HD TV with a Sony sound bar I was stunned how awesome the visuals were and my house was shaking from "Dino action scenes." This will always be a film with great film!

Movies about man trying to coexist with prehistoric monsters have never been in short supply (dating back to 1914 with Gertie the Dinosaur in one of the first animated films), but Spielberg's offering brings new things to the genre, such as a way to bring the mythic beasts into the present age, and what that could mean to greedy financiers and showmen alike. A stellar cast and action aplenty makes for a winning combination!

Though I originally picked this up for the Jurassic World movie money, I was absolutely amazed at the 3D version of this film. The post-conversion 3D for this 22 year old film is vastly greater than most of the films coming out now that are actually filmed in 3D! Do yourself a favor if you have a 3D player and TV, pick this disc combo up for a reference quality film that will truly showcase how awesome 3D can be.

Got this and I have about 50 3D movies and I would rate this in the top 5, as the 3D is outstanding and it is actually a good movie. I didn't think I'd care for the movie and turned out just the opposite. I will be watching it several times more in the near future.

Wow, this and Titanic 3D has got to be the best 3D conversions of classic films I have ever seen. Although shot in 2D, these films from master filmmakers looked like they were designed for 3D. Each shot composition makes great use of depth even more so than today's shot on 3D films with cheap visual gags. I would use this film, Titanic, or Avatar to demo my friends or company on my 3D projector. Excellent!

Longtime one of our favorite movies, recieves a "dino-size" boost in the overall quality of entertainment. This was one movie were it didn't seem possible to make any improvements, but re-working it into the 3D format did just that. It made a super fantastic movie even better. Things were so much "clearer" that we found new points in the movie that we had not seen in our many viewings of this classic film.

A man builds a theme park on a small island off the Coast of Costa Rica, and hopes to attract world wide attention for profit.. Little does Mr. Hammond realize that bringing humans on an island inhabited by genetically replicated dinosaurs might not end well... This film is a classic, and has many memorable scenes. It is a must watch, and for any dinosaur fan young or old! Welcome to.... Jurassic Park.

A great movie made even greater with the addition of 3D and more bonus features than before. Jurassic Park is one of the most exciting and visually spectacular movies ever. Some of the violence & gore may be a bit inappropriate for younger audiences, but the story and characters are fantastical, yet realistic at the same time. One would be hard-pressed to find a better Weekend night romp in the Park!

No movie, since Star Wars, has changed (event) movies on such a scale. You could argue The Abyss or Terminator 2, but the photoreal effects in JP are on another level. It is surprising how well they hold up today. The story is simple (and that's OK) and you get what you want (dinosaurs with plenty of screen time ahem...Godzilla 2014). Cue it up and sit back, it's gonna be a fun ride!

I used to use this movie on LaserMax to show off my home theatre system. Now having it in 3D is absolutely amazing. My friends comment how they feel like they are really in Jurrasic Park. My stereo system shakes a cup of water in sequence with the movie when the Trex appears. This movie will really highlight your system.

I have loved this movie since I was a kid, so when I finally bought it and re-watched it I was instantly whisked away to my childhood. Its a great story about the clash of the humanity and mother nature. The movie itself is exciting and the scenery is breathtaking. The animatronic dinosaurs are incredible and completely believable. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone.

If you haven't seen Jurassic Park, I don't know where you've been for the last 22 years, assuming it is still 2015 as you read this. Jurassic Park revolutionized cinema and effects and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this movie at all, it has great characters, great effects, great story...great everything. It gets a 10/10 in my book and is one of the best movies ever made.

The original release of Jurassic Park will go down in history as one of the first movies to make good use to computer generated imagery. Over 20 years later, this movie still puts some new releases to shame. The Blurry holds up ridiculously well; it still looks amazing and the remastered audio adds to the experience. If you're a fan of movies, do yourself a favor and purchase this one.

After hearing that Jurassic Park was to be made in 3D, I could hardly wait to get my hands on it! All the action, realism and thrills of the HD version are there, making it still a great movie. However, there didn't seem to be enough 3D in the action. I realize that remaking a movie in 3D is very difficult and expensive, but there just wasn't enough 3D action throughout the whole movie. It was somewhat of a let-down, especially for the price that is charged!!!!! I will be very cautious in the future before I buy a 3D remake of ANY movie. They just don't seem to have the same effect as movies that are originally filmed in 3D. Still, it IS a great movie under any circumstance. Anybody want to buy a slightly-used 3D Jurassic Park DVD? LOL!!!

I watched this film several times at the theaters when I was a teen. I loved this movie, by far one of my favorites, and when it was getting closer for the new Jurassic World to come out, I went ahead and purchased the original to relive my fascination with dinos. Still watching as an adult, I love this flick, call it nostalgia, but I do think it was made/filmed extremely well.

The remastered HD version of Jurassic Park looks incredible on a high-def TV and the steelbook case looks and feels incredible. The bonus features include a full hour length documentary on the making of including behind the scenes commentary from Spielberg, ILM, and all the producers who break down how they did everything in the movie in great detail. Really cool and worth every dollar.

The problem with Jurassic World is not only does it steal every storyline from this film, the kids are not believable. The original works so well because every bit of fear and terror you experience is through the excellent acting of the two kids in this movie. Plus, you care about every character in this film. Who do you really care about in Jurassic World besides Chris Pratt?

20 years after my dad took my brother and me to see this in theaters, it still holds up and is better than almost anything I've ever seen. The stories great, and the use of amazing animatronics really helps the special hold up well with the standards set by modern CGI. If you haven't seen this movie, don't bother renting it, just buy it. You will not be disappointed.

I purchased a 3D TV about a year ago and have begun adding 3D films to my collect since then. I've been reluctant to buy previously made 2D films that are remastered for 3D, but this one is, and several others, really clicks. We all know the story but the 3D visuals really enhance the story line. It gives the viewer a greater feel of "being there" than the standard version.
