I bought these headphones over a year ago and they're still going strong. They have a really good sound to them and they DON'T HURT! I've tried nearly every inexpensive ear bud out there and, since my ears are small, they've all caused pain....except these! The only bad thing is that the covers get nasty relatively quickly. It doesn't matter how clean you keep your ears, the covers will end up covered in wax. This also makes the covers brittle after a certain length of time because there is no way to completely clean them. I'm actually going to have to purchase my second set...not because there's anything wrong with the mechanical part of the headphones, but because the memory foam covers need changing and you can't just buy the covers. This would be a 5-star rating if I had the ability to buy the covers separately.

My wife actually got this for herself, but it was uncomfortable for her so she stopped using it. In the meantime, I go through headphones/earphones like it was candy. I found these blue JVC earphones one day and I decided to give it a try -- going on 2 years later, these earphones continue to last. These earphones are quite comfortable, I regularly wear them on my hourly commute to and from work/home. They cut out background noise well -- perfect for commuting on buses and trains, or for shutting out distractions when I'm working or studying. Importantly, they sound great. I can hear a wide range without having to crank my iPod's volume to max -- which makes my ear drums and ear doctor happy. The best thing about this product is its durability -- it gets yanked, pulled, wrapped around my iPod, stuffed into my jeans pocket and my bag -- and it keeps on going. For roughly $20 this is a great buy.

My wife and I both bought a pair and both pairs lasted about 2 1/2-3 years (the right ear went out). We used ours about 6 days a week with heavy workouts. This bothered me so I tried 3 different brands but the sound on the others just didnt compare. The bass and noise reduction on these is unparalleled. During heavy workouts the phones will slip out slightly but will not compromise sound at all.

These are absolutely great headphones for the price. Though I don't have the blue ones, i have the green ones. Regardless, they're amazing. Though the one thing I am going to gritch about is the peice right above the jack. Since I wrap mine around my iPod, it has started to rip, and comes away from the jack, so it slides up the cable, exposing the wires. But I'm pretty hard on my ear phones. They get jostled around in my backpack and on the ride to school in the bus. But for the year, year and a half i've had them, they're amazing! I'm thinking about replacing them, but don't necesarrily need to, as both ear buds work. and some people complain about comfortable fit. TIP: When you put them in, twist them down about a quarter turn so the cable is pointing down, not towards your face. this has helped me! Definitely reccomend getting these headphones, and would reccomend them to a friend.

I love these headphones. My current pair is finally starting to wear out on me after a year plus a couple months of non-stop use. Durable, very comfortable, and great sound. I am definitely going to buy a replacement pair!!!

I think the sound in these headphones are generally nice, but I found that it is hard to get these headphones to stay in unless you really push them in there, which can hurt as well. It could just be me, but it seems like the headphone people still haven't figured out what fits best in a human ear. Overall, good for what is out there and the price, but I might recommend a different shape or style.

I stopped using my nano after 2 days of using the headphones that originally came with it. Thank goodness I found these – I wear them all the time! They are amazingly comfortable and the sound is great. They also come with an extra set of earbud cushions. As the other reviewer mentioned, it doesn't matter how clean YOU are, the covers are going to get nasty. I have found a quick little wipe with a kleenex (no water!) does the trick as long as you are gentle. I have also mastered the art of tucking them away discretely into my hand or my pocket as soon as I take them out of my ears so I don't end up inadvertently embarrassed. These headphones are awesome!

I bought two pairs of ear buds I read the reviews before I went to purchase them and everyone talked really great about the sony 99.00 pair so I got those and this set for 20.00 Sound is even there is no difference they both sound really well a little more bass on these than the sony pair.Here is the clincher on the Sony pair after about five mins with noise cancellation device on I started getting a headache and my ears were so sore but not with these. I wish now I had only gotten these. You can spend a hundred dollars or 20.00 right here and enjoy these just as much I recommend these way before the sony

The only other headphones I've owned are the ones that came with my iPod. I bought these because I wanted something that was more comfortable. They're definently more comfortable but you get what you pay for. The bass is horrible, it's like listening through a blown speaker. There is also a perpetual hissing noise no matter what your listening to. The cord is cheap too. I would only recommed this product to someone who has no desire for quality and is only seeking comfort. As for me, Iam returing them.

I purchased these after my second pair of Sony MDREX55LP/B ear buds quit working for the second time in less than a year. I liked the sound of Sony's ear buds but didn't want to drop another $40.00 only to have them quit working after 6 months. I read the reviews for the JVC and decided to try a set and I was NOT disappointed. These are as comfortable as Sony's and has a great sound - all for $20.00 less. Check these out before spending more money than you have to on Sony.

I got these about 2 years ago. The only thing that made me buy new ones was when I stepped on them while running and ripped one headphone off the cord. Oopsies. Other than that, the sound quality is great. Bass levels are perfect, and background noise can be completely cut off. One thing to recommend, however, would be to use Skullcandy ear buds with this. I think their little black ear buds are extremely comfortable, and make this product perfect.

i bought these headphones when i bought my ipod a while ago, and i really liked them because they matched my ipod, they were comfortable, and they had good sound. the only things that were bad about them were that after a few months i noticed a tear in the wire of my headphones, and then shortly after that they started to play the music in weird ways. it was very hard to hear the singer, and even if id have my volume up all the way, it would still sound very low. also the music had a techno sound to it, and it hadnt always sounded like that. they also got dirty easily. im not sure why they started to play the sound badly, but i know that these are the only type of headphones that actually stay in my ears. ive tried the gummy headphones, and they still fell out, so if you're looking for something thats comfortable and stays in your ear, then purchase this item. :)

My favorite color is blue so, I knew these earphones would be perfect. Little did I knowthat these were one of the best earphones I had gotten. I'm a klutz and hve dropped these headphones on so many things and yet, they still work. When I want to listen to music, I want to hear the music and nothing else. These earphones shut out the other sounds so al I hve to hear is my music. :)

I personally believe people are too picky when it comes to headphones, because these headphones are honestly a great buy and offer great sound. My dad has the Bose In Ear headphones for $100 and I would pick these over the Bose headphones anyday. This is my second pair of these; the previous ones lasted for a year and endured many trips to the ski resort.

I really liked these because they looked great, were comfortable, and had really great sound quality for the price. I now have to go buy a new pair, though, because I sucked mine up the vacuum.

Add a solid-state digital audio player and you have the perfect audio system for exercising. Sound quality and especially the bass is exceptional considering the miniscule size of these drivers. Best part is the price. You can afford to keep a spare.

These are the best sounding headphones, I have ever bought, dollar for dollar the best sounding headphones out. Blow the bose headphones away. I sometimes need a break while at work I put my headphones in and lean back in the chair, close my eyes and see the actual band play the songs. The bass hits so hard it "Moves" my clothes, well atleast it feels like that, deep notes there. The vocals are very clear. You can turn them up really loud without distortion. I would recommed these for anyone. great for working out also, they stick in the ear really well.

These earbuds are absolutely amazing. They last for practically ever, but they get dirty, but that doesn't bother me, as they don't affect the sound quality. Speaking of, the sound quality is excellent. I found that if you twist the ear bud until the wire coming out of it is lined up parallel with your head, they go in farther, and you can hear better. Just a hint, don't listen to your music up all the way 24/7, one or both will eventually short out... :]

These are the best headphones I have ever owned! I will use them forever. I barely used my I-pod simply because I couldn't stand the uncomfortable headset that I had and now I use it all the time. The cushioning is soft and so comfortable that you forget you have earphones in. They seem to conform to your ear. These are great for long trips. I travel across the country frequently and can keep them in the whole time!

I bought a pair of these 2 years ago and they lasted through everything, including having water dumped on them and rolling around in the bottom of my purse for months. I did not take cautious care of them and nothing I did ever broke them. Every other ear bud head phones I have tried are too big for my ears or break after only a few months, seeing as how a treat them, these are perfect and incredibly durable.
